Abstract

In this study, using the aggregate from the Mount Limbong stone for a mixture of coarse Stone Matrix Asphalt. The research objective was to determine the aggregate characteristics and composition of the crude SMA. The results showed that the characteristics of the pavement material in the form of Limbong mountain rock, Rantepao District, met the specifications as a road pavement coating material. Through the conventional Marshall test, the characteristics of the mixture of rough Stone Matrix Asphalt (SMA) mixture with asphalt content are 6.00%, 6.25%, 6.50%, 6.75%, and 7.00%. Marshall Immersion test results obtained Remaining Marshall Stability of 94.16% with asphalt content of 7.00% fulfilling the requirements, namely> 90% in accordance with the General Specifications of Bina Marga 2018.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the characteristics of the Mount Barani rock, determine the composition of the AC-BC mixture and the remaining Marshall Stability in the AC-BC mixture by referring to the 2018 General Specifications. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of the aggregates originating from Mount Barani, Manggau Village, have met specifications according to the 2018 Bina Marga Standard with a coarse aggregate composition design of 42.82%, 45.73% fine aggregate, 5.45% filler, and the optimum asphalt content is 6.00%. After doing the Conventional Marshall test, the characteristics of the asphalt mixture were obtained that had met all the standard specifications. Marshall Immersion (Marshall Stability Remaining) in the AC-BC mixture using the aggregate from Mount Barani, Manggau Village, meets the General Bina Marga 2018 standard / specification, which is at least 90%.

Abstract

Industrial development in Indonesia is very rapid and has a good impact on the economy of a region or country. However, the negative impact that can be generated from the industrial output is waste in a very large amount and not used for an activity that is beneficial to an area. The purpose of this study was to conduct tests to determine the utilization of Sorowako nickel waste in coarse asphalt stone matrix mixtures by using a variation of asphalt content of 6.00%; 6.25%; 6.50%; 6.75% and 7.00% and tested the efficacy of the mixture against the duration of immersion, temperature, and water. The method used is to perform various examinations and specific tests regarding the aggregate and then design the structure of the coarse SMA mixture and also the marshall examination to obtain the characteristics of the mixture and the marshall immertion examination to obtain the residual Marshall stability value using the optimum bitumen content. From the results of this study, it is known that the material in the form of nickel waste meets the standard requirements of the General Bina Marga 2018, and can be used as a mixture of road pavement. The asphalt content used in the Marshall SMA rough test was 6.00%, 6.250%, 6.50%, 6.75%, 7.00%. The marshall immertion value with a KOA value is 7.00% and the remaining marshall stability value is 95.55% which has met the requirements of the 2018 Highways General Specification, which is 90%.

