Abstract

Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek yang mampu memotivasi siswa melalui pendekatan pembelajaran aktif dan kolaboratif. Model ini dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa, pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan sosial mereka. Metode pengembangan model menggunakan pendekatan penelitian tindakan yang melibatkan kolaborasi antara guru dan siswa dalam proses perancangan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Kegiatan pengabdian dilakukan melalui observasi kelas, wawancara, dan analisis motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini merupakan solusi efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi siswa karena terlibat aktif dalam proses pembelajaran, termotivasi dengan tugas proyek yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, kolaborasi antar siswa dalam kelompok proyek juga memperkuat keterampilan sosial dan kerjasama. Pelatihan yang dilaksanakan memberikan kontribusi terhadap pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang dapat memotivasi siswa secara efektif, sekaligus meningkatkan pemahaman konsep dan keterampilan sosial. Model pembelajaran berbasis proyek ini dapat diadopsi dan diadaptasi oleh guru di berbagai jenjang pendidikan untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang stimulatif dan berdampak positif terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa.

Abstract

Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) merupakan kondisi medis yang disebabkan oleh perubahan fungsi dan struktur ginjal yang bersifat permanen dan berkembang secara perlahan dan terus menerus. Kelelahan merupakan salah satu gejala yang paling umum dan paling mengganggu bagi pasien CKD. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat kelelahan dengan intervensi latihan pernapasan dengan teknik Buteyko pada pasien CKD. Metode penelitian menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode Pree Experiment dengan jenis one group pretest-posttest design yang dilakukan terhadap 31 responden CKD di Rumah Sakit Tingkat II Dustira Cimahi dengan pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik purposive sampling .Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis data uji Paired sample t-Test didapatkan hasil rata-rata (Mean) sebelum diberikan perlakuan sebesar 30,23 dengan standar deviasi (SD) sebesar 6.270 sedangkan rata-rata (Mean) sesudah diberikan perlakuan sebesar 41,48 dengan standar deviasi (SD) sebesar 4.947 dengan nilai P-Value sebesar 0,001 (P<0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan tingkat kelelahan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi latihan pernafasan dengan teknik Buteyko pada pasien CKD. Simpulan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan tingkat kelelahan sebelum dan sesudah intervensi latihan pernapasan teknik buteyko

Abstract

Kids diagnosed with thalassemia major must undergo continuou lifelong transfusion therapy, which can have an impact on their overall  quality of life. Family support that can improve the quality of life of children with thalassemia includes informational, appreciation, instrumental, and emotional support and Parents have a crucial part in assisting their children in managing the stress and anxiety that often arise due to thalassemia. This research aimed to investigate how family assitance correlates with the quality of life for youngsters diagnosed with thalassemia major. This study uses a quantitative research method with a correlational research design and a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling with a sample size of 60 people. The variables in this study include independent variables, namely family support, while the dependent variable is Quality of life. The instruments used were family support questionnaires according to Friedman's theory and PedQL 4.0 (Pediatric Quality Of Life Inventory). This research took place in the Thalassemia Polyclinic Area of Al-Ihsan Hospital, located in Bandung, West Java Province. Data analysis using the chi-square method. The results showed that the majority had positive family support with an average score of 35,59 as many as 44 people (73,3%) and the majority had a normal quality of life with an average score of 73 as many as 31 people (51,7%). The results of the Statistical analyses yielded a significance level of 0,001 (p value 0,005), there exists a notabele correlation between the two factors. The findings from this research indicate that there is connectiob between familial assistence and quality of life  in children with thalassemia major.

Abstract

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a developmental disorder in children which is characterized by poorsocial communication, persistent social interaction, and repetitive patterns of behavior and activities. It isvery important to be trained to be independent in carrying out daily activities including toilet training.Toilet training is one of the developmental tasks that need to be achieved by every child and requiresattention from parents in training the ability to urinate and defecate. The purpose of this study was toidentify and explore in depth the implementation of toilet training for children with autism spectrumdisorders through family support. The research design used is quantitative and qualitative researchmethods (mixed methods). The quantitative sampling technique used a total sampling of 50 parents whohad ASD children. In the process of collecting qualitative data, it was carried out through an in-depthinterview process to 5 participants. The instruments used in this study were questionnaires and interviewguidelines. The data were analyzed using the Collaizi approach. The results show that family support hadan average value of 76.64 (95% CI 73.72-79.56) with the lowest value 54 and the highest 98. The results ofthe interview obtained 7 themes, namely the importance of being taught toilet training, a sign of the child'sdesire when BAK /CHAPTER, readiness of children to be trained, readiness of parents, toilet trainingprocess, family attention, and feelings of parents when children are trained. With the right family support,the implementation of toilet training can run well.

