Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis penegakan hukum terhadap siswa pelanggar disiplin dan menganalisis faktor yang menjadi penghambat dalam penegakan hukum terhadap siswa pelanggar disiplin Sekolah Polisi Negara Daerah Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian normati empiris dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang dilakukan di Sekolah Polisi Negara Daerah Sulawesi Selatan. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penegakan hukum terhadap siswa yang melanggar disiplin di SPN Daerah Sulawesi Selatan, berupa (a) pelanggaran ringan atas tata tertib, kerapihan, kebersihan dan etika diri karena belum mengerti aturan-aturan  berlaku, (b) pelanggaran sedang yaitu melanggar aturan yang sudah diketahuinya, dan diberi sanksi tindakan disiplin tegas dan terukur, (c) pelanggaran berat yaitu  melanggar   peraturan kehidupan siswa, sanksi berupa teguran keras, tindakan tegas terukur, bimbingan, konseling, jika melakukan tindak pidana  dapat  diberhentikan. Faktor penghambat penegakan hukum disiplin SPN Daerah Sulawesi Selatan yaitu (a) kurangnya aturan yang  sanksi sehingga  sulit menegakkan peturan kehidupan siswa, (b) kurang efektif penegakan hukum/disiplin  (c) Sumber daya manusia tenaga pendidik dan provos, yang ada dari segi kuantitas sudah cukup, namun dari segi kualitas harus ditingkatkan karena 16,7 %  tenaga pendidik masih berpendidikan SMA dan 0%  S3, demikian pula provos 37,5% masih berpendidikan SMA artinya belum mengenyam pendidikan pada perguruan tinggi. This study aims to determine and analyze law enforcement against students who violate discipline and analyze the factors that become obstacles in law enforcement against students who violate discipline at the South Sulawesi Regional Police School. This research is an empirical normative study with a qualitative approach, which was conducted at the South Sulawesi Regional Police School. The results of this study indicate that law enforcement against students who violate discipline at the South Sulawesi Regional SPN, in the form of (a) minor violations of order, tidiness, cleanliness and personal ethics because they do not understand the applicable rules, (b) moderate violations, violating the rules which he already knows, and is given strict and measurable disciplinary sanctions, (c) serious violations namely violating the rules of student life, sanctions in the form of a stern reprimand, measurable firm action, guidance, counseling, if you commit a crime you can be dismissed. The inhibiting factors for enforcing the disciplinary law of the South Sulawesi Regional SPN are (a) the lack of rules that sanction making it difficult to enforce rules on student life, (b) the ineffective enforcement of laws/discipline (c) The human resources of educators and provos, which exist in terms of quantity. sufficient, but in terms of quality it must be improved because 16.7% of the teaching staff still have high school education and 0% doctoral degrees, as well as 37.5% provos still have high school education, meaning they have not yet received a university education.