Abstract

Technology Development and Innovation in the Revolutionary Era 4.0 is needed, especially in innovating the use of local materials. The Seriti River material in Lamasi Timur Subdistrict, Luwu Regency, has great potential if it is used as material in road pavements, but until now these materials have been used only to build residential houses for local communities. The purpose of this study was to test the characteristics of the material, to analyze the AC-BC mixture using material from the Seriti river, Luwu Regency with variations in asphalt content of 5.00% 5.50% 6.00% 6.50% and 7.00% and to determine the resistance of the mixture. against temperature and water immersion with the Marshall Time Stability test. The results showed that the characteristics of the aggregate originating from the Seriti River, Luwu Regency, meet the specification standard as an AC_BC material. The composition design of the AC-BC mixture obtained the proportion of coarse aggregate 42.82%, thirsty aggregate 45.73%, filler 5.45% with optimum aspaI content of 6.00%. In this study, the Seriti River aggregate of Luwu Regency was used in the AC-BC mixture so that the aggregate characteristics must be known first. The characteristics of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, asphalt and filler must meet the requirements contained in the General Specifications of Bina Marga 2018, therefore a series of Characteristics tests were carried out before designing the composition of the AC-BC mixture for the manufacture of AC-BC mixture test specimens. The test object will then be tested by Marshall to determine the characteristics of the AC-BC mixture. Through the MarshalI Immertion test, the residual MarshalI stability results were 96.61% with an aspiration level of 6.00%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini memanfaatkan agregat Sungai Meli untuk mengetahui konfigurasi campuran AC-WC serta dapat mengetahui karakteristik darinMarshall, Stabilitas Marshall yang tersisa pada campuran “AC-WC” dengan Spesifikasi Umum 2018 (Revisi 6) Departemen Umum Republik Indonesia dan Standar Pengujian SNI. Metode yang dibuat pada penelltian berupa karakteristik agregat halus, filler, agregat kasar serta aspal kemudian menyusun konfigurasincampuran lalu membentuk bendanuji, serta pengujian Marshall Konvensional. Dalam pembuatan benda uji metode KAO digunakan untuk mendapatkan Stabilitas Marshall Sisa (SMS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rencana konfigurasi yang terdapat dalam campuran “AC-WC” yang memakai bahannSungai Melli, merupakan, agregat halus 50,30%, filler 5,80%, agregat kasarn36,90%, dengan ketentuan ukuran kadarnaspal minimum 7,00%. dan nilai akhir dari pengujian MarshallnImmersion (Stabilitas Marshall Sisa) dengan campurannLaston Lapis Aus yang memakai agregatnSungai Melli mematuhi persyaratan Umum BinanMarga 2018, yaitu 97,72 % > 90n%.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini, agregat yang digunakan dalam campuran laston lapis antara yaitu agregat yang berasal dari sungaii Balebo kecamatan Masamba sehingga perlu diuji karakteristik agregatnya. Metode yang digunakan daIam peneIitian ini antara Iain menguji karakteristik agregat kasar, agregat haIus, aspal dan fiIIer dan harus memenuhi persyaratan yang mengacu pada spesifikasi umum Bina Marga 2018 (Revisi 6) Departemen Umum Republik Indonesia dan standard pengujian SNI, untuk itu dilakukan beberapa pengujian karakteristik sebelum melakukan rancangan komposisi campuran laston lapis antara untuk pembuatan benda uji campuran laston lapis antara. Setelah itu benda uji akan di uji Marshall untuk mengetahui karakteristik dari campuran laston lapis antara tersebut. Nilai Stabilitas Marshall sisa didapatkan melalui pengujian Marshall Imertion yang menggunakan kadar aspal optimum (KAO) dari hasil pengujian Marshall. Hasil penelitian karakteristik bahan parkerasan yang digunakan telah memenuhi persyaratan yang mengacu pada spesifikasi umum Bina Marga 2018 melalui hasil penelitian ini memperlihatkan bahwa agregat sungai balebo kecamatan masamba dapat digunakan sebagai bahan lapisan perkerasan jalan campuran laston lapis antara. Karakteristik campuran laston lapis antara didapatkan melalui pengujian Marshall dengan kadar aspal 5,00%, 5,50%, 6,00%, 6,50% , 7,00%. Pada kadar aspal optimum 6,00 % didapatkan nilai Stabilitas Marshall Sisa yaitu 96,87 % yang telah IoIos persyaratan yaitu ≥90 %.

