Paradigma kritis merupakan perspektif kritis dalam memikirkan sesuatu. Paradigma kritis dalam bidang pendidikan/ pedagogi, terdapat pedagogi kritis yang memandang bahwa pendidikan adalah proses pemberdayaan. Oleh karena itu, siswa dipandang sebagai subjek yang memiliki kemandirian dan kebebasan dalam taraf tertentu terhadap apa yang ingin dicapainya dan bagaimana cara mencapainya. Hubungan guru-siswa bersifat dialogis dan saling menghargai. Dalam bidang linguistik, paradigma kritis terwujud dalam analisis wacana kritis yang merupakan epistemologi kewacanaan untuk menemukan ideologi yang tersembunyi dari suatu praktik wacana. Dalam pembelajaran bahasa, pedagogi kritis dan analisis wacana kritis dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran bahasa. Caranya adalah dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip paradigma kritis itu dalam praktik pembelajaran di kelas.

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku ajar kontekstual yang valid, praktis, dan mempunyai efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar. Prosedur penelitian menggunakan model pengembangan Rowntree, yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu: perencanaan, pengembangan, dan evaluasi. Tahap evaluasi menggunakan model evaluasi formatif Tessmer yang terdiri dari lima tahap, yaitu: self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one evaluation, small group evaluation, dan field test. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 3 Muaradua. Penelitian ini dinyatakan valid karena expert review menyatakan buku ajar yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan, yang kemudian diujicobakan pada tahap one-to-one evaluation. Pada tahap small group evaluation, hasil angket peserta didik terhadap buku ajar sebesar 77,26% dalam kategori praktis. Hasil field test menunjukkan nilai 81,42 yang dikategorikan baik dan seluruh peserta didik (100%) mencapai nilai KKM yaitu 70. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa buku ajar yang dikembangkan dinyatakan valid, praktis dan mempunyai efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran Trans Sector terhadap kemampuan menulis surat pembaca siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 18 Palembang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen semu. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas IX.8 yang berjumlah 39 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX.9 yang berjumlah 39 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen merupakan kelas yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan model pembelajaran Trans Sector sedangkan kelas kontrol merupakan kelas dengan model pembelajaran konvensional. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes tertulis dan teknik pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan uji-t dengan program SPSS 22. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan hasil tes antara kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol. Nilai rata-rata tes awal kelas eksperimen 67,62 dan kelas kontrol 65,21. Sementara nilai rata-rata tes akhir kelas eksperimen 78,00 dan kelas kontrol 72,33. Dari hasil perhitungan uji-t membuktikan bahwa thitung > ttabel = 3,338 > 1,992 dengan df = 76 pada tingkat signifikansi 95% (a = 0,025). Dengan demikian, Ha yang berbunyi “Ada perbedaan kemampuan menulis surat pembaca antara siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 18 Palembang yang menggunakan model pembelajaran Trans Sector dengan siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 18 Palembang yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional” diterima maka dapat disimpulkan model pembelajaran Trans Sector berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan menulis surat pembaca siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 18 Palembang.

ABSTRACT: The research is aiming at exploring the utilization of technology at both Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sriwijaya University and Faculty of Arts and Education within Deakin Universit.The data was collected through the interview with the lecturers and also the field observation. On this faculty, the BI learning program is organized in two modes: on campus and off campus. Based on the observation and interview, it could be identified that 1) Learning activity: Mode off campus 2) Classroom Management is conducted individually or in group and a virtual meeting with the instructor and or via video conference 3) Devices utilized by the students were hardware and software with certain specification, 4) Application/software utilized was adopted package software, 5) Learning material was developed by the instructors, 6) Supported crew was the IT staff, and 7) Instructur in the learning activity was still required with different role as the learning material developer. This study aims to develop learning media to analyze the building blocks of poetry by using sparkol videoscribe in 10th grade students. This research is a development research (R&D). This research method is used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products. Data collection techniques used were interviews, questionnaires, and learning outcomes tests. The data analysis technique was carried out by analyzing the questionnaire which was seen from the results of the high and low percentage of the needs desired by students and the next teacher. Based on the results of product trials, it shows an increase in learning outcomes of 36.76, with a pretest mean of 41.96 while postest was 78.92. Based on these findings it can be concluded that the development of learning media to analyze the building blocks of poetry using sparkol videoscribe has an effect on the learning outcomes of 10th grade students.

