Abstract

Regular detection of cracks on the road surface is a necessary link to ensure the safety of road users. There are several traditional methods that have been developed to detect road cracks, but there are still many shortcomings in these traditional methods. The inefficiency of conventional methods has led to the development of automatic detection methods using image processing. This research aims to detect road surface cracks using the thresholding method, median filter, and morphological techniques applied to 40 road surface images which are divided into training data and test data. Processing image data for road surface crack detection in this research uses the Open CV tool. From these results it was found that this method can be applied with a success rate of 85%.

Abstract

Abstract— Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan is one of the shops located in Tanjungpinang city and is engaged in selling and providing building materials. Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan is located at Jalan Gatot Subroto. In procuring building materials, Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan usually first checks the stock of goods in the warehouse and also sees what trend in the market for goods is currently booming. If you have found the goods to be held and the goods are currently booming, then Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan will procure the goods. The problem that arises in procuring goods like this is that sometimes the number of goods ordered does not match what is needed by the community, causing stockpiles of goods to accumulate in the warehouse and hindering Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan in ordering other goods. This can be overcome if the Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan has a system that is able to check the available stock of goods directly without having to check the warehouse first, and also determine the number of items held using a prediction system. The methodology used for the development of this application is the waterfall methodology, the reason is because this method has stages of application development that are in accordance with the way the author developed this application by going through the stages of analysis, design, coding, testing and application. And for the calculation method in making this prediction, the author uses the Single Exponential Smoothing method which this method uses reference data that has a fixed pattern. This prediction model was chosen because the data obtained contains a stationary pattern (tends to be fixed and does not change). From the results of the design, we get a system that is able to predict the exact amount of the purchase of an item made by Toko Jaya Indah Bangunan and this prediction system is made using the Java language, MySQL database and desktop-based. Abstract

Stingless bees play an important role as natural pollinators in ecosystems and as producers of economically valuable products such as honey, propolis, and bee bread, which are utilized in the food and health industries. Identifying stingless bee species remains a challenge due to the many species with similar morphology, requiring more efficient and accurate methods. This study aims to develop an automatic system based on image processing technology for the identification of stingless bee species using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN), TensorFlow, and the Single Shot MultiBox Detector (SSD) implemented with OpenCV. The test results showed that the developed system was capable of automatically detecting and classifying stingless bee species with an average accuracy of 98%, especially when the object was directly aligned with the camera. Out of 40 tested samples, 31 samples were recognized, and 9 samples were not, resulting in a success rate of 77.5%. Factors influencing detection success include the quality of training data, camera positioning, and morphological similarities between species.

Abstract

The SINTAK Reporting Information System at STT Indonesia Tanjung Pinang is a system used to record students' academic activity transcripts, which serve as a mandatory requirement for the final examination process, with a minimum score of 60 points. However, in its implementation, SINTAK still has several features that can be further developed to enhance user convenience. Additionally, an analysis of user satisfaction with this system has been conducted using the Pieces Framework. This study aims to analyze user satisfaction levels regarding SINTAK and identify features that need improvement. The research employs a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis and an inductive method. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, literature review, and questionnaire distribution using a purposive sampling technique involving 87 respondents who are system users. The results indicate that the six variables in the Pieces Framework received average scores reflecting user satisfaction: performance (3.75, SATISFIED category), information & data (3.67, SATISFIED category), economic (3.51, SATISFIED category), control & security (3.71, SATISFIED category), efficiency (3.87, SATISFIED category), and service (3.79, SATISFIED category). These findings suggest that while SINTAK has met user needs, there are opportunities for further development to improve the system's effectiveness and efficiency.

Abstract

Personal data breaches in Indonesia have become increasingly prevalent, posing significant risks to both individuals and businesses. With the rapid advancement of information technology, this issue has sparked intense discussions on social media, particularly on the X (Twitter) platform. This study aims to analyze user sentiment on X regarding personal data breaches by classifying opinions into positive, negative, and neutral sentiment categories. Additionally, this research evaluates the performance of the classification model using a confusion matrix to measure accuracy, precision, recall, and f1-score. The method used in this study is the Naïve Bayes Classifier, with 70% training data (433 data points) and 30% testing data (186 data points). The data was obtained through web crawling and preprocessed before performing sentiment classification. The results indicate that negative sentiment dominates with 43.54%, followed by positive sentiment at 28.50%, and neutral sentiment at 27.96%. Model evaluation achieved an accuracy of 98.92%, with negative precision 100%, neutral precision 100%, and positive precision 96.30%. Meanwhile, recall for both positive and negative sentiment reached 100%, while recall for neutral sentiment was 96.23%. The f1-score for negative, neutral, and positive sentiment was 1.0, 0.988, and 0.981, respectively. These findings demonstrate that the Naïve Bayes Classifier performs exceptionally well in classifying sentiment related to personal data breaches. The dominance of negative sentiment in the classification results reflects high public concern over this issue, highlighting the urgent need for enhanced data security measures and privacy protection in Indonesia.