Abstract

PeneIitian ini dimaksud untuk melakukan pengujian karakteristik Stone Matrix AsphaIt yang menggunakan batu Sungai Sibangke Kabupaten Toraja Utara. MetodoIogi yang dilakukan peneIitian ini ada beberapa tahapan pengujian karakteristik agregat kasar, agregat haIus dan filIer. setelah itu dilakukan perancang proporsi campuran Stone Matrix AsphaIt seIanjutnya dilakukan uji marshaIl untuk menghasilkan karakteristik campuran yang sesuai dan melakukan pengujian MarshalI lmmersion untuk mendapatkan stabilitas marshall sisa / durabiIitas berkadar aspaI optimum. Dari peneIitian yang diIakukan di laboratorium, menunjukan hasil karakteristik agregat dari batu Sungai Sibangke Kabupaten Toraja Utara, sudah memenuhi spesifikasi sebagai bahan Iapisan perkerasan jaIan. maka selanjutnya dilakukan uji Marshall konvensionaI dengan rancangan campuran Stone Matrix AsphaIt menggunakan kadar aspaI 6,00 %, 6,25 %, 6,50 %, 6,75 % dan 7,00 %. Dari hasiI pengujian MarshaIl lmmersion campuran Stone Matrix AsphaIt dengan kadar aspaI optimaI 7,00 % diperoIeh stabilitas marshaIl sisa / durabiIitas sebesar 96,81% memenuhi syarat tersebut adaIah minimaI 90 %, memenuhi Spesifikasi Umum Bina Marga 2018.

Abstract

Highway is part of the Science of Civil Engineering and always develops over time. In increasing the provision of land transportation, roads are important infrastructure that must be considered in development. The availability of adequate road infrastructure will have a positive impact on the development of community activities from the economic, political, social, cultural, defense and security aspects of the country.This research was intended to utilize Masuppu River Stones in Masanda Subdistrict as a mixture of AC-WC. The methodoIogy in this research is to conduct a series of tests for the characteristics of coarse, fine, and fiIIer aggregates, then design the composition of the Laston AC-WC mixture and the Marshall test to obtain the characteristics of the mixture and the MarshaII immersion test to obtain the immersion index (IP) / residuaI strength index (IKS) / durabiIity of the mixture with optimum asphaIt content. The results of research carried out at the Laboratory of Engineering and AspaI Functions of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering, Christian University of Indonesia, PauIus Makassar, show that the characteristics of the pavement material in the form of Masuppu River rock, Masanda District, meet the specifications as a road pavement coating material.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the aggregate characteristic value, the AC-BC mixture design, and the Marshall stability value of the remaining AC-BC mixture design through the Conventional Marshall and Marshall Immersion testing with reference to the 2018 General specifications (Division 6) of the Ministry of PubIic Works and PubIic Housing of the RepubIic of lndonesia. and SNI Testing Standards. Before designing the composition for Conventional Marshall testing and making test specimens to obtain residual Marshall stability, the first thing to do is test the characteristics of coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, and asphalt (filler).The results of this study indicate that the material from Mount Tambolang Toraja Utara fulfills the requirements set in the 2018 General Highways specification. Based on the composition of the AC-BC mixture using material from Mount Tambolang, namely coarse aggregate 42.82%, fine aggregate 45 , 73%, filler material 5.45%, with an optimum aspaI content of 6%. After doing the Conventional Marshall test, the results obtained, the test meets the specifications on testing flow, stability, VMA, VIM and VFB. While the remaining Marshall stability using material from Mount Tambolang, North Toraja District, meets the requirements of the 2018 General Bina Marga Specifications, namely 96.29%> 90%.

Abstract

This study is to get character each of Laston base mixture using the Mount Pura Lau stone, Tikala District. The methodology in this study is to test each character of the sample to be tested for its, whether it is coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, filler, and asphalt. After testing each character, we will design the composition of the mixture for the manufacture of rough Laston Base (AC-BASE) specimens and obtain several variants of asphalt content, namely 4.5%, 5%, 5.55%, 6%, and 6.5%. After getting the composition, the test object will be made immediately. After the object has been made, it is time to test with Marshall test tool to obtain the residual Marshall Immersion / Stability Index (SMS) or the durability of the mixture using the optimum bitumen content. The results of the optimum asphalt content were 5.5%, MQ 906.88 Kg / mm and immersion index (IP) 96.06% which showed that met the requirements, namely 90% and meets the specifications of Bina Marga. So that it can be used as a recommendation to the regional government and local residents.
