Abstract

This study aims to develop a learning model of Youtube-Based Learning to facilitate the learning habits of digital-age students. This research used the research and development method. The research steps were analysis of potential and problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revisions, limited implementation test, revisions, implementation tests, revisions, and mass production. Subject research was the students of class XI of Light Vehicle Engineering at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Playen. Research data collection used closed questionnaire, open questionnaire, and integrated with interviews and observations. The data analysis technique used the effect size test. The results showed that the validity of Youtube-Based Learning included in the very feasible category to apply. The contribution given by Youtube-Based Learning on student learning outcomes was 58%. Other results showed that students and teachers gave positive responses to the learning model of Youtube-Based Learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of not maximizing assignment activities in learning in higher education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the tendency of student choices towards Youtube-based assignment formats or essay-based assignments. This research is a comparative research with mixed methods method. The respondents of this study were Cosmetology and Beauty students of Universitas Negeri Padang. The results of the study described 87.5% of respondents choosing the YouTube-based assignment format for reasons related to freedom of space to express ideas and imagination, increased motivation and novelty of the assignment concept, increased understanding, challenges, and flexibility of assignment access. 2.5% of respondents chose the essay-based assignment format due to limited skills and supporting tools in terms of video editing. Furthermore, 10% of respondents chose a combination of Youtube-based assignments and essays for the reasons of excellence of each assignment format. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi belum maksimalnya kegiatan penugasan dalam pembelajaran di perguruan tinggi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis feasibility of Youtube-based assessment format as well as analyzing kecenderungan pilihan mahasiswa terhadap format penugasan berbasis Youtube atau penugasan berbasis esai. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian komparatif dengan metode mixed methods. Pengumpulan data penelitian menggunakan angket dan juga wawancara terstruktur. Analisis data menggunakan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif dan juga kualitatif deskriptif. Responden penelitian ini adalah mahasiswi Tata Rias dan Kecantikan Univeritas Negeri Padang. Hasil penelitian mendeskripsikan 87,5% responden memilih format penugasan berbasis Youtube dengan alasan terkait kebebasan ruang untuk menuangkan ide dan imajinasi, peningkatan motivasi dan kebaruan konsep penugasan, peningkatan pemahaman, tantangan, dan fleksibilitas akses penugasan. 2,5% responden memilih format penugasan berbasis esai dengan alasan keterbatasan skill dan perangkat pendukung dalam hal editing video. Selanjutnya, 10% responden memilih kombinasi penugasan berbasis Youtube dan esai dengan alasan keunggulan dari masing-masing format penugasan.

Abstract

The competency of theatrical makeup is indispensable in the digital learning era, however achieving theatrical makeup competency is still facing barriers and challenges. This research aims to analyze variables influencing theatrical makeup competency achievement. A quantitative survey used as a research method and questionnaire used for collecting data. Respondents are 105 students of Makeup and Beauty Department. Data was analyzed using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) with Smart PLS 4.0 software. The prerequisite analysis describe that the measurement model is valid and reliable. Study result describe that project-based learning has a positive and significant impact on theatrical makeup competency with the high effect category. Furthermore, tutorial videos exhibit a positive yet insignificant impact on theatrical makeup competency with low-effect category. Additionally, learning style has a positive and significant effect on theatrical makeup competency with the high-effect range. Learning style as mediator variable performs full mediation in both variable correlations. This result provides alternative factors supporting competency achievement.

