Abstract

Health law counseling is a preventive effort to equip nursing students with a strong understanding of ethical and legal responsibilities in nursing practice. This activity was conducted through an educational and interactive approach based on health law counseling. This community applied a descriptive qualitative method involving 30 nursing students as participants selected purposively. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and written reflections. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' understanding of legal issues such as malpractice, informed consent, and the scope of professional authority. Students also demonstrated increased confidence in responding to legal dilemmas during clinical practice. Law counseling based on case studies and simulation proved effective in building students’ legal awareness and professionalism. The result of this community service affirms the importance of integrating health law into the nursing education curriculum and highlights the need for continuous legal education programs as part of the strategy to improve the ethical and legal competencies of future nurses.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the fulfillment of BPJS Patient Rights If there is a refusal in health services at the Palagimata Regional General Hospital Baubau City, to find out the Civil Law analysis of BPJS Patient Rights If there is a health services at the Palagimata Regional General Hospital Baubau City. The research method used is empirical normative with a descriptive research approach. Empirical normative research approach is research that examines the implementation or implementation of positive legal provisions (legislation) and written documents in action (factual) on a particular legal event that occurs in society. The results showed that legal protection of patients' rights against BPJS Health participants who experience denial of health services in hospitals is divided into two forms, namely preventive protection with repressive protection. The form of legal protection provided to BPJS Kesehatan participants for health services at the hospital is the right to claim compensation with the form of civil liability in Articles 1367 and 1365. The role of the government when it occurs in overcoming cases of denial of service in hospitals against BPJS Kesehatan participants is to increase the capacity of health service facilities, re-design the health service referral system, and optimize Minimum Service Standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of underage marriage on the divorce rate in Baubau City using a normative-empirical legal approach. Early marriage remains a prevalent issue in various regions, including Baubau, and is often linked to a high rate of divorce. The findings reveal a significant correlation between underage marriages and divorce, both in terms of frequency and the resulting social consequences. The primary contributing factors include premarital pregnancy, premarital sexual relations, peer pressure, and cultural or societal norms. The lack of mental and emotional maturity among young couples is a major trigger for disharmony and instability in these hastily formed marriages. Data were collected through documentation from the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) and interviews with relevant stakeholders. Based on the results, the study recommends the active involvement of parents in supervising and educating their children, with a strong emphasis on moral and religious education from an early age. Additionally, the introduction of comprehensive sex education for adolescents is deemed essential. Government agencies, religious institutions, and educational bodies must work collaboratively to address the issue through public awareness, preventive education, and strict regulatory measures. These efforts are expected to significantly reduce the incidence and impact of early marriage, fostering a healthier, more responsible young generation.

Abstract

Sebagian besar generasi muda saat ini dalam berbagai kasus pelanggaran hukum, yang paling serius adalah penyalahgunaan narkoba, yang dapat berdampak buruk bagi tumbuh kembang mereka. Berangkat dari hal tersebut, dosen-dosen Fakultas Hukum Universitas Muhammadiyah Buton melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk penyuluhan hukum mengenai upaya penanggulangan tindak pidana narkotika di kalangan anak muda Kelurahan Wameo, Kecamatan Batupoaro, Kota Baubau. Setelah pelaksanaan penyuluhan hukum, hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja tentang tindak pidana kejahatan narkotika semakin meningkat. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman remaja tentang tindak pidana kejahatan narkotika masih minim. Saat ini sudah ada kesadaran yang lebih baik tentang kejahatan yang terkait dengan opioid. Hasil kegiatan ini dideskripsikan dalam laporan pelaksanaan kegiatan dan dipublikasikan dalam jurnal ilmiah sehingga dapat bermanfaat baik bagi civitas akademika maupun masyarakat secara keseluruhan.
