Abstract

This study aims to measure the effect of subjective norms, entrepreneurship education, on student entrepreneurial intentions mediated by self-efficacy. This paper proposes a resolution to these discrepancies and tests these hypotheses in a university setting. This type of research is quantitative research, which uses a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire that has been compiled I n several statements and is measured using a Likert scale of 1-5. The population used in this research is the 2020-2022 Management Study faculty of economic and business. The sampling technique used the Cochran formula which obtained 309 samples. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is run through AMOS 24 as an analysis tool. The results of the hypothesis test show that subjective norms have an effect on entrepreneurial intentions, while the entrepreneurship education variable has an effect on entrepreneurial intentions. Subjective norms affect entrepreneurial intentions mediated by self-efficacy. While very insightful, this paper is limited by the use of a within-subjects survey research design and the inherent limitations with such research. Additionally, using college students as respondents limits the ability to generalize the results to any population outside similar college-age populations. Keywords: entrepreneurial intentions, subjective norms, entrepreneurship education, self efficacy, student

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of promotion, price, and brand image on purchasing decisions for Vivo smartphone products. The research was conducted with a sample of 100 respondents, specifically students from PGRI University Semarang. The sampling technique employed in this study is non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach, targeting individuals who meet specific criteria. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires to gather information about respondents' perceptions of the variables studied. The analysis was performed using the SPSS software application, which facilitated the processing of quantitative data and the testing of hypotheses. The findings of this study reveal that promotion does not have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for Vivo smartphones. In contrast, price has a significant influence, indicating that consumers consider pricing as a critical factor when deciding to purchase Vivo products. Additionally, brand image also significantly affects purchasing decisions, highlighting the importance of maintaining a positive perception of the brand to attract potential buyers. These results suggest that while promotional activities may not directly impact purchasing decisions in this context, pricing strategies and brand positioning play a crucial role in influencing consumer behavior. This research provides valuable insights for marketers and business practitioners in the smartphone industry, emphasizing the need to focus on competitive pricing and strong brand image development to enhance purchasing decisions among the target market.

Abstract

This study explores the relationship between financial performance and company value in the energy sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2020 to 2023. The goal is to assess how various financial performance indicators impact firm value, as measured by the Price to Book Value (PBV). The financial performance indicators used in this study include Current Ratio (CR), Return on Assets (ROA), Return on Equity (ROE), Total Asset Turnover (TATO), Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm size (Size). To examine this relationship, the study employs panel data regression, using data sourced from the IDX and analyzed with Excel and E-Views software. This methodology helps identify the degree to which financial performance metrics influence company value in the energy sector. The results reveal that certain financial indicators significantly impact company value. Specifically, ROA, TATO, and DAR were found to have a meaningful effect on PBV during the 2020–2023 period. These findings suggest that the efficiency of asset management, the ability to generate profits from assets, and the level of debt relative to assets play critical roles in determining a company’s value. Conversely, other factors such as CR, ROE, DER, and firm size did not show a significant relationship with PBV during the study period. This study highlights the importance of selecting the right financial performance metrics when evaluating the value of companies in the energy sector, offering valuable insights for investors, analysts, and corporate managers aiming to optimize firm performance and valuation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Price and Product Quality on Purchase Decision at Angkringan Hitam Putih with Purchase Intention as a mediating variable. This study employs a quantitative approach with a causal design to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. Data were collected through a questionnaire using purposive sampling method, targeting consumers aged above 17 years who had made a purchase at Angkringan Hitam Putih. The total sample consisted of 160 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of AMOS software. The results indicate that Price and Product Quality have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention, but do not have a significant effect on Purchase Decision. Purchase Intention also does not significantly affect Purchase Decision, thus failing to mediate the relationship between Price and Product Quality toward Purchase Decision. These findings suggest that consumers' perceptions of Price and Product Quality are capable of shaping Purchase Intention, but are not sufficient to drive Purchase Decision either directly or through mediation.

Abstract

This study explores the intellectual structure and research trends surrounding ethnocentrism in multinational corporations (MNCs) through a bibliometric mapping approach, with particular attention to cross-cultural management and workforce diversity studies. An initial dataset of 200 records was retrieved using Publish or Perish from Google Scholar and Crossref, of which 96 peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2020 and 2025 were retained following a PRISMA guided screening process. Bibliometric analysis was conducted using VOSviewer to examine keyword co occurrence, network relationships, and thematic density. The results indicate that ethnocentrism functions as a central organizing concept within the literature, closely associated with cultural differences, expatriation, workforce diversity, and organizational practices in multinational contexts. Temporal patterns observed in overlay and density visualizations suggest a growing scholarly emphasis on practice-oriented and context-specific perspectives, particularly in relation to managerial and organizational implications in global operations. Overall, this study offers a structured synthesis of existing research, highlights emerging thematic directions, and provides a foundation for future empirical and comparative inquiries into cultural diversity management in multinational corporations.