Abstract

AbstrakKegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksanakan untuk menjawab tantangan pembelajaran di SDN 13 Sumani, Kabupaten Solok, yang masih didominasi metode konvensional dan minim pemanfaatan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI). Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada rendahnya keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa dan belum optimalnya kompetensi pedagogik guru. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam merancang dan mengimplementasikan Research-Driven Learning (RDL) dengan dukungan DeepSeek AI agar pembelajaran lebih inovatif, adaptif, dan berbasis riset. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada 14–15 Juli 2025 dengan melibatkan 14 guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Metode pelatihan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan berbasis ceramah interaktif dan project-based learning, demonstrasi pemanfaatan DeepSeek AI, praktik perancangan pembelajaran, pendampingan, serta evaluasi hasil pelatihan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan tingkat keterlibatan peserta yang sangat tinggi, ditandai dengan antusiasme, keaktifan berdiskusi, dan praktik langsung penggunaan DeepSeek AI. Hasil evaluasi produk menunjukkan bahwa 71,4% peserta berhasil memenuhi seluruh kriteria penilaian, dan selebihnya peserta minimal memenuhi dua dari tiga komponen utama. Program ini disarankan agar tetap dilanjutkan dalam bentuk pendampingan berkala dan pembentukan komunitas praktisi AI pendidikan untuk memastikan keberlanjutan dan penyebaran praktik pembelajaran berbasis riset di SDN 13 Sumani maupun sekolah dasar lainnya. Kata kunci: DeepSeek AI; kompetensi pedagogik; literasi digital; research-driven learning; sekolah dasar. AbstractThis community service program was implemented to address the learning challenges at SDN 13 Sumani, Solok Regency, where instructional practices remain dominated by conventional methods and the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is still minimal. These conditions have contributed to low levels of students’ critical thinking skills and the suboptimal pedagogical competence of teachers. The objective of this program was to enhance teachers’ ability to design and implement Research-Driven Learning (RDL) supported by DeepSeek AI, thereby promoting more innovative, adaptive, and research-oriented classroom practices. The activities were conducted on 14–15 July 2025 and involved 14 teachers from various subject areas. The training methods included dissemination, interactive lecture-based sessions, project-based learning, demonstrations of DeepSeek AI utilization, guided lesson design practice, mentoring, and evaluation of training outcomes. The results indicate a high level of participant engagement, reflected in strong enthusiasm, active participation in discussions, and hands-on practice with DeepSeek AI. Product evaluation further showed that 71.4% of participants met all assessment criteria, while the remaining teachers fulfilled at least two of the three key components. It is recommended that the program continue through periodic mentoring and the development of an AI-in-education practitioner community to ensure sustainability and wider dissemination of research-based learning practices at SDN 13 Sumani and other elementary schools. Keywords: DeepSeek AI; digital literacy; pedagogical competence; primary school; research-driven learning.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan pendidikan abad ke-21 menuntut guru memiliki kompetensi yang adaptif, termasuk penguasaan bahasa Inggris profesional untuk mengakses sumber belajar global dan mengadopsi inovasi pembelajaran internasional. Namun, guru di SMPN 9 Payakumbuh masih menghadapi keterbatasan dalam menguasai bahasa Inggris pedagogik, sehingga berdampak pada rendahnya pemanfaatan referensi global dan kurangnya adaptasi desain pembelajaran yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan generasi Z. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan world-class teaching competences guru melalui Pelatihan Professional English for Educators (PEE). Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 25–26 Juli 2025 dengan 20 guru sebagai peserta pelatihan. Metode kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui beberapa tahapan, yaitu sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Pelatihan difokuskan pada dua aspek utama yaitu peningkatan kemampuan memahami teks akademik, menyusun instruksi pembelajaran dalam bahasa Inggris, serta pemanfaatan teknologi berbasis Artificial Intelligence (AI) seperti Grammarly dan ChatGPT untuk mendukung pengembangan materi dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman guru dalam penggunaan bahasa Inggris profesional, kepercayaan diri dalam berkomunikasi di kelas, serta keterampilan memanfaatkan teknologi digital untuk mendukung pembelajaran. Meskipun masih terdapat kendala waktu praktik dan kelancaran berbicara, pelatihan ini telah memberikan fondasi awal yang kuat bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensi pengajaran berstandar global. Kegiatan ini disarankan untuk dilanjutkan melalui pendampingan berkelanjutan serta pengembangan komunitas belajar internal agar manfaatnya lebih luas dan berkesinambungan. Kata Kunci: AI; competence; educators; pembelajaran; professional english,. AbstractThe development of 21st-century education requires teachers to possess adaptive competencies, including professional English proficiency that enables them to access global learning resources and adopt international instructional innovations. However, teachers at SMPN 9 Payakumbuh still face limitations in mastering pedagogical English, which has resulted in the low utilization of global references and limited adaptation of instructional designs that align with the needs of Generation Z learners. This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ world-class teaching competences through the Professional English for Educators (PEE) Training. The program was implemented on 25–26 July 2025 and involved 20 teachers as participants. The implementation consisted of several stages, namely socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation. The training focused on two main aspects: improving teachers’ ability to comprehend academic texts and develop instructional guidelines in English, as well as utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI)–based tools such as Grammarly and ChatGPT to support the development of teaching materials and learning assessments. The results indicate improvements in teachers’ understanding of professional English, confidence in classroom communication, and skills in using digital technologies to support teaching and learning. Although challenges remained—particularly limited practice time and fluency in speaking—the training provided a strong initial foundation for teachers to enhance their global-standard teaching competence. It is recommended that this program be continued through sustained mentoring and the establishment of internal learning communities to ensure broader and long-term benefits. Keywords: AI; competence; educators; learning; professional english.

