Abstract

Abstract: This paper aims at improving the retention of learners with the use of virtual reality based learning media for solar system topic. The research method used was the 4D Development Model. The results of research were virtual reality reality (VRTS) media products validated by media experts, materials and field application and tested by individuals, small groups, large groups and field trial. The validity test results concluded VRTS media is very valid. The results of trials on aspects of attractiveness and practicality was considered very interesting and practical. The results of product effectiveness concluded that the VRTS media can increase the retention of learners with the average score of the experimental class 79,2 and the control class 62,3 and also the percentage of concept comprehension which reaches 100% in experiment class and 77,3% in control class.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan retensi peserta didik dengan penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis virtual reality pada topik tata surya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yakni Model Pengembangan 4D. Hasil penelitian berupa produk media virtual reality tata surya (VRTS) yang divalidasi oleh ahli media, materi dan penerapan lapangan serta diuji coba perorangan, kelompok kecil, kelompok besar dan lapangan. Hasil uji validitas menyimpulkan media VRTS sangat valid. Hasil uji coba pada aspek kemenarikan dan kepraktisan menghasilkan kriteria sangat menarik dan praktis. Hasil uji efektivitas produk ini dapat diambil keputusan bahwa media VRTS dapat meningkatkan retensi peserta didik dengan nilai rata-rata kelas eksperimen 79,2 dan untuk kelas kontrol 62,3 dan juga persentase pemahaman konsep mencapai 100% pada kelas eksperimen dan 77,3% pada kelas kontrol.

Abstract

Ancaman wabah Coronavirus Disease 2019 atau Covid-19 melanda Indonesia dan memberikan dampak pada berbagai bidang, salah satunya bidang pendidikan. Sebelum wabah melanda Indonesia, pembelajaran dilakukan secara tatap muka. Namun saat ini, pembelajaran dilakukan secara daring dengan menggunakan aplikasi zoom dan whatsapp. Pembelajaran daring yang dilaksanakan di SDN Mlajah 2 Bangkalan menjadi terhambat karena terkendala jaringan siswa yang berada dilokasi kurang mumpuni untuk kelancaran jaringan, sehingga hal ini menghambat kemampuan berpikir kritis, logis, reflektif, metakognitif, dan berpikir kreatif. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran matematika menggunakan aplikasi zoom dan whatsapp dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada masa pandemi dan perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan Aplikasi Zoom dan WhatsApp. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Pengambilan sampelmenggunakan teknik “Cluster Sampling” dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 dari kelas Va dan kelas Vb. Variabel pada penelitian ini yaitu variabel independent (Model pembelajaran Zoom dan WhatsApp) dan variabel dependen (hasil belajar). Instrumen dalam penelitian ini menggunakan soal tes untuk mendapatkan data tentang hasil belajar. Teknik analisis data berupa uji prasyarat yang terdiri atas uji validitas, uji reabilitas, uji normalitas, dan uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji Independent Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran zoom terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai belajar siswa dari 60,20 menjadi 81,00; (b) terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran whatsapp terhadap hasil belajar siswa yang dibuktikan dengan peningkatan rata-rata nilai belajar siswa dari 54,60 menjadi 75,80; (c) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan aplikasi Zoom dan WhatsApp siswa kelas V SDN Mlajah 2 Bangkalan Bangkalan yang dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai Sig. yang diperoleh pada Independent Samples Test sebesar 0,005 < 0,05

Abstract

Keterampilan yang penting untuk dikembangkan di era 4.0 yaitu keterampilan pemecahan masalah (KMP) karena seseorang yang memiliki KMP dapat dengan mudah menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam kehidupannya dan dibutuhkan di segala profesi dan menentukan kesuksesan seseorang di masa depan. Namun hasil observasi pada tes KMP siswa, hanya 20% dari 42 siswa yang mencapai KKM. Penyebabnya yaitu siswa masih merasa kesulitan dalam penggunaan KMP karena belum terbiasa dan latihan pemecahan masalah yang diberikan guru masih terdefinisi dengan jelas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model PO2E2W dalam meningkatkan KMP siswa dan untuk meningkatan KMP siswa melalui model PO2E2W. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah PTK yang memiliki empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek pada penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas IV-B UPTD SDN Kemayoran 1, Bangkalan dan tempat yang digunakan dalam melakukan penelitian yaitu di UPTD SDN Kemayoran 1, Bangkalan, Madura. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian yaitu observasi dan tes. Data penelitian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penerapan model PO2E2W memperoleh persentase di atas 80% dan KMP siswa mengalami peningkatan pada siklus I dan siklus II

Abstract

Microsoft office powerpoint provides slide facilities to accommodate talking points that will be conveyed to students. With animation facilities, each slide can be modified very attractively. Likewise with the facilities: front picture, sound, and visual effects that can be used to make good and attractive slides so as to accommodate the learning modalities of students. This program can accommodate students who have audio, visual and kinesthetic types. Canva is an online design program that provides a variety of tools such as presentations, resumes, posters, pamphlets, brochures, graphics, infographics, banners, bookmarks, bulletins, and so on that are provided in the Canva application. The purpose of this service is a workshop on making interactive ppt using the Canva application. This workshop was conducted for UPTD SDN Pangeranan 1 Bangkalan educators. Community service activities are carried out through several stages of activities, including: Preparation and Briefing, Implementation, and Program Sustainability Planning. After the workshop, educators are able to create interactive PPT using the Canva application that is interesting and fun for students.

