Abstract

Local Revenue (PAD) is an important part of the area which is considered as the level of government independence in the financial sector, especially the Brebes Regency Government. To increase PAD, local governments must be able to explore sources that can generate income in their areas that have the potential to be taxed. Entertainment tax, parking tax and billboard tax are local taxes. These three taxes can be a potential source of funding to provide income for the regional treasury to meet regional needs that can spur economic development in Brebes Regency. This study aims to determine the effect of entertainment tax, parking tax and billboard tax on Brebes Regency PAD in 2015–2019. This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data used is secondary data. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and literature studies. Data analysis using SPSS is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, multiple linear analysis test, t test, F test, and determination coefficient test. The results showed that the entertainment tax partially had a significant effect on PAD; parking taxes partially have a significant effect on PAD; the billboard tax partially affects pad significantly. Simultaneously, entertainment tax, parking tax and billboard tax have a significant effect on PAD.

Abstract

Kemampuan manajemen keuangan dalam hal perencanaan keuangan menjadi salah satu kemampuan yang wajib dimiliki oleh para buruh migran yang bekerja di luar negeri dengan meningkatkan literasi keuangan mereka. Sebab dengan kemampuan manajemen keuangan yang baik dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan yang efektif, efisien, dan bermanfaat, sehingga para buruh migran diharapkan dapat meningkatkan tingkat kesejahteraannya saat kembali ke tanah air memiliki modal yang cukup selama merantau di luar negeri. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilakukan dengan tujuan agar para pekerja migran di Taiwan memiliki pengetahuan literasi keuangan yang baik. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menggunakan metode pemaparan materi, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah para pekerja migran dapat melakukan perencanaan keuangan rumah tangga. Dengan memiliki literasi keuangan yang baik, masyarakat Indonesia diharapkan menjadi lebih maju, sehat, dan sejahtera khususnya pekerja migran di Taiwan.

Abstract

The government is committed to empowering Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMES) in Indonesia, MSMES are a form of small business whose existence plays a very important role in empowering the community to have independence in the economic sector. MSMEs that are used as partners in community service activities are people who are members of the home industry in the village of Randusanga Wetan, Brebes Regency. This article at least describes the results of the community service process carried out by the community service team from Muhadi Setiabudi University, Brebes, offering assistance services on the importance of business legalization so that it can be more competitive globally. Having a business license is very important for the community, but sometimes there are not a few people who don't want to take care of their business license due to lack of knowledge, limited data, and so on. Through this community service activity, the goals and targets to be achieved in community service activities are business legalization for MSME actors. By having business legality, business actors are expected to be able to compete in the free market era. The method used in this service activity is carried out in the form of counseling and assistance in managing business legality

Abstract

Brebes Regency is the largest producer of these commodities at the national level. Brebes has a lot of natural wealth potential to be made into local superior products. Brebes' superior products include shallots, salted eggs, salem batik, ornamental ceramics, and tambourines. Another superior product of Brebes is salted eggs which are the result of processed ducks whose popularity is due to their deliciousness and well-known quality and are undoubtedly different from other regions. Brebes has Batik with superior quality under the name Batik Salem. The demand for Brebes superior products, both locally and even imported, continues to increase. The results of the survey and observations are continued with socialization on how to register product patents so that it is hoped that MSME players will be more confident in their business competition so that they are able to have a competitive advantage and business sustainability in the long term.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of financial access mediation through financial technology on the performance of SMEs in Central Java Province, Indonesia. This study collected 100 SME respondents who had used services on fintech applications, to find out how these financial technology innovations affected SME business performance. The PLS-SEM model was used to test the proposed hypothesis. The results of the study show that the relationship between fintech and access to finance is positive and significant. These findings also reveal that fintech has a positive and significant effect on the performance of SMEs. In addition, the results of further research show that access to financing mediates the relationship between fintech services and SME performance positively and significantly. Therefore, this study concludes that access to financing is an important mechanism in the influence of fintech services on the operational and financial performance of SMEs. The study provides a better understanding of how SMEs can improve their performance by leveraging fintech as a solution to obtain new sources of funding