Abstract

AbstrakLatar belakang kegiatan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) berkaitan dengan kondisi sumber belajar tekstual yang ada belum mampu memenuhi kebutuhan kelas digital yang dinamis. Selain itu, asesmen dan evaluasi pembelajaran yang belum melibatkan teknologi digital secara optimal berdampak pada kurangnya akurasi dalam mengukur perkembangan kompetensi siswa. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM yang diwujudkan dalam bentuk pelatihan adalah meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam konteks digitalisasi sumber belajar, asesmen, dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan ChatGPT. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan adalah ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi dan praktik. Kegiatan pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada tanggal 24 Agustus 2024. Peserta pelatihan adalah guru SMPN 9 Payakumbuh yang berjumlah 31 orang. Latar belakang keahlian peserta mencakup semua mata pelajaran seperti Pendidikan Agama dan Budi Pekerti, Bahasa Indonesia, Matematika, IPA, IPS, Bahasa Inggris, PPKn, Seni Budaya, dan Informatika. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diawali dengan tahap perencanaan yang mencakup koordinasi terkait kebutuhan pelatihan dan sasaran pelatihan. Tahap pelaksanaan diawali dengan proses penyampaian materi dan diskusi serta dilanjutkan proses demonstrasi dan praktik dalam konteks digitalisasi sumber belajar, asesmen dan evaluasi berbasis ChatGPT. Tahapan terakhir pelatihan adalah evaluasi yang mengukur capaian kegiatan pelatihan. Hasil pelatihan mendeskripsikan bahwa peserta dapat mengikuti kegiatan dengan penuh antusias. Selanjutnya, peserta juga dapat memenuhi beberapa indicator ketercapaian kegiatan pelatihan antara lain mampu melakukan proses digitalisasi sumber belajar dalam bentuk modul dan dan buku elektronik. Selanjutnya, peserta juga mampu Menyusun instrument asesmen dan evaluasi dengan menggunakan Chat GPT. Beberapa indicator tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa tujuan pelaksanaan pelatihan dapat tercapai dengan baik. Rekomendasi untuk kegiatan ini adlaah agar pelatihan dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan agar hasil pelatihan dapat diimplementasikan dengan maksimal. Kata kunci: asesmen; evaluasi; ChatGPT; sumber belajar AbstractThe Community Partnership Program (PKM) addresses the limitations of existing textual learning resources in meeting the needs of dynamic digital classrooms. Additionally, assessment and evaluation have not yet fully integrated digital technology, resulting in less accurate measurements of students' competencies. The PKM program aims to improve teachers' skills in digitalizing learning resources, assessment, and evaluation using ChatGPT. Training methods included lectures, discussions, demonstrations, and hands-on practice. This training activity was conducted on August 24, 2024. The participants, 31 teachers from SMPN 9 Payakumbuh, covered various subjects like Religious Education, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Informatics. The training began with planning, followed by material delivery, discussions, and practical sessions focused on digitalizing learning resources and using ChatGPT for assessments. The final evaluation measured the program's success. Participants were enthusiastic, meeting key objectives such as converting learning materials into e-books and developing assessment tools with ChatGPT. These outcomes indicate the training's success. Abstract