Abstract

Learning motivation plays a crucial role in improving academic achievement by instilling moral, ethical, and cultural values. Indonesian language learning not only develops effective skills but also deepens cultural understanding and enhances literacy. This research aims to evaluate the influence of teacher roles on student learning motivation in grade III of MI Nahdlatul Mubtadiin using the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design experimental method. Teacher roles are considered vital in education, particularly in Indonesian language teaching; the absence of teacher intervention can reduce student motivation. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test hypothesis testing show statistical significance (p < 0.05), confirming the significant influence of teacher roles on student motivation. The increase in student learning outcomes from a pretest score of 16.00 to a posttest score of 37.00 confirms the significant impact of teacher roles at MI Nahdatul Mubtadiin.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of plastic cups & marbles props on the level of understanding, activity and understanding and activities of students in learning mathematics. This study uses a quantitative research method with a Quasi Experimental Design research design. The population in this study were all students of SD Negeri Mlajah 2 Bangkalan as many as 454 students, the samples were class IIa and class IIb, the determination of the sample was carried out using purposive sampling. The results showed that 1) there was an effect of plastic cups & marbles props on the level of students' understanding of mathematics learning and obtained a sig value. of 0.012 < 0.05 for class A and 0.004 < 0.05 for class B. 2) There is an effect of teaching aids plastic cups & marbles on student activities in class A mathematics learning with a value of sig. of 0.000 < 0.05. 3) there is no effect of plastic cups & marbles props on student activities in class B mathematics learning with a sig. of 0.986 > 0.05 in accordance with the criteria for the Multivariate Analysis of Variance test.

Abstract

Thematic learning becomes very important in the era of the 2013 curriculum and also the current independent learning curriculum, the output of the two curricula is strengthening the processes and learning outcomes for students. The seminar was conducted with the aim of strengthening and increasing the teacher's pegagogical competence, especially in terms of learning innovation. The seminar was conducted offline with a duration of 200 minutes on August 29 2022 at UPTD SDN Pangilen 3 Sampang which was attended by 8 teachers. The speaker uses the help of a laptop as a medium for delivering material. The results of the seminar implementation: 1) The first speaker gave material about holistic and meaningful learning, the second speaker gave authentic and active learning material. 2) The seminar runs actively as evidenced by lively discussions. 3) The results of the teacher's seminar increasingly understand and can practice holistic, meaningful, authentic and active learning in front of the presenters. The impact of this seminar is as a reference material and study for other schools, especially rural schools that have not implemented thematic learning as a whole.

Abstract

The purpose of the service is to socialize the use of the mind-mapping learning model in social studies learning content. Method of implementation with lectures and discussions. Stages of implementation: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Equipment: laptop, LCD projector, and consumption. Participants: school principals and teachers. Implementation results: the implementation of the socialization was successful through the provision of material on the use of mind mapping models and procedures for using mind mapping models. Implementation of socialization can provide a choice of solutions to solve problems in learning activities by applying the mind-mapping learning model. Socialization activities can facilitate increasing understanding of the use of learning models by educators of the Technical Implementation Unit of the Gili Anyar Bangkalan Public Elementary School Service.

Abstract

Social studies are important for forming students' social understanding and critical skills and increasing student achievement with the implementation of PJBL. The study aims to determine the success and influence of the PJBL model on social studies learning outcomes and to evaluate the achievement of student learning outcomes at SDN Pangilen 3 Sampang. Quantitative experimental research uses a one group pretest-posttest design. Data were analyzed by tests and observations, using normality, homogeneity, and t-test tests to significantly measure the effectiveness of PJBL. The results of the study showed: The implementation of PJBL as a whole was in the sufficient category and needed improvement in reflection and collaboration. Of the 16 fourth grade students, 43.75% achieved KKM 70 in the pre-test with an average of 69.25. After learning a certain model, 93.75% achieved KKM, the average increased to 72.38, and the scores were more even, indicating an increase in mastery of social studies material. The normality and homogeneity tests of the data were met. The p value of 0.017 indicated by the partial test explains that there is a significant difference so that this explains that PjBL affects students' social studies learning achievement. Conclusion: The implementation of PJBL is quite effective with increasing mastery of social studies material, but reflection and collaboration need to be improved.

Abstract

The learning outcomes and interests of class IC students are classified as low/minimal because teachers rarely use learning media and students appear inactive during learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of domino counting media on learning outcomes and student interests. The type of research and research design used were quantitative and one group pretest posttest design. Data collection techniques used were tests and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques used were validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, paired sample t tests, and manova tests. The results of the manova test obtained a significance value <0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an effect of domino counting media on learning outcomes and student interests.
