Abstract

This study investigates the effect of temperature and nitrogen doping (N-Doping) on the pyrolysis of bamboo waste to optimize the distribution of biochar, bio-oil, and gas products. Bamboo waste as raw material was applied to pyrolysis in a quartz tube furnace reactor at temperatures of 300°C, 400°C, 500°C, and 600°C under two atmospheric conditions: pyrolysis with nitrogen (PN) and pyrolysis without nitrogen (PWN). Results reveal that temperature significantly influences product distribution, with bio-oil yield peaking at 500°C (52% in PN) and decreasing at higher temperatures due to secondary cracking. Nitrogen doping enhances bio-oil production by preventing oxidation and reducing secondary reactions, leading to a bio-oil yield increase from 16.52% in PWN to 55.32% in PN at 500°C. Conversely, PWN conditions resulted in higher biochar yield due to partial oxidation. Gas yield increased at elevated temperatures in both conditions, attributed to thermal cracking and reformation processes. These findings emphasize the importance of controlled temperature and atmospheric conditions in maximizing the efficiency and product quality of bamboo waste pyrolysis. The results provide valuable insights into sustainable biomass conversion strategies, contributing to renewable energy development and bamboo waste valorization.

Abstract

Hukum ekonomi syariah merupakan cabang hukum yang mengatur transaksi ekonomi berdasarkan prinsip Islam, bertujuan mencapai keadilan dan kesejahteraan. Dalam konteks asuransi, hukum syariah menerapkan konsep ta'awun (saling membantu) dan tabarru (sumbangan) untuk mendukung peserta dalam menghadapi risiko, dengan menghindari unsur riba, gharar, dan maisir. Perlindungan konsumen dalam asuransi syariah menekankan prinsip keadilan, transparansi, dan tanggung jawab, penting untuk menjaga hubungan etis antara peserta dan penyedia. Kasus gagal klaim menyoroti tantangan dalam hubungan ini, yang berpotensi merusak reputasi asuransi syariah. Penyelesaian sengketa klaim dilakukan melalui musyawarah dan, jika perlu, pengadilan syariah, untuk memastikan hak konsumen terlindungi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan normatif untuk menganalisis regulasi terkait perlindungan konsumen dalam asuransi syariah, dengan fokus pada prinsip keadilan, transparansi, dan tanggung jawab. Hasil menunjukkan perlunya peningkatan edukasi kepada peserta agar memahami hak dan kewajiban dalam asuransi syariah, serta langkah-langkah yang diperlukan untuk melindungi konsumen secara efektif.

Abstract

UHT (Ultra High Temperature) milk is widely consumed by toddlers due to its practicality, yet concerns remain regarding the high variability of sugar levels and the adequacy of essential nutrients in commercial products. This study aimed to evaluate the total sugar content, non-lactose sugars, main milk composition, thickening agents, prebiotic fiber, and essential fats in UHT milk marketed for children aged 1–5 years, and to assess their compliance with BPOM, WHO, and Codex Alimentarius recommendations. A cross-sectional design was applied, involving purposive sampling of 27 commercially available products from modern retail outlets. Nutrient information was collected through high-resolution documentation of nutrition labels, followed by descriptive–comparative and regulatory benchmarking analyses. The findings indicate that 70.4% of products contained excessive to high total sugar levels (>6 g/100 mL), and only 7.4% met Codex energy-based criteria. UK FSA Front-of-Pack classification similarly showed that 74.1% of products fell into the high-sugar (red) category. Composition analysis revealed substantial variation, with several products relying on water, milk solids, or reconstituted milk instead of fresh milk. Thickening agents such as maltodextrin were present in selected variants, while essential fibers including FOS, GOS, and inulin were found at 1–3 g per serving, contributing up to 15% of toddlers’ daily fiber needs. Total fat content ranged from <2.5% to 6%, and some products included essential fats such as DHA or omega-3. Overall, most UHT milk products for toddlers contained sugar levels exceeding recommended limits and showed inconsistent compliance with nutritional composition standards. Strengthening product formulation, clearer labelling, and regulatory monitoring are needed to support healthier milk choices for toddlers.