Abstract

Mental disorders are among the health problems that affect all aspects of an individual's life. The rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders does not rely solely on professional services in healthcare facilities, but is also greatly influenced by family involvement. The family plays a crucial role in supporting the healing process, preventing relapse, and optimizing the patient's quality of life. Unfortunately, many families still lack an understanding of their strategic role in this process. This community service activity aims to improve families' knowledge and skills in supporting the rehabilitation of patients with mental disorders. The methods used include education, discussion, simulation, and direct family mentoring. The results showed an increase in family understanding of patient care, active involvement in behavior monitoring, and improved emotional management. Family-based interventions have proven to be an effective approach in the sustainable rehabilitation process of patients with mental disorders.

Abstract

Background: Childhood obesity among school-aged children has become an escalating public health concern in Indonesia. It significantly affects children’s physical, mental, and social well-being. Obesity arises from a complex interplay of biological, environmental, behavioral, and parenting-related factors. Purpose: To examine the contributing factors to obesity in school-aged children. Method: A qualitative research design was employed using a phenomenological approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with five parents of elementary school children (grades 1–6) who had been diagnosed with obesity. Each interview was conducted in one day, with a duration of no more than 30 minutes per Respondent. The data were analyzed through coding and theme identification. Results: The analysis revealed five primary themes contributing to childhood obesity: a sedentary lifestyle, genetic influences, eating habits and parenting style, frequent consumption of snacks and sugary drinks, and irregular sleep patterns and habits. Conclusion: Obesity in school-aged children is driven by an interaction of sedentary behavior, unhealthy lifestyle habits, parenting practices, high sugar intake, genetic predisposition, and poor sleep routines. Preventive measures should adopt a holistic approach involving families, schools, and the surrounding environment to instill healthy behaviors from an early age.

Abstract

ABSTRAK  Pelayanan kegawatdaruratan pra-Rumah Sakit bertumpu pada kualitas penolong pertama sebagai orang yang merekognisi dan melakukan intervensi pada korban pertama kali. Masyarakat secara umum berpotensi menjadi penolong pertama dimanapun jika terjadi kasus kegawatdaruratan. olehkarena itu masyarakat secara umum perlu memiliki kemampuan yang baik dalam pertolongan kegawatdarurata. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan masyarakat dalam penanganan kegawatdaruratan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan ini yaitu menggunakan pendekatan Social cognitive preparation model, sedangkan pemberian materinya dilakukan dengan metode demonstrasi, diskusi, dan simulasi terhadap 30 peserta. Hasil menunjukan bahwa peserta memiliki keesadaran diri yang tinggi ditunjukan dengan nilai rata-rata nilai refleksi diri mencapai 78,07 kemudian pasca pelatihan menunjukan kualitas resusitasi jantung paru yang tinggi dinilai dengan indicator, Kedalaman CPR, Kecepatan CPR dan Full Chest Recoil, dengan rentang 82,75 %- 93.10% dari keseluruhan peserta. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian pelatihan terhadap individu yang memiliki kesadaran akan kebutuhan kemampuan apa yang ingin dipelajari jauh memberikan dampak. Kata Kunci: Cardiopulmonal Resuscitation, Social Cognitive Model, Relawan, Kegawatdaruratan, Pelatihan Masyarakat.  ABSTRACT Pre-hospital emergency services rely on the quality of first responders, who recognize and intervene firsthand with victims. The general public has the potential to be first responders anywhere in the event of an emergency. Therefore, the general public needs to have strong emergency response skills. The goal of this activity was to improve the community's ability to handle emergencies. The method used in this activity was the Social Cognitive Preparation Model approach, while material was delivered through demonstrations, discussions, and simulations with 30 participants. Results showed that participants had high self-awareness, as evidenced by an average self-reflection score of 78.07. Post-training demonstrated high levels of cardiopulmonary resuscitation quality, as assessed by indicators such as CPR Depth, CPR Rate, and Full Chest Recoil, with a range of 82.75% to 93.10% of all participants. From these results, it can be concluded that providing training to individuals who are aware of the skills they need to learn has a significant impact. Keywords: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, Social Cognitive Model, Volunteers, Emergency, Community Training.