AbstrakLatarbelakang kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah meningkatnya fenomena bunuh diri di kalangan generasi muda menjadi isu global dan juga menjadi isu yang terus meningkat di Indonesia. Fenomena ini disebabkan oleh masalah kesehatan mental remaja yang disebabkan tekanan akademis, masalah keluarga, kesulitan hubungan sosial, serta pengaruh negatif media sosial. Masalah selanjutnya juga terkait dengan kurangnya dukungan psikososial dan ketidakmampuan mengelola stres bagi remaja. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan edukasi terkait kesehatan mental remaja untuk mencegah terjadinya bunuh diri. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah ceramah, diskusi dan praktik. Peserta kegiatan berjumlah 20 orang dengan latar belakang profil dan daerah asal yang beragam. Kegiatan mencakup persiapan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi yang mencakup antara lain penyampaian materi edukasi, diskusi dan tanya jawab, pendampingan dalam penyusunan rencana strategis pencegahan bunuh diri dan evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil kegiatan mendeskripsikan bahwa seluruh peserta dapat mengikuti kegiatan dengan baik dan dapat memahami substansi kegiatan dengan baik. Hasil berikutnya adalah peserta dapat menyusun rencana strategis pencegahan bunuh diri yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam konteks individu maupun masyarakat. Rencana strategis pencegahan tersebut antara lain program pelatihan ketahanan mental di sekolah, sistem pendukung peer counselor (konselor sebaya), kampanye kesadaran kesehatan mental, workshop orang tua dan guru, layanan konseling terintegrasi, program edukasi dan latihan mindfulness, pusat informasi dan dukungan kesehatan mental, program ekstrakurikuler yang menunjang kesehatan mental. Secara keseluruhan, tujuan kegiatan edukasi ini dapat dicapai dengan maksimal. Terakhir, saran yang dapat diberikan adalah agar program pendampingan yang sejalan dapat diberikan secara berkala dan berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: edukasi; ketahanan mental; generasi muda; bunuh diri. Abstract The background of this community service activity is the increasing phenomenon of suicide among young people, which has become a global issue and is also rising in Indonesia. This phenomenon is caused by mental health problems among teenagers due to academic pressure, family issues, social relationship difficulties, and the negative influence of social media. Additionally, there is a lack of psychosocial support and an inability to manage stress among teenagers. This community service activity aims to provide education related to teenage mental health to prevent suicide. The methods used in this activity include delivering educational materials, discussions and Q&A sessions, assistance in formulating strategic suicide prevention plans, and activity evaluation. The results of the activity indicate that all participants could follow the activity well and understand its substance. Furthermore, the participants were able to develop strategic suicide prevention plans that can be implemented on both individual and community levels. These strategic prevention plans include mental resilience training programs in schools, peer counselor support systems, mental health awareness campaigns, workshops for parents and teachers, integrated counseling services, education and mindfulness training programs, mental health information and support centers, and extracurricular programs that support mental health. Overall, the educational objectives of this activity were successfully achieved. Finally, it is recommended that similar supportive programs be provided regularly and continuously. Keywords: education; mental resilience; young generation; suicide.

Abstract

AbstrakPerkembangan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (Artificial Intelligence/AI) telah membuka peluang baru dalam dunia pendidikan, khususnya dalam proses evaluasi pembelajaran. Namun, di lapangan masih banyak guru yang belum memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan yang memadai dalam memanfaatkan teknologi ini secara optimal. Kondisi ini juga ditemukan di SMPN 9 Payakumbuh, di mana sebagian besar guru masih menggunakan metode evaluasi konvensional yang kurang fleksibel, memakan waktu, dan belum mencerminkan kemampuan siswa secara akurat. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini dilaksanakan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam melakukan evaluasi pembelajaran berbasis AI, khususnya melalui pemanfaatan Chatbot AI seperti ChatGPT. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan pada 24 Agustus 2024 di SMPN 9 Payakumbuh, diikuti oleh 31 guru dari berbagai mata pelajaran. Metode pelatihan meliputi ceramah, diskusi, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung. Materi difokuskan pada penggunaan ChatGPT untuk menyusun soal, menganalisis jawaban siswa, memberikan umpan balik otomatis, serta merancang evaluasi berbasis interaksi percakapan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu menyusun instrumen evaluasi digital berbasis ChatGPT dan menunjukkan antusiasme tinggi terhadap penggunaan AI dalam pembelajaran. Disarankan agar pelatihan ini dilanjutkan secara berkala dan disertai dengan pendampingan untuk mendukung implementasi berkelanjutan di kelas. Kata kunci: Chatbot AI; evaluasi pembelajaran; ChatGPT; kompetensi guru; pelatihan. The rapid advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has introduced new opportunities in the field of education, particularly in the area of learning assessment. This Community Partnership Program (PKM) was implemented to enhance teachers’ competencies in AI-based assessment by utilizing chatbot technology, specifically ChatGPT. The content focused on the use of ChatGPT to design assessment questions, analyze student responses, provide automated feedback, and develop interactive, conversation-based evaluations. The results indicated that participants were able to develop AI-based digital assessment instruments and demonstrated high enthusiasm for integrating AI into teaching practices.
