Abstract

Indonesia is rich with many cases and big scandals that connected to white collar crime, even that occurred in capital market, at a bank, or the other sector. One of big cases, which cause contraversion in perception of Indonesian People, is presumption of accounting manipulation report from Lippo Bank Direction. The proof cause Bapepam imposes a fine in the amount for 2.5 billion rupiahs to Lippo Bank Direction. However, it is not a simply case because it is still have another law implication from imposition of fine so that it is important to make criminal policy to solve Lippo Bank Scandal. Abstract

The law should be fair and struggle for the justice. Yet, the error catching is dark side for the application of law by apparatus especially for policeman. Because of that, improving and increasing the system of law is really crucial for our country especially for the criminal policy. Abstract

This article will discuss the reform of law in Indonesia, especially that of related to law conflict resolution. Law is a complex system. Linkages between the elements can not be separated. Law is not just the law. The law is not always a command of the State authorities. Law is the result of social forces and means of social control. On the other side, politics often intervene on the act and the implementation of the law. Law can be viewed and studied from various angles. Abstract

Basically, all policemen have the main duties to maintain social order and security, to enforce the rule, and to give the best service to all citizens (society). But, in fact, most of them did not do their duties well and, moreover, they often arrest people who did not do any guilt at all. In some cases, many people were often forced to admit the guilt that they have never done at all. This article tries to discuss the issues related to the mistake or misjudgment of the policemen in catching or arresting people. Kata Kunci: Masyarakat,  Polisi, Hukum, Peradilan, Pidana, Kasus
