Abstract

The research was motivated by the presence of the Covid-19 pandemic, which had an impact on education. Researchers looked at the problems faced by mathematics teachers at SDIT Insan Mulia Surakarta during the Covid-19 pandemic. The objectives of the study were (1)to find out the problems faced. (2)the solutions taken by mathematics teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic. Descriptive qualitative research methodology collecting observational data, interviews, documentation. Data analiysis: data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of study show that there are several problems faced by research subjects teaching mathematics in VD class during the covid-19 pandemic, namely reduced lesson hours but a lot of material coverage, student conditioning; dealing with bad mood student, student do not really understand online material, facing students who are less enthusiastic about working on math problems, facing students who are independent in working on questions that are still lacking in literacy, especially he reading quality of students, the solutions taken by the teacher solves the problems, faced, namely before learning the research subject planning learning systematics, ice breaking, counting, motivation, guessing the correct answer is given a star reward, reviewing material learned online first, providing alternative ways sucs as donkey bridge in remembering, memorizing formulas, during limited PTM students are trained to do practice questions at school, give homework to read the material to be studied in the meeting

Abstract

Tujuan pengabdian pendampingan penyusunan instrumen berbasis AKM literasi numerasi adalah (1) Memberi fasilitas kepada guru MI dalam menyusun instrumen penilaian berbasis AKM literasi numerasi, dan (2) Memberi bantuan konsultasi kepada guru MI dalam hal penyusunan instrumen penilaian berbasis AKM literasi numerasi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR). Langkah CBPR yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan pelaporan. Subjek pengabdian ini yaitu sebanyak 82 guru MI dari 82 MI se-Kabupaten Sukoharjo. Pelaksanaan pendampingan dilaksanakan selama lima bulan, yaitu pada bulan April hingga September tahun 2022. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dengan mengusung tema pendampingan penyusunan instrumen AKM literasi numerasi bagi guru MI dalam rangka menunjang implementasi asesmen nasional telah berjalan dengan baik. Berdasarkan hasil analitis data yang dilakukan secara kuantitatif deskriptif dapat diketahui bahwa sebanyak 58,54% peserta telah mampu menyusun instrumen AKM literasi numerasi dengan sangat baik. Sebanyak 26,83% peserta dapat menyusun instrumen literasi numerasi dengan baik, selebihnya terdapat 14,63% peserta memiliki kemampuan cukup dalam menyusun instrument AKM literasi numerasi. Adanya pendampingan penyusunan instrumen literasi numerasi bagi guru MI di Kabupaten Sukoharjo sangat efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan guru MI dalam penyusunan instrumen AKM literasi numerasi.The assistance service's objectives for preparing AKM-based reading literacy instruments are (1) To provide facilities for MI teachers in preparing AKM-based reading literacy assessment instruments and (2) To provide consultation assistance to MI teachers in the preparation of AKM-based reading literacy assessment instruments. The Community Based Participatory Research (CBPR) method is used in this community service. CBPR steps are planning, implementation, and reporting. The subject of this service is as many as 82 MI teachers from all MI in Sukoharjo Regency. The assistance was carried out for five months, from April to September 2022. The implementation of community service activities with the theme of assisting in the preparation of numeracy literacy AKM instruments for MI teachers to support the implementation of the national assessment has gone well. Based on the results of the data analysis, as many as 58.54% of the participants were able to construct the numeracy literacy AKM instrument very well. As many as 26.83% of participants could construct numeracy literacy instruments well, and the remaining 14.63% had sufficient ability to develop numeracy literacy AKM instruments. The assistance in preparing numeracy literacy instruments for MI teachers in Sukoharjo Regency was very effective in improving the ability of MI teachers to compile AKM arithmetic instruments.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui bagaimana implementasi POAC pada penerimaan peserta didik baru masa pandemi covid 19. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukan di SDIT Ar Risalah Surakarta tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Adapun yang menjadi subjek penelitian ialah Ketua PPDB dengan informan Kepala Sekolah dan Wali Calon Peserta Didik Baru. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah: 1) Planning meliputi kegiatan penetapan kuota peserta didik baru tahun pelajaran 2021/2022, penetapan persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh calon peserta didik baru, persiapan media sosialisasi PPBD secara online dan offline, persiapan sarana dan prasarana penunjang pelaksanaan PPDB, dan penyusunan rencana anggaran belanja kegiatan PPDB; 2) Organizing meliputi kegiatan pembentukan panitia PPDB, pembagian tugas masing-masing anggota panitia secara spesifik, pengaturan jadwal pendaftaran PPDB, penentuan waktu seleksi dan mengatur jadwal kerja masing-masing anggota panitia, dan penentuan waktu pengumunan hasil seleksi PPDB; 3) Actuating meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi PPDB secara online dan offline, pelaksanaan pendaftaran, proses seleksi, dan penyampaian hasil seleksi PPDB, datar ulang calon peserta didik baru, pengumuman penetapan peserta didik baru; 4) Controlling meliputi kegiatan pengawasan aktif (dekat) dan pasif. Pengawasan aktif dilakukan pada waktu dan tempat dilaksanakannya PPDB, sedangkan pengawasan pasif dilakukan dengan menganalisis laporan pertanggungjawaban (LPJ) pelaksanaan PPDB dari awal sampai akhir.