Professional educators should be able to develop teaching materials to cope with the 2013 curriculum learning objectives in any given learning circumstances. Their preparedness to carry out the teaching-learning process could be assisted by applying teaching materials that are in line with the 2013 curriculum. This research aims to conduct a need analysis survey from various research stages and development stages to develop and validate the product and to determine what kind of teaching materials. The applied stages of a research and development study consist of (1) instructional process identification, (2) the analysis of the targeted learning outcomes, and (3) the analysis of the learners and their needs. The research location was in Public Senior High School 3 Prabumulih, Southern Sumatera Province. The subjects consisted of tenth graders with a population of 185 learners and 2 Indonesian language teachers. The numbers of the sample were 28 learners or 15% of the population. The first technique to collect the data was a questionnaire of the learnersâ€™ needs and the interview. Based on the findings and discussion, the recommended student worksheet by the researchers was an exposition-student worksheet with a scientific plus approach. With this student worksheet, the learners could train their skills and seek accurate information to be expressed in their exposition text. On the other hand, the teachers could also monitor and facilitate the learners to construct their knowledge about the text.

The lack of learning media that facilitates students causes students to experience difficulties in learning. In addition, teachers still have difficulty presenting material for writing fantasy story texts and teachers use learning only to provide material, not at the evaluation stage. This has an impact on students' lack of understanding. This study analyses the validity of the learning media based on the alpha test, the practicality of the learning media and the effectiveness of the learning media. This type of research is development research. The model used to develop the media is Alessi and Trolip (2001), consisting of planning, design and development stages. Data was collected through expert review, interviews, and tests. The research subjects were nine experts, which included media experts, material experts, and linguists. The product trial subjects were 32 students. The technique used to analyze the data is descriptive qualitative and quantitative analysis. The alpha test results showed the validity of the learning media of 92.50% with a very appropriate category. Beta test results show the practicality of the product is 85.49%, with an excellent category. It can be concluded that scientific-based learning media plus using adobe flash can be applied in learning to write fantasy story texts. This research implies that teachers in learning can use the developed media.

This study aims to describe the needs of teachers and students, design a textbook for writing persuasion texts, the results of expert validation and determine the potential effects of textbooks on writing persuasion texts. This research method uses the Jolly and Bolitho and Tesmer development model. The stages of this development are identification of the need for textbooks, exploration of the need for textbooks, realization of contextual textbooks, realization of pedagogical textbooks, producing textbooks, expert validation, revision and field trials. The expert validation assessment obtained results 4.2 from content eligibility, 4.5 from language, 3.4 from presentation and 4.6 from graphics and were declared very valid. The results of the field test through the paired simple test showed the value of writing persuasion text on the theme of education, namely -17.038 significance (2-tailed) of 0.00. The value of writing persuasion text on the health theme is -31.92, a significance (2-tailed) of 0.00. The value of writing persuasion text on the theme of advertising / advertising is -23.385 significance (2-tailed) of 0.00. It is concluded that there is a significant difference between the values before and after using this developed textbook.

This research discusses the transformation of Islamic Religious Education learning in the era of Merdeka Curriculum, focusing on the creativity of Islamic Religious Education teachers at SMAN 2 Lubuk Dalam, Riau Province. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method to describe changes and innovations in teaching Islamic Religious Education. The research subject was the Islamic Education teacher at the school. Data were collected through three main methods: observation, interview, and documentation, to get a comprehensive picture of learning practices. To ensure the validity and credibility of the data, this study used triangulation techniques. The results of the study are expected to provide insight into how Islamic Religious Education teachers adapt and apply creativity in their teaching in accordance with the demands of Merdeka Curriculum or this term is known as differentiated learning.