Abstract

Room temperature controller and chicken feeding using arduino designed to make it easier for farmers to control room and automatic feeding system. This research aims to maintain and control the temperature of the chicken coop which is a special obstacle for herders with an unstable and uncertain climate. This research uses devices such as Arduino Uno R3 Microcontroller, RTC, 4 Channel Relay, Water Level, DHT11, Van Theo, Servo, LCD. CM Sensor DHT 11 is used as a temperature gauge for the enclosure, this sensor will work to turn fan if temperature >32° and <24° then light will turn on. Feeding system moves automatically using servo motor as main driver in opening the feed tandon lid, the water level sensor serves as data input to arduino to instruct the relay to connect selenoide valve, as the main driver to open water access from the water toren. This room temperature control tool and feeding and water can help farmers to be able to do other activities to support family economy. This tool system uses low power electric current so it is very economical for chicken farmers.

Abstract

The complexity of disaster threats requires structuring and anticipating targeted and integrated development planning and programs, so an information system is needed that can help stakeholders to actively participate in disaster mitigation and management. In this study, a regional disaster information system (SIMKEDA) was developed which was designed to suit the phases of disaster management, namely pre-disaster, emergency response, and post-disaster. The representation of the disaster intensity is presented using a mapping platform from the Mapbox API. After being developed SIMKEDA can process data processing according to the phases of disaster management.

Abstract

Deafness is a type of special need that is of concern to the government in terms of equality in obtaining education as stated in Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 20 of 2003 concerning National Education Chapter IV Article 5 paragraph (1) states that "Every citizen has the same right to obtain quality education" and paragraph (2) "Citizens who have physical, emotional, mental, intellectual and /or social rights to obtain special education”. The problem faced by deaf student is the difficulty of capturing the information conveyed by the teacher during the learning process. These limitations make it difficult for deaf children to master good and correct vocabulary. The aim of this research is to help student with special needs learn vocabulary through learning media. With this application, it is hoped that it can meet the vocabulary learning needs, especially for Deaf SMPLB students at SLB Karya Mandiri Kijang.

Abstract

IoT-Based Automated Aglonema Lulaiwan Watering Monitoring With Soil Moisture and Dht11 Sensors Using the Telegram Application is designed to assist users in monitoring and watering plants. This study aims to inform the user that the plants lack water or not and in watering so as not to overwater. This study uses devices such as Base NodeMCU ESP8266, NodeMCU ESP8266, Sensor Soil Moisture, DHT11, Relay, Box 9V Battery, 9V Battery, LCD16x2 I2C, Mini Pump and telegram application, This Mini Pump works if the soil moisture is below 50%. This Aglonema plant watering system works automatically which uses a Soil Moisture sensor to measure soil moisture, DHT11 to check the temperature around the plant, The relay functions to turn off the Mini Pump, The Mini Pump works as a dispensing of water to the plants and the telegram application functions to provide notifications to check soil moisture and temperature around the plants. With this automatic watering system can help users determine soil moisture.

Abstract

The profession of fishermen requires a reliable system to remove stagnant water from fishing boats, as manual drainage is time-consuming and inefficient. This study proposes an IoT-based automatic water drainage system without using an inverter or ultrasonic sensor, offering a cost-effective alternative. The system utilizes a water level sensor and a DC water pump, controlled via a smartphone application. The research model used is the Research and Development (R&D) model, through several stages, namely potential and problems, initial data needs, prototype creation, prototype validation, prototype revision, validation, implementation. Problems occur at the prototype stage, problems that must be revised include aspects of wiring, Power Suitability, Water Level Sensor Test, and the configuration of the relay used. The IOT-based automatic water drainage system can function based on the results of white-box testing including Hardware Implementation, Software Implementation, Implementation of Application Usage, and Automatic Drainage System Testing. This is indicated by the results of the Liquid Water Level Sensor Functionality test, DC Water Pump Functionality Test, Solar Panel and Battery Functionality Test, and IOT Functionality Test. IOT-based automatic water discharge systems on fishing boats are more efficient and cost-effective in the long run, although diesel engines offer more reliability under adverse weather conditions or in places with limited access to sunlight.
