Abstract

The availability of adequate educational facilities and infrastructure plays an important role in supporting an effective and comfortable learning process. This study aims to examine the influence of facility and infrastructure availability on the learning satisfaction of Package C students at PKBM Nurul Islam Karawang. The research employs a quantitative descriptive approach with simple random sampling. The population consisted of 102 students from grades X, XI, and XII, with a sample size of 51 determined by the Slovin formula. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with simple linear regression. The results showed a t-value of 6.455 and a significance level of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect of facility and infrastructure availability on learning satisfaction. The coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.54, meaning that 54% of the variation in learning satisfaction is explained by the availability of facilities and infrastructure. This study highlights the importance of quality facilities and infrastructure in nonformal education.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the digital marketing implementation of Biosaka products through an andragogical approach among the Women Farmers Group (Kelompok Wanita Tani, KWT) Binangkit in Sukasari Village, Purwasari District, Karawang Regency. The training was designed to enhance participants’ skills in digital product marketing, focusing on three main indicators: packaging design, economic impact, and target market understanding. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed, with data collected through field observations, in-depth interviews, and activity documentation. The results indicate that the training significantly improved participants’ knowledge and skills, particularly in creating more attractive and informative product packaging. Economically, participants actively marketed their products via social media, maintained simple transaction records, and showed an increase in income. Regarding the target market, participants demonstrated the ability to identify potential consumers and develop promotion strategies aligned with digital trends. Overall, the digital marketing training based on andragogy proved effective in empowering rural women to develop local businesses. Support from the village government and UPTD strengthened the program’s sustainability, contributing to community-based economic empowerment efforts.

Abstract

This research article aims to find out bridal makeup training in an effort to foster the independence of package C learning citizens at PKBM nurul islam karawang. the background of this training is the high dropout rate, especially for women so that this training exists. The importance of the research topic is the relevance of learning needs to learning citizens, bridal makeup has high economic value and practical skills so that it can foster economic independence. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. This data collection technique uses observation and semi-structured interviews with research subjects totaling 5 people including 1 manager, 1 instructor, and 3 learning citizens. Data collection using interview, observation, and documentation methods. The conclusion of this research is that all bridal makeup training processes carried out at PKBM are well implemented and in accordance with existing mechanisms. In the process of implementing this training using the Learning by doing method. The instructor will explain the material and also provide teaching materials in the form of modules and practice with the media props or models, then the participants will practice following the instructor to the model. The results of this training have an impact on the independence of the trainees where they are very happy to have new skills so that in the future they can open jobs and entrepreneurship independently.

Abstract

Departing from the need to enhance the practical skills of equivalency program learners in relation to entrepreneurship, this study aims to analyze and describe the implementation of CorelDraw-based graphic design training at PKBM Tim Suara Masyarakat Dawuan Cikampek in fostering entrepreneurial character. The research was conducted using a qualitative-descriptive approach with a case study method, supported by data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and documentation. Informants included training organizers, instructors, and learners. The results showed that the training was carried out in three stages: pre-training, implementation, and evaluation. Supporting factors such as instructor competence, structured training design, relevant material, and learner motivation contributed to the success of the program. The findings indicate that the training positively influenced the development of entrepreneurial traits among learners, including selfconfidence, responsibility, risk-taking, leadership, originality, and future orientation. The main challenge identified was related to technological changes and participants' limited access to appropriate devices. Therefore, similar training programs should be developed sustainably and be responsive to technological developments to ensure that learners are equipped to face entrepreneurial challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the analysis of motivation and learning outcomes of students in the Package C equality program at PKBM Nurul Furqon. This study uses a qualitative approach. The research subjects consist of one head of the PKBM, tutors or educators, and students. Data was collected through observation of learning activities, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique involved data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. In this study, there are indicators of learning motivation found in the students, namely: attitude, needs, stimulation, affection, and reinforcement. The students also demonstrated learning outcomes during and after the learning process based on indicators of the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The motivation and learning outcomes of the students influenced them during their participation in the Package C equality program, shaping their current personalities.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high unemployment rate among the productive-age population, which necessitates improved work competencies through non-formal education, such as sewing training at a vocational training center (LKP). The study aims to describe the implementation of the Discovery Learning model in sewing training and to identify its supporting and inhibiting factorsat the LKP Gita Pertiwi Training Centre in South Tambun, Bekasi. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation with the center’s management, tutors, and students. Theresearch findings indicate that the implementation of Discovery Learning at this LKP follows six stages: stimulation, problem identification, data collection, data processing, verification, and generalization. Supporting factors include students’ cognitive readiness, learning motivation, and tutor facilitation. Inhibiting factors involve time constraints, limited critical thinking readiness, and inadequate learning facilities. Discovery Learning can foster independence and skills when supported by an effective learning system.

