Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kompetensi terhadap kinerja pengrajin di UMKM Galeri Songket Warna Alam Kota Palembang. Kompetensi yang meliputi pengetahuan, keterampilan, kemampuan, sifat, dan motif dianggap sebagai faktor utama dalam menentukan kinerja individu di tempat kerja. Dalam industri songket, keberhasilan memerlukan kombinasi keterampilan teknis, seperti produksi dan desain, serta keterampilan non-teknis, termasuk komunikasi dan kewirausahaan. Data yang dikumpulkan pada bulan Januari hingga Juni 2024 menunjukkan adanya peningkatan penggunaan bahan kain kempa sutra dan spunsilk serta teknik pembuatan songket. Namun fluktuasi penerapan teknik coban dan penurunan jumlah pegawai yang mengikuti pelatihan menunjukkan adanya tantangan dalam penguasaan teknik dan materi. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi perlunya pengembangan kompetensi lebih lanjut untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai, dengan fokus pada aspek teknis dan pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagaimana kompetensi mempengaruhi kinerja dalam konteks UMKM dan memberikan rekomendasi peningkatan melalui pengembangan kompetensi yang lebih efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of product quality and content marketing on the purchasing decisions of Wardah products among Generation Z consumers in Palembang City. The phenomenon observed is that Gen Z tends to make purchasing decisions based on social media content rather than product quality, as they are a generation highly active on social media. Therefore, digital marketing strategies through content marketing are highly relevant. The research employed a quantitative approach using the SEM-PLS technique on 104 Gen Z respondents who had previously purchased Wardah products and engaged with its social media content. The findings reveal that both product quality and content marketing significantly influence purchasing decisions, with product quality exerting a more dominant effect. This study provides practical contributions for companies in developing effective and relevant digital marketing strategies, as well as serving as an academic reference in the study of digital consumer behavior.

Abstract

Mathematics instruction in higher education is increasingly delivered through offline, online, and blended modalities, each characterized by distinct assessment practices. However, the heterogeneity of these instructional arrangements often results in inconsistent learning outcomes and poses challenges for valid measurement of student performance. This study examines the interaction between learning modality—specifically blended learning—and assessment type on students’ mathematics achievement, while explicitly controlling for initial mathematical ability. A quasi-experimental design employing a three-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was conducted with first-year Informatics Engineering students at Universitas Bina Darma, Indonesia. Descriptive statistics (minimum, maximum, mean, median, mode, variance, and standard deviation) were computed to summarize the data, followed by inferential analyses testing main, interaction, and simple effects. The results revealed a significant interaction effect between blended learning and assessment type, moderated by students’ initial mathematical ability. Students with high prior mathematical ability achieved superior outcomes when participating in blended learning combined with online assessment compared to offline assessment. Similarly, students with low prior mathematical ability demonstrated better performance under online assessment conditions than in offline contexts. Overall, these findings indicate that the integration of online assessment within blended learning environments can enhance student engagement and mathematics achievement across varying ability levels. The results carry important implications for the instructional design and assessment strategies employed in university-level mathematics education.
