Abstract

Water is a very important material in life so that the quality must meet the requirements as clean water and the requirements for drinking water. This study aims to determine the total value of coliform bacteria in the water of public water reservoirs in the Taraju village of kuningan district. The method used in this study is the description of the observation method, and the total coliform value test in this study using the Most Probable Number (MPN) method series 3-3-3. The water samples used was taken from 4 public water reservoirs in the Taraju village. The results of the study of 4 reservoir water samples showed coliform bacteria in the estimation and confirmation test which was characterized by gas and acid formation, and of all the samples tested showed the value of coliform bacteria ≤50/100 mL. The conclusion is that the water of public water reservoirs in Taraju village contains Coliform bacteria so that it does not meet the quality requirements of drinking water, but qualifies as clean water in accordance with the Minister of Health Regulation No.416/MEN.KES/PER/ IX/1990.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the themes of flora and fauna motifs on Hindu temples during the Srivijaya period as part of the study of the history and art of religious architecture. The main objective is to understand how these motifs reflect the cosmology and spiritual values ​​of Hindu society during that period. The research methods used include descriptive analysis of temple reliefs in Sumatra, literature review of archaeological sources, and comparison with motifs on other Hindu temples in Southeast Asia. This analysis technique involves detailed observation of floral elements such as leaves, lotus flowers, and trees, as well as fauna such as birds, snakes, and mythological animals, which are often found on temple reliefs. The discussion focuses on the symbolic meaning of these motifs, where flora is often associated with fertility and life, while fauna symbolizes strength and wisdom. This study also discusses how these motifs function as a medium to convey spiritual values ​​and emphasize the harmonious relationship between humans and nature. The conclusion of this study shows that the flora and fauna motifs on Srivijaya Hindu temples not only function as aesthetic elements, but also have deep religious meanings. These motifs provide important insights into how the Srivijaya people combined their beliefs with a respect for nature, as well as their contribution to the understanding of Hindu history and culture in the archipelago.

Abstract

Many students still have difficulty developing their ideas about explanatory texts while undergoing the learning process in class. This study aims to analyze the needs of students and teachers for the development of learning media in the form of animation writing explanatory texts based on problem-solving. This research is qualitative research that analyzes the first and design stages of research and development. The things that were analyzed were the needs of students and teachers for animated learning media to write problem-solving-based explanatory texts. From the data collected through questionnaires and interviews with 33 students and 1 Indonesian teacher. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The research results show that animated learning media about problem-solving-based explanatory text writing can be an innovative medium for learning activities and can support students' and teachers' needs. This learning media is beneficial for both parties and can be accessed offline. Thus, learning media can be an alternative for the needs of teachers and students in learning and teaching writing explanatory texts.

Abstract

The ability to write persuasive texts is a skill that is not easy to master. The low level of students' understanding and memory of the material taught orally and in writing. In addition, the lack of learning resources is also an obstacle for students in learning. This study aims to develop a persuasive text writing book and analyze the potential effects of a persuasive text writing book. This research method uses the Jolly and Bolitho and Tesmer development model. This research is research and development research. Methods This research adapts the Jolly and Bolitho development and Tessmer development models. Data collection techniques used three techniques, questionnaire techniques, interviews, and tests. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative analysis quantitative and inferential statistics. The study results, the expert validation assessment, obtained very good results from content, language, presentation, and graphics feasibility. The field test results through the paired simple test showed a significant difference between the scores before and after using this developed textbook. It was concluded that writing persuasive textbooks could make it easier for students to understand writing to improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini berangkat dari analisis situasi yang mengidentifikasi mayoritas guru masih memiliki pemahaman yang rendah mengenai bagaimana merancang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dalam rangka meujudkan merdeka belajar kurikulum merdeka. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam mendesain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Metode dan bentuk kegiatan pengabdian sesuai dengan tujuan kegiatan meliputi 3 langkah kegiatan, yaitu pertama; pelatihan terbimbing  peningkatan pengetahuan  dan pemahaman guru tentang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi (konsep, prinsip, karakteristik pembelajaran), dan desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, kedua; simulasi pembuatan desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, ketiga; observasi dan evaluasi  dan presentasi produk desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Yang menjadi sasaran kegiatan pembinaan dan pelatihan ini adalah guru-guru Sejarah Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) yang tergabung dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran  Sejarah SMA Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Target dari pelaksanaaan PPM ini adalah peserta pembinaan dan pelatihan mampu merancang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi sebagai upaya perbaikan dan peningkatan kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan pembinaan dan pelatihan menyimpulkan guru peserta pelatihan dan pendampingan sudah mememilki pengetahuan yang baik tentang desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Perbandingan hasil pre test dan post test menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan  dengan nilai n gain sebesar 63 % (kategori cukup efektif).  Hasil observasi terhadap produk desain pembelajaran yang dibuat, sebagian besar (94,11 persen)  peserta pelatihan sudah mampu mengintegarasikan aspek aspek  desain pembelajaran berdiferensiasi (konten, proses, produk dan lingkungan belajar) dalam desain pembelajaran yang dibuat. Peserta pelatihan juga mampu membuat instrumen untuk mengetahui profil peserta didik  yang meliputi minat  belajar, kemampuan belajar, kesiapan belajar, dan  modalitas/gaya belajar sebagai hal penting dilakukan dalam  merancang pembelajaran berdiferensiasi.