Abstract

Improving vocational skills among community members has become a key focus in empowering those who are not accommodated by formal education. The PKBM Tim Suara Masyarakat Dawuan Cikampek initiated an air conditioner (AC) service training program as an alternative solution for residents to gain practical skills and opportunities for self-employment. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of the training program using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). A descriptive qualitative approach was applied, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects included instructors, training participants, and program organizers. The findings reveal that: (1) in terms of context, the program is well-targeted, responding to the real needs of the community for technical skills; (2) in terms of input, the program has a fairly good planning structure, although improvements are still needed in facilities and practice tools; (3) in terms of process, the training was carried out effectively, despite facing challenges in time management and instructional methods; and (4) in terms of product, the program has successfully enhanced participants' knowledge and skills, with some graduates initiating their own service businesses. In conclusion, the AC service training program has made a positive contribution to community empowerment. However, further improvements are needed in input and process aspects to optimize and sustain the program's outcomes. Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskrispsikan peran instruktur dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kursus tata kecantikan rambut di LKP Prostyle Bekasi, hasil belajar peserta didik kursus tata kecantikan rambut LKP Prostyle Bekasi, dan  faktor pendukung dan penghambat peran instruktur dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kursus tata kecantikan rambut di LKP Prostyle Bekasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dengan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Subjek terdiri dari pengelola, dua instruktur, dan dua peserta didik kursus tata kecantikan rambut LKP Prostyle Bekasi. Analisis data mengikuti langkah-langkah seperti pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, serta menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1) Peran instruktur dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar sangat penting dan berjalan lancar dengan tujuh peran yang dijalankan sebagai informator, organizator, motivator, pembimbing, inisiator, fasilitator, dan evaluator dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. 2) Hasil belajar peserta didik kursus cukup baik terdiri dari pengetahuan (kognitif), sikap (afektif) yang cukup bagus, serta cekatan pada aketerampilan (psikomotorik). 3) Faktor pendukung peran instruktur dipengaruhi oleh kompetensi pengelola dan pendidik yang berkompeten, sarana prasarana memadai serta karakteristik peserta didik yang optimal. Sedangkan faktor penghambatnya menurunnya motivasi terhadap partisipasi peserta didik, daya saing banyaknya kursus yang berkualitas, serta pembiayaan pada keterbatasan pemasukan pengelolaan pendidikan.Kata Kunci: Peran Instruktur, Hasil Belajar Peserta didik, Kursus Tata Kecantikan rambut

Abstract

Pendidikan memiliki peran sentral dalam membentuk masa depan. Pendidikan tidak hanya mengacu pada lembaga formal, tetapi juga mencakup pendidikan non formal dan informal. Salah satu pendidikan non formal adalah Pondok Pesantren. Peran pondok pesantren semakin diapresiasi sebagai pilar pendidikan yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai keislaman, etika, dan budaya. Bogor merupakan kota yang kaya akan warisan budaya dan nilai-nilai Islam. Kota Bogor menaungi berbagai pondok pesantren yang mempunyai tugas vital dalam pembentukan karakter, akhlak, serta pengetahuan peserta didik. Salah satu pondok pesantren yang berada di Bogor yaitu Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Huda. Dalam pelaksanakan kegiatan belajar mengajar, profesionalitas tenaga pendidik di Pondok Pesantren menjadi faktor krusial yang memengaruhi kulaitas pembelajaran dan pengembangan peserta didik. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas tenaga pendidik adalah dengan melakukan supervisi klinis oleh kepala yayasan. Supervisi merupakan upaya untuk meningkatkan profesionalitas tenaga pendidik, karena supervisi yang baik tidak hanya memberikan umpan baik terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran, tetapi juga mampu membantu meningkatkan kompetensi, kreativitas, dan dedikasi tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pelaksanan supervisi klinis  dan hasil pelaksanaan supervisi klinis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini mendeskrisikan bahwa supervisi klinis yang dilakukan oleh kepala yayasan terhadap profesionalitas tenaga pendidik berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan tujuan, yaitu  mampu meningkatkan profesionalitas tenaga pendidik  pada aspek kompetensi profesional, kompetensi pedagogik guru, kompetensi sosial guru, dan kompetensi kepribadian guru.
