Abstract

Hepatitis is inflammation of the liver due to viral or alcohol infection. Hepatitis can cause death and the case always increases every year both in Indonesia and the world. The aim of this study is to describe and evaluate the management of examination such as patient preparation procedure, tool preparation, patient position, transducer placement, transducer used, and ultrasound image of hepatitis. This research was conducted by qualitative descriptive method. The population is all patients who perform liver ultrasound examination at RSUD Cengkareng Jakarta. The samples used were patients who performed liver ultrasound examination with clinical hepatitis. The number of samples used is 2 patients. After being analyzed and observed, ultrasonography is an accurate and accurate examination of the hepatitis case. Additional scripting techniques are sometimes required in certain cases to make the results more optimal. Based on this research, it can be expected that ultrasound modalities can be used as an appropriate supporting tool in establishing clinical hepatitis with accurate, fast, cheap and safe results.

Abstract

On ultrasound examination of the gallbladder Cholelithiasis and Gallbladder Polyp usually have similar results but have their own characteristics that can differentiate. In the image results Cholelithiasis, which is usually called gallstones, has a characteristic Sonopattern Hyperechoic with an Acousstic Shadow behind it, where when using the technique the patient's position changes the stone according to the direction of Earth's gravity. While the results of the Gallbladder Polyp image, which is a tumor protrusion attached to the gallbladder wall, has the characteristic Sonopattern Hyperecoic without an acoustic shadow behind it, where when using the technique the patient's position changes not according to the direction of Earth's gravity. In both cases, the presence or absence of an acoustic shadow behind it is based on the density of the tissue that the sound waves pass through from the ultrasound device, so that when passing through the stone, the acoustic shadow is more visible than when passing through the tumor tissue.. Keywords: sonopattern ultrasound; cholelithiasis; gallbladder polyp ABSTRAK Pada pemeriksaan USG kandung empedu Cholelithiasis dan Gallbladder Polyp biasanya memiliki hasil gambaran yang serupa tetapi memiliki ciri khasnya masing-masing yang dapat membedakan. Pada hasil gambaran Cholelithiasis yang biasa disebut batu empedu memiliki ciri khas Sonopattern Hyperechoic dengan Acousstic Shadow di belakangnya, ketika menggunakan teknik dengan posisi pasien yang berubah batu mengikuti arah gravitasi bumi. Sementara pada hasil gambaran Gallbladder Polyp yang merupakan tonjolan tumor yang menempel pada dinding kandung empedu memiliki ciri khas Sonopattern Hyperecoic tanpa Accoustic Shadow dibelakangnya, dimana ketika menggunakan teknik dengan posisi pasien yang berubah tidak mengikuti arah gravitasi bumi. Pada kedua kasus ini ada tidaknya Accoustic Shadow di belakangnya didasari oleh kepadatan jaringan yang dilalui oleh gelombang suara dari alat USG, sehingga saat melewati batu lebih tampak Accoustic Shadow dibandingkan saat melewati jaringan tumor. Abstract

Head Radiography in Emergency is a particular radiography procedure on the head that is used to analyze bones of the head as quickly and precisely as possible especially on patients post-accident. This research aims to analyze head radiography procedure with AP and Lateral projection and its use to diagnose Multiple Facial Bone Fracture post traffic accident. This research is a case study on one patient with the age of 35 at a hospital in the DKI Jakarta zone in August 2018. The imaging has been done using the Ysio Siemens X-ray machine and CR radiology cassette, with 78 kilovolts, 200 milliamperes, and 0,04 second of exposure factor. The result shows images of the head with the projection of AP and Lateral and shows the whole structure of bones within the head. The conclusion of this research is that the emergency imaging of the head was the most common procedure at the emergency department but it must be done as quickly and precisely as possible and show as it is not as it should be.Keywords: AP; lateral; fractureABSTRAK Radiografi kepala pada kasus gawat darurat  adalah pemeriksaan radiologi khusus untuk kepala yang digunakan untuk menganalisis tulang kepala pasien secara cepat dan tepat terutama pada kasus pasien pasca kecelakaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pemeriksaan radiografi kepala dengan proyeksi AP dan Lateral dan kegunaannya dalam mendiagnosis pasien dengan klinis Multiple Facial Bone Fracture pasca kecelakaan lalu lintas. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus dengan satu pasien usia 35 tahun di salah satu rumah sakit di wilayah DKI Jakarta pada bulan Agustus 2018. Penggambaran dilakukan dengan menggunakan pesawat sinar X Siemens tipe Ysio dan kaset radiologi CR, dengan faktor eksposi 78 kilovolt, 200 miliampere, dan 0,04 detik. Hasil menunjukkan gambaran kepala dengan proyeksi AP dan Lateral yang menamppilkan struktur tulang kepala secara keseluruhan.Kata kunci: AP; lateral; fraktur

