Abstract

This study aims The Number of Seeds and Pruning of Maize Yields (Zea mayz L). The research was conducted in April to December in the village of Pandes, Wedi Subdistrict, Klaten Regency, Central Java Province. High land 115 m type soil Vertosol. This research used a completely random factorial 2 x 4 randomized Block design. The First factor is the number of corn seeds per planting hole (B), consisting of 2 levels B1: 1 seed per planting hole with a spasing (column) of 20 cm, B2: 2 seeds per planting hole white a inter spasing (row) 40 cm. The second factor is pruning (P), consisting of 4 levels: P0 white out pruning (control), P1 pruning leaves under the corn cob, P3 pruning male lowers (tassel) and P4 in combination. Results, all treatment parameter had no interaction, except the weight of corn seeds per cob. All treatment parameter was not significantly different except the weight of corn kernels per corn cob. The largest seed weight is the combination of B1P2 (183,93 grams per corn cob, number of seeds 1 grain planting hole with pruning of leaves and male lowers. The smallest seed weight is the combination of B1P0 (176,88 grams per corn cob, number of seeds 1 grain planting hole without pruning.

Abstract

The research titled the Inluence and haw to plant shallot (Allium ascalonium L.) on the result was conducted on March to October 2016 in BP3K Girimulyo, Girimulyo Kulon Progo with height of 250 m on soil type vertisol. The research used randomized block design arranged in factorial consisting two treatment factors with three replications. The irst factor (P) consists of 2 levels, P0=without cutting, P1= cutting 1/3 of tuber. The second factor of how to plant shallot consist of 4 levels, (S1)=spacing 20 X 20 cm population 177.778 clumps per hectar, (S2)= planting jajar lewogo 2:1 spacing 20 X 20 cm population 271.111 clumps per hectar, (S3) spacing 20 X 15 cm population 231.111 clumps per hectar, (S4)= planting jajar lewogo 2:1 spacing 20 X 15 cm population 351.111 clumps per hectar. The result showed there is interaction of second treatment to parameter of wet bulb weight per clumps highest (71.26 gram), parameter diameter of dry tuber treatment P1S1, P2S1 highest (19.65 mm, 19.95 mm). Conclusions of this study are: 1. On how to plant, cutting 1/3 of tuber tip gives good result to most of observation parameters; 2. The Tajarwo 2:1 system is better than the conventional system (non tajarwo) to shallot yield per plot of size 4,6 m2 parameter; 3. the Conventional system can increase the diameter of the shallot bulbs.

Abstract

The research titled the influence of a mixture of manure and rice husks to the results of chili (Capsicum frutens) aims to determine the additional amount of manure, rice husks combination of manure and rice husks improve result of chili. Research conducted on the area of BP3K Kalibawang of DI Yogyakarta on soil vertosol, began in Marsh 2014 though December 2014. Research used randomized block design arranged in factorial consisted of two treatment with three replications. The first factor manure (P) consists of 5 levels. The second factor rice husk with 5 levels. The parameters of observation:1. The number of branch 6 weeks old; 2. When the appearance of the first lowers; 3. The weight of fruit per plant. The results showed no interaction between the two treatments. Conclusions of this study are: 1. The addition of manure 100% or 4 part give the most of the number and weight of fruit per plant (planting medium soil: manure=1:1) 2. The addition of rice husks 50% or 2 part, give the most of the weight of fruit per plant (planting medium soil rice husks: manure=2:1). 3. There is no interaction of treatment to the number and weight of chilies per plant.

Abstract

The title of this research is Influence of row planting system Legowo on productivity. The research aim is to determine the suitable of row planting system Legowo to get the best yield on paddy production. The research was done in BP3K Kalibawang, region Kalibawang, which has altitude 175 m. The experiment started from May to November 2013. The research used field experimental methods with single factorial design that were arranged in randomized complete block design, It was 3 times repeated. The first factor 5 levels are conventional plant (P0), row planting system Legowo 2:1 (P1), row planting system Legowo 3:1 (P2), row planting system Legowo 4:1 (P3), and row planting system Legowo 5:1 (P4). The result showed the method of row planting system Legowo 2:1 give higher yield product on dry grain process, and the best rice quality.

Abstract

The Research purpose was to study the arrangement of primary branch number and crop reduction on the yield and seed quality of Kaliurang tomato variety. A field experiment was conducted on regosol soil located in Agriculture Extension College Yogyakarta at 115 m above sea level (asl). The experiment was carried out following 3X3 factorial design arranged in Completely Randomized Block Design with 3 replications. The first factor was branch with 3 levels i.e. 1 primary branch, 2 primary branches and 3 primary branches. The second factor was reduction of tomato fruit set consisting 3 levels i.e. 0,96 reduction, 15% reduction and 30% reduction. The results show that 3 primary branch and 15 94, or 30 96 crop reduction best crop growth rate, leaf area index on 6 weeks plant growth. The treatment of 3 primary branches and 15% crop reduction gave the highest tomato yield per hectare. And the best weight of 1000 seeds was obtained front the combination of 1 primary branch with 30 % tomato reduction.

Abstract

This study aimed to understanding the agroecosystem of Tawangrejo subvillage, condition it that is analyzed by SWOT, and to find the development model of the agribusiness tour. It was qualitative in nature. The data were collected through interview and observation methods, and analyzed using the qualitative descriptive. The result of the study is as the followings. The agroecosystem of Tawangrejo subvillage has generally prospect to contributing the agribusiness tour. The result of SWOT analysis is showed that has very aspects to contributing the agribusiness tour. The development of the agribusiness tour can be used through development of physical, institusional, technical, economical, cultural and artistical conditions.

Abstract

Hubungan kekerabatan pada persilangan three-way terung dilakukan untuk membantu seleksi pedigree dengan perolehan galur bertipe “pondoh”. Persilangan antar tetua jantan ‘Lokal Gunungkidul’ dan tetua betina ‘Teho F1’ menghasilkan terung bertipe “pondoh” sebagai kajian dalam pengkayaan ragam tipe buah di Indonesia. Pengamatan dilakukan secara single plant dengan mengamati karakter tetua dan hasil persilangan sebanyak 100 populasi. Jarak koefisien antar tetua menunjukkan nilai sebesar 66,88, sedangkan antar tetua dengan hasil persilangan berkisar 9,69-36,69. Analisis clustergram menunjukkan adanya klaster tetua yang terbentuk pada nilai similaritas 0% – 5,96%. Adapun hasil persilangan membentuk klaster pada nilai similaritas 38,21 dengan bentuk buah ellipsoid dan 92,55% - 94,18% dengan bentuk buah obovate dan pear shaped (tipe “pondoh”). Hasil persilangan membentuk 4 klaster dengan nilai similaritas yang berbeda. Klaster AI dan BI menjadi pilihan dalam perolehan galur harapan terung tipe “pondoh” sebagai fokus bahan kajian dalam pemurnian galur generasi berikutnya.
