Abstract

The Dodokan Watershed (DAS) is a watershed that is included in one of the national priority watersheds, so it is necessary to monitor and evaluate the watershed management on a regular basis. One very important aspect in monitoring and evaluating watershed management is the determination of the amount of environmental discharge. Environmental discharge in Indonesia is known as river maintenance flow which is intended in the context of river management to maintain river ecosystems. The amount of river maintenance flow in Indonesia is regulated in PP No. 38 of 2011 concerning rivers, namely Q95% mainstay discharge. The purpose of this study was to determine the amount of environmental discharge in the Dodokan watershed as one of the river management efforts in the future. The method used is the hydrological method, namely the Tennant method and flow duration curve (FDC). The Tennant method recommends that the minimum flow is set relative to the annual average flow and in the FDC method the daily discharge data is processed into a certain percentage as the probability value of the event using Weibull theory. The results showed that the environmental discharge interval using the Tennant and FDC methods was 0.01–0.2 m3/s, from this interval it can be seen that the flow characteristics in the Dodokan watershed have a very small minimum quantity. This situation illustrates that the carrying capacity of the Dodokan watershed is in a declining condition so it is necessary to carry out proper watershed management in accordance with existing conditions

Abstract

The threat of drought that occurs every year will have an impact on hampering the activities of residents Dusun Sepi, Buwun Mas Village, Sekotong District. Therefore, it is necessary to make efforts to overcome the threat of a clean water crisis due to drought by conserving water or looking for alternative water sources. The application of a rainwater harvesting system (PAH) can be a solution to this problem. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide socialization and applications regarding efforts to anticipate drought disasters. The method used is a knowledge approach by providing socialization and application of the PAH system in one of the buildings at the Zainul Hafidz Islamic Boarding School At-Taufiq, Dusun Sepi, Buwun Mas Village, Sekotong District. The socialization activity took place on June 4, 2022 and went smoothly and orderly. During the implementation of the service activities, partners, in this case the residents of the Zainul Hafidz At-Taufiq Islamic Boarding School and the residents of the quiet hamlet, were very enthusiastic in participating in the socialization and application of rainwater harvesting (PAH) or roof-based rain water harvesting on a household scale with 54 participants. who came from the residents of the Islamic boarding school and residents around Dusun Sepi. From the estimated demand for clean water for Islamic boarding schools, with the PAH system as an alternative water source, the fulfillment of clean water needs for Islamic boarding schools can be helped by 3%.

Abstract

In line with the North Lombok Regency (KLU) government program to prioritize handling and structuring residential areas and disaster-prone areas in the Pemenang-Tanjung sub-district in 2022, it is necessary to carry out several technical studies to support the program. One of the technical studies that can be carried out is an analysis of the design flood and river capacity around the Sokong River section in Tanjung Village, which is a location that is classified as densely populated, with slums and residential areas close to the river border. This study aimed to determine the magnitude of the design flood discharge and the cross-sectional capacity of the Sokong river section. The method used in this study is a hydrological analysis using the Nakayasu Synthetic Unit Hydrograph method to determine the amount of design flood discharge for the 25-year return period (Q25th) and analysis of river cross-sectional capacity using Hec-RAS 4.1.0 software. The results of the analysis show that the Q25th that occurs along the Sokong River section is 131.32 m3/s and the simulation results use Hec-RAS 4.1.0 software. shows that the capacity of the Sokong River segment cannot accommodate the Q25th. Therefore, it is necessary to plan the arrangement of residential buildings around the border area of ​​the Sokong River by raising the elevation of the building to be free from flood inundation.

Abstract

Sama Guna Village is a division village located in Tanjung District, North Lombok Regency. By the formation of a new government institution, it is certainly not immediately supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure. One of them is the Village Office. In this case, Sama Guna Village wants to make a design related to the needs of the Village Office. However, this has become a quite tough activity for the Village based on: budget constraints, optimizing the utilization of Village funds and Village apparatus human resources. As a developer in the field of Civil Engineering and active in the field of development, as well as a form of scientific service to the community, assistance is needed to assisting activities for the engineered of the Village Office Detail Engineer Design (DED). Starting from activities: measurement; brainstorming with village and community officials; deliberations and assistance in the manufacture of DED, a design was found that is effective, strong and economical. The resulting building area is 313.96 m2.

Abstract

Masih rendah ketrampilan pedagang dalam mempromosikan hasil bumi duren. Tujuan dilakukan pengabdian kepada masyarakat khususnya pemberdayaan pedagang duren melalui strategi inovatif pada desa kekait Lombok Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi  pada pedagang.  Hasil Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini diketahui bahwa antusias dari pedagang dalam memperkenalkan media social sebagai media promosi dagangan kepada umum. Keberadaan program ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan hasil penjualan duren dari waktu ke waktu. Kedepan diperlukan event skala nasional dan internasional dengan membuat duren sebagai icon kekait sebagai hasil bumi di tanah Lombok khususnya Desa Kekait Gunung Sari.
