Abstract

Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) membuat perancangan atau pendesainan bahan ajar materi bahasa berbasis pendekatan struktural; (2) melaksanakan  prosedur operasional bahan ajar materi bahasa berbasis pendekatan struktural; (3) menganalisis efektifitas penerapan bahan ajar materi bahasa berbasis pendekatan struktural. Pengumpulan data penelitian meliputi observasi, angket, dan wawancara. Instrumen pengembangan model adalah dengan one two one dan angket uji lapangan. Dengan pendekatan struktural bahasa dengan prosedur penelitian pengembangan (RnD), diperoleh bahan ajar materi bahasa Indonesia MI berbasis pendekatan struktural bahasa untuk tingkat dasar. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II yang mengikuti MK Materi  Bahasa Indonesia MI di Program Studi PGMI FITK UIN Raden Fatah Palembang. Dari uji lapangan diperoleh hasil bahwa Bahan ajar berbasis pendekatan struktural pada materi ajar mata pelajaran bahasa di PGMI FITK UIN Raden Fatah Palembang yang dikembangkan efektif pada hasil belajar mahasiswa. Hal ini berdasarkan nilai rata-rata hasil tes atau evaluasi akhir pada saat field test.

Abstract

Implementasi  nilai kearifan lokal  melalui cerita  rakyat telah banyak dilakukan, seperti identifikasi dan dokumentasi, ataupun penelitian sastra murni. Upaya tersebut hanya sampai  pada tahap bidang keilmuan sastra, pendidikan bahasa dan sastra ataupun  kajian histori.  Padahal, era saat ini agar cerita rakyat tetap eksis harus bertransformasi  ke arah  digital. Untuk dapat bertransformasi  dengan baik,  cerita  rakyat Pulo Kemaro perlu dibuat dalam bentuk komik digital. Dengan pemanfaatan IPTEK saat ini, cerita rakyat Pulo Kemaro dapat diadaptasikan ke dalam komik digital sehingga dapat lebih mudah diakses, biaya lebih terjangkau, dan wawasan yang berkembang lebih luas. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik analisis data melalui nilai-nilai kearifan lokal dan pendekatan perancangan komik digital. Dasar perancangan mengacu pada data berupa desain karakter tokoh  dan unsur storytelling melalui komik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, pertama,  nilai-nilai kearifan lokal yang terdapat pada karakter dalam cerita rakyat Pulo Kemaro  ialah nilai sosial, nilai estetika,  nilai ekonomi, nilai budaya, dan  nilai politik. Komik Pulo Kemaro mengedepankan nilai sosial dan politik dalam penceritaan. Kedua, perancangan komik digital dapat meningkatkan pendekatan aspek storytelling dalam pembuatan naskah komik yang dapat menghadirkan pesan-pesan yang terkandung dalam nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Ketiga, komik ini dikembangkan dalam perancangan di media digital instagram dan youtube sehingga dapat dengan mudah diakses oleh masyarakat, khususnya generasi muda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran audiovisual berbasis aplikasi renderforest pada materi menulis puisi untuk siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 6 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode research and development (R&D) dengan metode pengembangan Allensi & Trollip (planning, design, dan development). Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi kuesioner, wawancara dengan siswa dan guru, serta validasi oleh para ahli. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa angket tertutup memperoleh skor 85,1% yang menunjukkan bahwa media sangat dibutuhkan. Didukung dengan angket terbuka yang menyatakan bahwa siswa membutuhkan media audiovisual renderforest dalam pembelajaran menulis puisi. Validasi kelayakan dilakukan oleh ahli materi, bahasa, dan media. Hasil validasi materi memperoleh skor 44 dari 48 (95,8%), ahli bahasa 47 dari 52 (90,3%), dan ahli media 42 dari 44 (93,3%). Media ini telah melalui tahapan revisi berdasarkan masukkan dari para ahli, sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran yang interatif dan efektif.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of digital literacy into BIPA (Bahasa Indonesia bagi Penutur Asing—Indonesian for Foreign Learners) instruction as a strategy to promote the comprehensive skill development of international students, encompassing linguistic, digital, and intercultural competencies. Employing a corpus-based qualitative approach, the research focuses on the analysis of authentic digital communication products created by foreign students through task-based learning activities. The corpus consists of multimodal texts—including blog entries, podcast transcripts, infographics, and interactive digital posters—collected from intermediate-level BIPA students at universities at South Sumatra. The findings reveal three key insights. First, linguistically, students demonstrate improvements in sentence structure, thematic vocabulary (culture, society, technology), and pragmatic appropriateness in digital contexts. Second, in terms of digital literacy, students effectively utilise various platforms (Padlet, Canva, and Flipgrid) to construct and deliver messages creatively, interactively, and in alignment with audience expectations. Third, interculturally, students exhibit the ability to interpret local communication norms, avoid cultural faux pas, and present cross-cultural perspectives through their digital narratives. Corpus analysis also indicates a shift in learners’ roles—from passive recipients of information to reflective, collaborative, and globally connected content creators. This study highlights the potential of integrating digital literacy into BIPA instruction to foster essential 21st-century competencies. The findings provide a valuable foundation for developing a BIPA curriculum that is responsive to both digital transformation and the cultural diversity of international students.

Abstract

TEACHER PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT: SCIENTIFIC WORK WRITING TRAINING AND ASSISTANCE FOR SMP TEACHERS IN MUARA ENIM DISTRICT This service activity aims to make junior high school teachers in Muaraenim Regency have the ability to write scientific papers. In addition, this activity is also part of their professional development activities. The methods used are presentations, discussions, demonstrations, and recitations, and joint corrections, and revisions. Presentations, discussions, and demonstrations are intended to provide knowledge and insight along with concrete examples of the provisions of writing scientific papers in detail, section by section; also given an example of how to turn a research report into a paper or article that is ready to be published in a scientific journal. Recitation or assignment is a practice activity to make or change the form of research reports into scientific papers and scientific journal articles. This exercise is done individually and the results are discussed online via zoom or google meeting. Each participant was asked to present their work and then corrected it together by colleagues and instructors. Based on these corrections, the participants then revise their work so that they become scientific papers and/or articles that are ready to be sent/printed. The results of the service showed that there was an increase in learning outcomes from training and mentoring in writing scientific papers for 19 participants. At the beginning and end of the activity, a test was conducted in the form of self-reflection on aspects of scientific writing. The result is that there is an increase in the participant's ability to write rich scientifically before and after the activity with an N-gain of 0.58 which means moderate.

Abstract

The ‘Minutes of English Songs’ program aimed at helping teachers in maximizing students' vocabulary acquisition in primary schools. Through a music-based learning method, it was designed using English children's songs with simple lyrics to introduce new vocabulary in a contextual and fun way. This activity involved students of SDN 1 Talang Kelapa as participants of the Community Service activity in understanding, remembering, and applying vocabulary through structured activities, including singing, translating lyrics, moving limbs, repeating lyrics, and multiple-choice question exercises. A quasi-experimental method was used to evaluate the effectiveness of the program, with a pre-test and post-test to measure the improvement in students' vocabulary acquisition. The results of the program showed that there was a significant improvement in students' vocabulary skills after attending the program, with an average pre-test score of 55%, which increased to 85% in the post-test. In addition to vocabulary improvement, students also showed increased confidence in speaking English and had positive perceptions of the program. The findings suggested that a music-based approach can be an effective alternative in teaching English vocabulary at the primary school level. The program is expected to be applied more widely as an innovative effort to improve students' vocabulary acquisition in a fun way.