Abstract

Pelatihan ini didasarkan adanya keharusan bagi orang tua untuk membekali anak-anak seputar ilmu agama melalui pengetahuan tentang parenting islami. Tujuannya meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan orang tua dalam menerapkan pola asuh Islami dalam Mewujudkan Keluarga Sakinah Mawaddah Warrahmah di Majlis Taklim Al- Hidayah Kec. Gandus. Pelatihan Parenting Islami ini menggunakan metode kombinasi berupa penyampaian materi, simulasi, pendampingan intensif, interaksi aktif, dan penugasan. Rangkaian kegiatan pelatihan terdiri dari tes awal, penyampaian materi, simulasi, dan tes akhir. Hasil pelatihan ini menunjukkan kontribusi yang baik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan ibu- ibu dalam memahami parenting Islami ditunjukan berupa angket dari 25 peserta dengan persentase 91 %, sehingga pelatihan parenting Islami dinilai efektif untuk mewujudkan keluarga yang sakinnah, mawaddah, warrahmah.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kapabilitas dan penggajian terhadap kinerja karyawan di PT. Hafis Nuryatama Konstruksi Cilegon. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain deskriptif korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui survei yang melibatkan 57 responden yang dipilih secara acak. Penelitian ini berfokus pada dua variabel utama, yaitu kapabilitas yang mencakup keterampilan dan pengetahuan karyawan, serta penggajian yang mencakup struktur gaji dan insentif yang diterima oleh karyawan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua variabel tersebut memiliki pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan. Kapabilitas karyawan berhubungan langsung dengan peningkatan produktivitas dan kualitas kerja, sementara penggajian yang adil dan kompetitif mampu meningkatkan motivasi serta komitmen karyawan terhadap pekerjaan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan kapabilitas karyawan melalui pelatihan yang tepat serta pengelolaan penggajian yang baik memiliki kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan di PT. Hafis Nuryatama Konstruksi Cilegon.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of training and work placement on employee performance at PT Samator Gas Industri Cilegon Branch. The method used was quantitative with a multiple linear regression approach, involving 36 employees as a sample. The regression results showed that training had a significant effect on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.506 and a significance value of 0.000, which means that better training can improve employee performance. Meanwhile, job placement also has a significant influence on employee performance with a regression coefficient of 0.329 and a significance value of 0.000. The results of the simultaneous test (F Test) showed an F value of 45.665 with a significance value of 0.000, which means that the two independent variables, namely training and work placement, had a simultaneous significant effect on employee performance. With an R Square of 0.735, the model was able to explain about 73.5% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 26.5% was influenced by other factors that were not studied. Based on these results, it is recommended that companies improve training and job placement programs to match employees' skills and needs to improve their performance

Abstract

TEACHER PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT: SCIENTIFIC WORK WRITING TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE FOR SMP TEACHERS IN MUARA ENIM DISTRICT This service activity aims to make junior high school teachers in Muaraenim Regency have the ability to write scientific papers. In addition, this activity is also part of their professional development activities. The methods used are presentations, discussions, demonstrations, and recitations, and joint corrections, and revisions. Presentations, discussions, and demonstrations are intended to provide knowledge and insight along with concrete examples of the provisions of writing scientific papers in detail, section by section; also given an example of how to turn a research report into a paper or article that is ready to be published in a scientific journal. Recitation or assignment is a practice activity to make or change the form of research reports into scientific papers and scientific journal articles. This exercise is done individually and the results are discussed online via zoom or google meeting. Each participant was asked to present their work and then corrected it together by colleagues and instructors. Based on these corrections, the participants then revise their work so that they become scientific papers and/or articles that are ready to be sent/printed. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes from training and mentoring in writing scientific papers for 19 participants. At the beginning and end of the activity, a test was conducted in the form of self-reflection on aspects of scientific writing. The result is that there is an increase in the participant's ability to write rich scientifically before and after the activity with an N-gain of 0.58 which means moderate.