Abstract

Pendidikan ramah anak merupakan pendekatan yang mengutamakan kesejahteraan, hak, dan kebutuhan anak dalam proses pembelajaran, menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan optimal dan pembentukan karakter positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pendidikan ramah anak sebagai sarana pembentukan karakter siswa di sekolah dasar melalui metode studi pustaka. Studi ini mengumpulkan dan menganalisis berbagai literatur yang terkait dengan konsep, implementasi, dan dampak pendidikan ramah anak di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan ramah anak berkontribusi secara signifikan dalam membentuk karakter siswa yang disiplin, bertanggung jawab, jujur, dan memiliki empati. Lingkungan sekolah yang inklusif, metode pembelajaran yang partisipatif, serta keterlibatan aktif orang tua dan komunitas merupakan faktor kunci keberhasilan pendidikan ramah anak. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengintegrasian prinsip-prinsip pendidikan ramah anak dalam kurikulum dan praktik pendidikan di sekolah dasar untuk menghasilkan generasi yang berkarakter kuat dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Design Thinking approach in cultivating empathy, collaboration, and environmental responsibility among elementary school students. Conducted at SDN Purwokerto 1, Tayu District, Pati Regency, Central Java, this qualitative case study involved a fifth-grade teacher and students in IPAS (Science and Social Studies) learning. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model. The findings reveal that the teacher successfully integrated the five stages of Design Thinking empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test into contextual and collaborative learning activities. Students actively addressed real-life environmental issues, particularly waste management at the school, which fostered critical thinking, creativity, and emotional engagement. Evaluations were conducted formatively and reflectively, emphasizing student collaboration, creativity, emotional involvement, and the development of environmental responsibility. The implications of this study suggest that Design Thinking not only enhances conceptual understanding but also nurtures students’ empathy, teamwork, and environmental responsibility. The teacher’s role as a designer of meaningful, student-centered learning experiences that connect classroom learning to authentic contexts is crucial. Future research could explore the long-term effects of Design Thinking on character development and its broader application in diverse educational settings.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perangkat pembelajaran faktual yang ada dan karakteristik perangkat pembelajaran menggambar berbasis outdoor learning yang dikembangkan serta menguji kevalidan dan keefektifannya. Penelitian R and D dengan model 3D Thiagarajan yang dimodifikasi yang terdiri atas tahap pendefinisian, tahap perancangan, dan tahap pengembangan dengan subjek uji adalah siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 2 Singosari yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran faktual yang ada masih terdapat ketidaksesuaian isi dan antar komponen perangkat pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran menggambar berbasis outdoor learning memiliki lima sintaks pembelajaran yaitu: (1) tahap pendahuluan, (2) tahap eksplorasi, (3) tahap outdoor learning berbasis lingkungan sekolah, (4) tahap elaborasi, dan (5) tahap presentasi. Hasil validasi ahli terhadap perangkat pembelajaran diperoleh rata-rata sebesar 3,46 dalam kategori sangat valid. Hasil uji coba terhadap perangkat pembelajaran menunjukkan bahwa (1) pengukuran aspek kreativitas diperoleh rata-rata 7,01, (2) aktivitas siswa diperoleh persentase 66,87% dalam kategori aktif, (3) persentase respons siswa terhadap pelaksanaan perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 83,05% dalam kategori sangat positif, dan (4) persentase respons guru terhadap perangkat pembelajaran sebesar 85% dalam kategori sangat positif. Produk akhir penelitian berupa buku pedoman guru perangkat pembelajaran menggambar berbasis outdoor learning.Kata Kunci: Kreativitas, Outdoor Learning, Perangkat PembelajaranTHE DEVELOPMENT OF  DRAWING LEARNING  INSTRUMENTS BASED OUTDOOR LEARNING FOR ELEMENTARY STUDENTSAbstractThis research purpose to describe factually learning instrument dan characteristics of learning instrument was developed and acquiring products of drawing learning instrument that are valid and effective.The R and D research design used modifications Thiagarajan 3D model consisting of definition phase, design phase and development phase with research subjects are students of fourth grade at Singosari 2 Elementary School were selected by purposive sampling. The results showed are learning instruments in fact still found mismatch content and components. Drawing learning instruments based on outdoor learning that has five syntax, such as: (1) preliminary, (2) exploration, (3) outdoor learning based school environment, (4) elaboration, and (5) presentation. The validation result of learning instruments obtained an average of 3.46, it is include of very valid category. The result of learning instrument trials shows that: (1) measurement creativity is 7.01 an average, (2) percentage student’s activity get 66.87% in active category, (3) percentage student's response of learning implementation get 83,05% in very positive category, and (4) percentage teacher's respons of lesson plan get 85% in very positive category. The final product of the research was in the form of a teacher manual on drawing learning devices based on outdoor learning.Keywords: Creativity, Outdoor Learning, Learning Instruments