Abstract

Methods Fat Supression used in the MRI examination Lumbal are SPAIR and Dixion. SPAIR is a powerful technique in suppressing fat which has low sensitivity to the inhomogeneity of RF pulses, while Dixion is a technique Fat Suppression based on chemical shift, the difference in the frequency of larmor between fat and water and in one acquisition. However, technique Dixion has a relatively long scan time because the separation of water and fat takes time during the image reconstruction process. SPAIR is used as a protocol for MRI examination Lumbal and is considered to be better at producing images. However, based on the study Dixion is more homogeneous in suppressing fat compared to SPAIR. The purpose of writing this paper as to determine differences in anatomical information MRI Lumbal T2 sequences Fat Suppression sagittal slices between SPAIR method and Dixion and to investigate methods of Fat Suppression better in MRI revealed of information image in Lumbal. This research was descriptive qualitative. The population and sample in this study were those who performed the MRI examination Lumbal, based on a literature review at the National Library of Medicine (PubMed) website and the American Journal of Roentgenology (AJR). The data collection method used was literature study or literature review, reviewing journals and scientific articles. Processing and data analysis in this study using descriptive analysis. The data obtained from the literature review are analyzed based on the the oretical basis that had been collected so that conclusions could be drawn on the research objectives. The results showed that there were differences in anatomical information on MRI Lumbal sagittal sequences T2 Fat Supression between SPAIR method and Dixion with ρ value

Abstract

The accuracy of patient position is essential to achieve the purpose of radiotherapy. Therefore, before radiotherapy, the isocenter of the patient must be determined to find out the target location. Verification serves to determine the isocenter that shifts from the reference point on the CT simulator. This research was conducted using field observation method, comparing the results of the isocenter after verification with the isocenter on the moving laser. Eight (8) samples from primary data were taken. Shift data was obtained from the average value and standard deviation. The instrument used was a linear accelerator of clinic iX type and On-Board Imager. The results obtained were the average lateral coordinate point of 0.055 cm; at the longitudinal isocenter point of 0.10 cm; and at the vertical isocenter point of 0.053 cm. From this research, it was concluded that the average value o the isocenter shift was less than 0.3 cm. This method can be used because the shift does not exceed the tolerance limit.

