Abstract

The purpose of this test is to determine the aggregate characteristics of the Pucak river as Aus Layer Laston Mixture. So, several series of studies were used, starting from testing aggregates (coarse and fine), asphalt and filler, then making compositions to making samples of Laston Wear Layer. The results of this study are to determine the characteristics of the pavement material using aggregate from the Pucak River Maros Regency to meet the requirements of the 2018 General Bina Marga specification, to be used in road layers. Based on the Conventional Marshall test, the Stability, Meltability (flow), Void In Mix (VIM), Void In Mix Aggregate (VMA), and Foid Filled With Bitumen (FVB) all values obtained meet the General Specifications of Highways 2018. And testing Marshall Immersion in the Aus Layer Laston mixture meets the 2018 Highways General Specifications, where the value of the Marshall Remaining Stability is 94.50 ≥ 90%.

Abstract

Material testing was carried out to obtain the characteristic value of the AC-WC mixture using the TamboIang mountain rock aggregate. The methods used are testing coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler, aspaI with the composition design of the aspaI content for AC-WC and then testing conventional marshaII as a determinant of the optimum asphalt content, after which the KAO specimen is made to obtain Remaining MarshaII Stability (SMS). The results of the aggregate characteristic test from the Tambolang mountain rock, North Toraja Regency have met the general specifications of Bina Marga as an AC-WC mixture where conventional marshaII testing with asphaIt content is 5.5%,6.0%, 6.5%, 7.0% , 7.5% and the resuIts of the MarshaII immersion test with KAO for AC-WC is 7.5% with the remaining MarshaII Stability (SMS) value of 96.52%. From the resuIts of this test, it can be concIuded that the aggregate from Mount Tambolang, has met the General Bina Marga Specifications 2018.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture where the materiaI used came from the Sadang River rock, Batupapan Sub-district, MakaIe District, which went through a Iaboratory testing process. In the Iaboratory, the tests carried out incIude testing the characteristics of the aggregate, which in this test can be further divided into 3 tests, nameIy testing the characteristics of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and fiIIer. After the aggregate characteristic test is carried out, the next test is the asphaIt characteristic test. Then do the design of the composition of the mixture in such a way as to get the totaI mixture to be made of the test object which is processed through ConventionaI MarshaII testing which aims to make KAO test objects. The KAO specimen that has been tested wiII be worked on to obtain the Remaining MarshaII StabiIity. From the MarshaII test resuIts, it was found that the vaIue for the characteristics of asphaIt was 5% to 7% which had passed the test based on the predetermined standard, nameIy the Bina Marga standard. So the use of aggregates from the Sadang River can be used for testing asphaIt mixtures. The yieId of residuaI MarshaII StabiIity (SMS) of 97.78% was obtained from the MarshaII immersion test and the optimum asphaIt content for AC-BC used was 6%. The concIusion that can be drawn is that the use of aggregates from the Sadang River, Batupapan Sub-district, MakaIe District, Tana Toraja meets the GeneraI Specifications of the 2018 Highways Specifications to become a materiaI that can be used in road pavement.

Abstract

Concrete waste in Indonesia in general has not been used properly and is left without any handling which will cause its own problems for the environment, therefore it needs processing so that it can be used as a more useful material. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the concrete waste to be used in the Stone Matrix Asphalt mixture, determine the composition of the Stone Matrix Asphalt mixture using concrete waste and determine the ability of the mixture to influence temperature and water after immersion. The research methodology uses the Conventional Marshall method to obtain the characteristics of the waste concrete used in the mixture of Stone Matrix Asphalt and Marshall Immersion to obtain the Marshall Residual stability value. The results showed that the aggregate characteristics of the waste concrete met the requirements for the mixture of road pavements. Based on the mixed composition design, the composition of the mixture obtained for asphalt content is 6.00%, coarse aggregate is 69.50%, fine aggregate is 16.00%, and filler is 8.50. The use of a mixture of Stone Matrix Asphalt Smooth through testing Characteristics of the Conventional Marshall mixture obtained Stability, Meltability (flow), Void In Mix (VIM), Void In Mix Aggregate (VMA) values, meet the specifications, Marshall Immersion test results obtained an immersion index of or Residual Strength 92.02% means that the mixture is resistant to the duration of immersion.

Abstract

Road construction generally uses materials that come from nature and until now almost all road infrastructure works have brought in materials from other places. This study was intended to test the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture using the Apanang River aggregate based on laboratory testing. The test method used is the conventional marshall test which is used to obtain the KAO value, after that, the test object is made for the KAO to obtain the Marshall Residual Stability. The test results show that the aggregate characteristics of the Apanang River, Soppeng Regency, meet the Bina Marga Specifications standard as an ingredient for the AC-BC mixture. In accordance with the results of the conventional Marshall test, the values of VIM, VMA, stability, flow and VFB meet the General Specifications of Highways in 2018. And from the results of the Marshall Immersion test, a value of 92.59% is obtained with an asphalt content of 6.00% and has met the General Specifications. Highways in 2018.

Abstract

Transportation infrastructure in the form of roads is one of the elements that is quite important in the development of an area that is experiencing very rapid development. Therefore, in the construction of road pavements, the best possible aggregate is obtained from the surrounding location which should be utilized as much as possible for the construction of road pavements. This study aims to determine the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture using the Sallo Patttejang river rock, Bungoro District, Pangkep Regency, to determine the composition of the AC-BC mixture and to determine the Marshall characteristics, the remaining Marshall stability in the AC-BC mixture. This research was conducted using the Marshall Method. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the KAO value is at 6% asphalt content, and the Stability value at KAO is 1544.13 Kg, VIM is 4.16%, flow is 2.50 mm, VMA is 17.21%, and VFB by 75.82%. These results indicate that all the characteristic parameters of the AC-BC mixture, namely stability, flow, VIM, VMA, and VFB all meet the General Specifications of Highways 2018.

Abstract

Asphalt mixtures can be modified by adding different types of mixtures, ranging from chemical additives, natural materials, and waste waste. This study was intended to find out the characteristics of ac-wc mixtures that use corn weevil ash into filler substitution material. The method used is to perform a series of characteristic tests of corn weevil ash fillers and then the manufacture of AC-WC mixed test objects and marshall testing. From testing the characteristics of the AC-WC mixture obtained Stability 0%-100%: 1110.17kg - 1436.40kg for Flow 0%-100% : 2.41mm - 3.47mm for VIM 0%-100% : 3.21% - 4.16% for VMAs 0%-100%: 14.56% - 15.72% and for VFB 0%-100% : 73.55% - 77.96%. From the test results it can be concluded that the mixture of AC-WC with the substitution of corn weevil ash fillers that meet the general specification of bina marga 2018 is from a rate of 0%-60%.