Abstract

The formation of religious character from an early age is an important focus in Islamic value-based education, especially in elementary schools. However, the application of these values is often still formal and does not touch on real practices. This study aims to identify and explore Islamic value-based learning strategies through religious projects implemented at SDIT Taqiyya Rosyida. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the habit of daily worship, teacher role models, integration of Islamic values in subjects, and religious projects such as Ramadhan Berbagi and the tahfidz program were the main strategies in instilling the values of honesty, empathy, responsibility, and discipline in students. This strategy is also supported by a conducive school environment and collaboration with parents. In conclusion, Islamic value-based learning strategies that are implemented consistently and contextually are effective in forming students' religious character as a whole.

Abstract

Critical thinking ability is one of the core skills that must be developed in elementary school education, considering its importance in forming analytical thinking and effective problem solving. The right learning model can be the key to facilitating the development of students' abilities. This research aims to identify the role of learning models in improving students' critical thinking abilities, by emphasizing the importance of these abilities in the current educational context. The literature review method is used to collect data from various related literature sources. This type of research is analytical descriptive which examines theories about learning and critical thinking. The results of the literature review show that the application of relevant learning models can significantly influence the development of students' critical thinking skills, especially through student-centered learning (Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), flipped classroom, and technology-based learning), collaborative learning (jigsaw and integration STEM), and the use of problem solving models (Problem Based Learning (PBL), inquiry-based learning, and project-based learning). The implication of this research is the importance of integrating learning models that support the development of critical thinking in learning design in schools. This research provides a strong theoretical basis for the development of more effective learning strategies in the context of elementary school education. Further research is recommended to empirically test the effectiveness of these learning models in different classroom contexts.

Abstract

Western culture is currently developing very rapidly along with technological developments; this has a big impact on the development of the character and morals of students in Indonesia. This research aims to (1) Describe the implementation of character education based on local wisdom in dance extracurriculars at SDN Kartasura 01 Sukoharjo; (2) Describe the values ​​of local wisdom in extracurricular dance, especially the Kebo Kinul dance at SDN Kartasura 01 Sukoharjo. This study used a descriptive qualitative method. The subjects of this research were 15 students who were active in extracurricular dance and 1 dance teacher. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research are: (1) The implementation of character education based on local wisdom in extracurricular dance at SDN Kartasura 01 Sukoharjo was carried out by preserving the regional culture of the Kebo Kinul Dance, which developed in Sukoharjo Regency; (2) The values ​​contained in the Kebo Kinul dance extracurricular are the value of working together, the value of gratitude and the value of love for the homeland. Based on the results, it can be concluded that the implementation goes through the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation following the curriculum to achieve national education goals

Abstract

The use of media in learning has a very important role as a means of non-verbal communication. The importance of using media in the learning process has been stated by many experts. Based on the preliminary studies that had been carried out, it is shown that teachers rarely use and develop learning media. Teachers have lacked sufficient knowledge and skills to develop thematic learning media. It is because of the lack of training in making thematic learning media. Hence, learning activities tend to be monotonous by applying lectures. One of the attempts to produce quality teachers is to equip prospective teacher students with appropriate knowledge and skills based on the era. The PGMI study program teaches students to develop thematic learning media. It was to find out how to implement product-based learning to prepare innovative graduates for the students of PGMI UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. The research was descriptive qualitative research. The results of the research were 1) the planning stage, which included the preparation of lesson plans for the PGMI learning system planning and learning materials design, 2) the implementation phase, which included teaching the learning material on thematic learning media and their development, analyzing basic competencies, indicators and thematic learning objectives, designing thematic learning media, and implementing the development of thematic learning media, and 3) evaluation phase that included try-out of thematic learning media use, criticism and suggestions related to the advantages and disadvantages of the thematic learning media products.