Abstract

Principally, the measurement of skyshine radiation exposure is important to be conducted if there is public activity in a certain place in which the source of radiation can emit its scattering radiation to all directions including to the rooftop of a Radiotherapy building. the Regulation of the Head of the National Nuclear Power Energy No. 8 Year 2011 Article 32a and No. 4 year 2013 article 23a namely 1 mSv/year. As for the design of this research, it is quantitative descriptive by conducting the measurement of radiation exposure to 44 points of measurement, research instrumentations used herein are 2 surveymeter, water phantom, Linac Primus 2D Plus. Result radiation exposure measurement are 6 point areas with the values above 1 mR/hr. Each of the average value of the measurement of the exposure rate at each point is calculated by the annual dose formula. All the final calculation results with the annual dose formula in mSv/year unit yields the values below 1 mSv/year at the 44 points measurement. the rooftop area of Radiotherapy building through Child Polyclinic Pertamina Central Hospital is under a safe limit with all calculation results of annual dose values below 1 mSv/year.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the difference in results between TPS 3D-CRT radiotherapy irradiation technique and IMRT radiotherapy irradiation technique in nasopharyngeal cancer cases based on the doses received by the target volume and organs at risk and results of isodosis curve which include the value of the index conformity and homogeneity index value. Type of this research is quantitative experimental method. As for the population was taken in 10 patients consisting of 5 male and 5 female patients with nasopharyngeal cancer who received radiation therapy with 3D-CRT irradiation technique and IMRT radiation technique. Meaningfully, the results shows that are no difference in the dose received by the target volume, the dose received by organs at risk, and the curve isodose on these two techniques, including index values of conformity and homogeneity index. In conclusion, IMRT radiotherapy irradiation technique for nasopharyngeal cancer is more prioritized than 3DCRT radiotherapy irradiation technique, as the radiotherapy principle can be achieved by using IMRT radiotherapy irradiation technique.

Abstract

Dental radiography conventional examination uses to films being placed into the oral cavity using a finger as the holder. This causes of inconvenience factor and there is primary radiation dose which directing to unnecessary organs especially the hands. The purpose of making the film holder design is to provide a sense of patients comfort and safety from radiation hazards and also to make an alternative tool for dental holders. This study is to make product design, it was conducted of 20 samples at the District Hospital Jakarta and Depok Hospitals using a simple random sample during of July to August 2016. Statistical analysis was performed by a questionnaire with Likert scale. To test the difference between artificial tools and standard film holder Kerrhawe was conducted using test t. The result was obtained there no significant differences between both of them t test > t table, df= 19 and P> 0.05. The test results of benefits using artificial dental holder of bitewing there is no problem and can be accepted by the user

Abstract

This research has conducted about exposure factor variation analysis examination of the thorax surface dose and image noise in radiography. Do 10 (ten) times the exposure in the thorax phantom with various exposure factor such as 50 kV- 8 mAs, 50 kV-10 mAs, 55 kV- 8 mAs, 55 kV-10 mAs, 55 kV-10 mAs, 60 kV- 8 mAs, 60 kV-10 mAs, 66 kV-8 mAs, 66 kV-10 mAs, and 102 kV- 1 mAs, 102 kV - 2,5 mAs for high kV technique. For each exposure factor the pinned , TLD placed in the middle of the field to measure the radiation dose level. The optimum exposure conditions of the thorax PA examination (expressed with IgM value) occurs when using exposure factor 55 kV and 8 mAs for IgM values ​​obtained are 1.91, 6.605 for standard deviation values ​​and ESD 0.098 mGy.

Abstract

Arrhythmogenic Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is a cause of sudden cardiac death in otherwise healthy young adults. (ARVD/C) is an inherited cardiomyopathy characterized by life-threatening ventricular arrhythmias and slowly progressive ventricular dysfunction. To diagnose ARVC is indicated by the Task Force of ARVC criteria in 1994 and then revised in 2010 set by the WHO/ISFC. To identify clinical characteristics of ARVC using CMR. The design of this study was qualitative descriptive, which was done by the observational method using MRI 1.5 Tesla. The subject was an adult patient who did Cardiac MRI examination in National Cardiovascular Centre Harapan Kita in March 2018. The collected data were diagnostic images of CMR sequence. Then, it compared with the diagnostic criteria of ARVC which was indicated by Task Force. The result of this study of several ARVC diagnostic criteria in Cardiac MRI examination with T1 Black Blood sequence is clear and accurate in indicating the presence of fat infiltration, CINE sequence is clear in visualizing the dilatation in the right ventricle, wall motion abnormalities, accordion sign, bulging, and LGE clearly shows fibrosis. The detection of right ventricular enlargement, fatty infiltration, fibrosis, and wall motion abnormalities in CMR is useful in the diagnosis of ARVC.