Abstract

This study explains the moral representation of friendship and kinship in the animation "مغارمات منصور" on the YouTube channel Magaaramat Manshur through a triadic analysis of the relationship between representamen, object, and interpretant. This study uses a qualitative research method with Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic approach. The analysis was conducted using a literature study method. The material object in this study is the Magaramat Mansur animation series with the theme of Rihlatussaada 1-12, while the formal object in this study is Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotics. The novelty of this study focuses on the morals of kinship and friendship, which are considered the most substantial in friendships and family relationships. The results of the study show six representamen based on moral objects that describe the interpretants of family and friendship morals. The morals represented in this animation are responsibility, compassion, mutual assistance, wisdom, cooperation, and caring. These values are expected to encourage the community to prioritize strengthening morals in children to prevent the degradation of identity in society. By using Piercedi's semiotic theory, it is hoped that this study can fill the void in moral studies in children's literature and encourage further research in the study of children's literature.   تشرح هذه الدراسة التمثيل الأخلاقي للصداقة والأسرة في الرسوم المتحركة ”مغارمات منصور“ على قناة يوتوب أصلية مغارمات منصور من خلال تحليل ثلاثي للعلاقة بين التمثيل والموضوع والتفسير. تستخدم هذه الدراسة طريقة البحث النوعي مع نهج السيميائية لـتسارلز سنديرس بيرس تم إجراء التحليل باستخدام طريقة دراسة الأدبيات. الموضوع المادي في هذه الدراسة هو الرسوم المتحركة مغارمات منصور التي تتناول موضوع رحلة السعادة 1-12، بينما الموضوع المنهجي في هذه الدراسة هو السيميائية التي وضعها تشارلز ساندرز بيرس. وتركز هذه الدراسة على أخلاقيات الصداقة و الأسرة، التي تعتبر الأكثر أهمية في علاقات الصداقة والعائلة. تظهر نتائج الدراسة ستة تمثيلات تستند إلى موضوعات أخلاقية تصف معاني أخلاق الصداقة و الأسرة. الأخلاق الممثلة في هذا الرسوم المتحركة هي المسؤولية والرحمة والولاء و الإكتراث والحكمة والتعاون. ومن المتوقع أن تشجع هذه القيم المجتمع على إعطاء الأولوية لتعزيز الأخلاق لدى الأطفال من أجل منع تدهور الهوية في المجتمع. باستخدام نظرية بيرسيدي السيميائية، من المأمول أن تملأ هذه الدراسة الفراغ في الدراسات الأخلاقية في أدب الأطفال وتشجع على إجراء مزيد من الأبحاث في دراسة أدب الأطفال.   Penelitian ini menjelaskan mengenai representasi moral persahabatan dan kekeluargaan dalam animasi “Magaramat Mansur” pada chanel youtube petualangan Mansur melalui analisis triadik hubungan antara representamen, objek, dan interpretan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Analisis dilakukan dengan metode studi pustaka. Objek material dalam penelitian ini adalah tayangan animasi magaramat mansur dalam tema Rihlatussaada 1-12 sedangkan objek formal dalam penelitian ini adalah semiotika Charles Sanders Pierce. Kebaruan penelitian ini berfokus pada moral kekeluargaan dan persahabatan, dua moral ini diangkat karena dianggap paling substansial dalam hubungan persahabatan dan keluarga. Hasil penetian menunjukan enam representamen berdasarkan objek moral yang mendeskripsikan interpretan moral kekeluargaan dan persahabatan. Moral yang direpresentasikan dalam animasi ini adalah tanggung jawab, kasih sayang, tolong menolong, kebijaksanaan, kerjasama, dan kepedulian. Nilai-nilai tersebut diharapkan dapat mendorong masyarakat untuk mementingkan penguatan moral terhadap anak guna pencegahan degradasi identitas dalam masyarakat. Dengan menggunakan terori semiotika Pierce di harapkan dapat mengisi kekosongan kajian moral dalam sastra anak, serta mendorong penelitian-penelitan selanjutnya pada kajian sastra anak.

Abstract

Tomatoes have thin peels that are susceptible to post-harvest damage, especially in tropical climates such as Indonesia. An effort to prevent damage is cold storage. However, cold storage causes chilling injury to tomato peel. This study aims to develop an edible coating formulation with bagasse and gathot (fermented cassava), and to determine the best treatment of the edible coating by application to tomato at cold storage for 21 days. The research was designed using a completely randomized design (CRD) with a gathot flour concentration of 0.75% and a variation of sugarcane bagasse flour concentration, namely: 0%; 1%; 2%; 3%. The parameters observed were weight loss, pH, total soluble solids and moisture content and analyzed by parametric statistics with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that the edible coating formulation with sugarcane bagasse flour and gathot flour had a significant effect (α < 0.01) on changes in weight loss, total soluble solids, pH and moisture content in tomatoes for 21 days. Edible coating with C1 formulation (sugarcane bagasse flour 1% and gathot flour 0,75%) became the best treatment of this study because it was able to maintain freshness and showed inhibition of chilling injury in tomatoes until day 21 in cold storage.

Abstract

Products with halal certification have become a decisive factor in consumer purchasing decisions, driven by growing public awareness regarding the halal status of food and beverages. This phenomenon aligns with the implementation of the Halal Product Assurance Law that came into effect on October 17, 2019, which is mandatory for all business entities, including large, medium, small, and micro enterprises. In this context, halal supply chains are partly evaluated based on raw materials that comply with halal rules and requirements established by the Indonesian Ulema Council (Majelis Ulama Indonesia / MUI). This situation encourages culinary business operators in Ponorogo Regency to raise awareness about producing food with Halal certification. Satay, as a culinary product with chicken meat as its main component, requires special attention regarding the perspectives of Chicken Slaughterhouse (RPA) business operators on halal certification, given their position as providers of basic ingredients in the production chain. The implementation of these regulations has generated various responses from entrepreneurs, including RPA managers. This study aims to explore the perspectives of RPA managers on the implementation of halal certification in the Ponorogo area and the factors that influence their views. A qualitative approach was applied in this research, with data collection through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The analysis results indicate that external elements play a dominant role in shaping perspectives that subsequently form the basis for individual actions.
