Abstract

Organizational communication is a process that determines the direction of the organization, the occurrence of relationships between members increases good collaboration so that goals are achieved. The pattern of organizational communication is a relationship between two or more people in the process of sending and receiving the right way so that the intended message can be understood. The fact that occurs in the BAZNAS Office is the lack of adequate quality human resources such as lack of responsiveness and ineffective communication flow resulting in misunderstandings between leaders and employees, therefore organizational communication patterns are needed in coordinating service activities in order to produce a good communication process so that the goals of BAZNAS can be achieved. The purpose of this study was to determine organizational communication, communication patterns used, and supporting factors as well as inhibiting factors in the communication process that occurs in the Kampar District BAZNAS Office. This study used qualitative research methods. The subjects of this study were the Head of BAZNAS, Head of Collection Section, Head of Distribution Section, Head of Human and General Resources Section, Field Surveyors and Human and General Resources Staff who were selected using a purposive technique. Data collection techniques consist of observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis technique uses interactive analysis according to Miles and Hubermen. The data validity technique used in this study is the triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that organizational communication patterns in improving service quality at the BAZNAS Office use the Roda pattern, the Chain pattern and the Y pattern. The Wheel pattern is used when conveying orders and controlling each member of the organization directly or via whatsapp media, the information conveyed is related to constraints and requesting solution when there is an urgent matter. The Chain Communication Pattern, namely BAZNAS employees who want to interact with the leadership must go through the heads of their respective sections because the dissemination of information on the chain pattern is formal and gradual in the form of proposals and conveyed through internal leadership meetings. In pattern Y, the information conveyed is related to official information, such as meeting schedules using invitation letters, delivery of information related to overtime work and other general information according to directions from the highest leadership. At the BAZNAS Office the supporting factors are (1) Good personal relationships, (2) Situations and Conditions, (3) Communication Media, (4) Facilities. As well as the inhibiting factors are (1) hierarchy within the organization, (2) technical barriers, (3) human barriers.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting is a short toddler with chronic nutritional problems starting from the fetal condition, namely the age of 0-11 months and toddlers after 12-29 months, stunting will be visible when the baby is 2 years old or the First 1000 Days of Birth, so that the child looks short for his age. stunting can occur due to many factors, namely lack of maternal nutritional intake during pregnancy, lack of education, family economic problems, poor parenting and a less clean environment. The purpose of this study was to describe the Communication Strategy of the Meranti Islands Regency Health Office in preventing stunting in Selatpanjangan Kota Village, Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict and to find out the obstacles of the Communication Strategy of the Meranti Islands Regency Health Office in preventing stunting in Selatpanjang Kota Village, Tebing Tinggi Subdistrict. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation and documentation. As for determining the research subject using Purposive techniques and Accindental techniques. informants in this study amounted to 7 people. While the data analysis technique uses interactive analysis according to Miles and Huberman, namely from collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The data validity technique used in this research is the extension of participation and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that researchers used the strategic communication model from Iriantara, there are 5 elements, namely communicators with criteria, namely people who have high credibility, have attractiveness and power. The audience is all people in Selatpanjang Urban Village, especially pregnant women, nursing mothers, mothers of toddlers and adolescent girls, communication messages conveyed in the form of informative and persuasive. The media used are printed media, namely banners, leaflets and pamphlets, then social media used, namely Instagram @puskesmasselatpanjangkota, facebook Puskesmas Selatpanjang Kota, whatsapp group, namely the pregnant women class group (Kelas Bumil), and the website of the Selatpanjang City health center. There are 3 barriers to communication strategies, namely communicator barriers, media barriers and technological barriers. The results of this study can be a reference material for the Meranti Islands Regency Health Office regarding health communication strategies in the prevention of stunting as the next policy determinant and become information for the community about stunting.

Abstract

Credibility, Attractiveness, and the Authority Leaders As Communicators of EmployeeEthos. The successful tourism development is marked by the number of tourists coming from abroad as,well as domestic to one tourist location. There are many factors which contribute to the success of thistourism sector, among others are the maximum service from the tourism business agencies. The maximumservice which is given to the tourists consists of hotel/inn service and with all of the matters that areinvolved in it. Therefore the role of the leader in motivating his employee is very decisive to the quality ofservice given by the employee. The objective of this research is to examine the influence of credibility,attraction, and the leader authority to the work ethos of hotel employee.

Abstract

Pengelolaan Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) dalam Membangun Citra Perusahaan.Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) merupakan salah satu bentuk strategi PR yang dapat digunakan untukmembentuk citra positif perusahaan dimata stakeholder, oleh karena itu perusahaan dituntut untuk melakukanprogram CSR sesuai dengan Undang-Undang No. 40 tahun 2007. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisisbagaimana PT. CPI dalam mengelola program CSR sehingga mampu membangun citra perusahaan. Metodepenelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dandokumentasi. Hasil penelitiannya adalah aktivitas Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) yang dilakukan PTCPI melalui kegiatan Community Development (CD) berupa program pendidikan, kesehatan, pembangunaninfrastuktur, maupun program Local Business Development (LBD) yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat tidakbertujuan untuk memperoleh keuntungan, melainkan mencari citra positif di mata masyarakat sekitar dandunia. Sedangkan program Community Relation (CR) yang memberikan bantuan dalam bentuk bantuan spontan,seremonial, dan kondisional bertujuan untuk membangun hubungan sosial yang harmonis dengan wargasebagai perwujudan dari hubungan ke masyarakat.Kata Kunci: citra perusahaan, program CSR, hubungan sosial

Abstract

Hampir setiap tahunnya persoalan lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh ulah manusia yang tidakbertanggungjawab terus bermunculan, sebut saja persoalan Banjir yang selalu terjadi pada saat musimpenghujan. Hal ini diperparah dengan kesadaran masyarakat yang masih minim dalam menyikapi permasalahanlimbah rumah tangga seperti sampah. Tidak sampai disitu, kabut asap yang kapanpun bisa terjadimenjadi kekhawatiran sendiri bagi masyarakat Kota Pekanbaru. Maka, Badan Lingkungan Hidup (BLH) KotapEkanbaru membentuk Duta Lingkungan Hidup dalam membantu menjadi corong BLH untuk menyampaikaninformasi kepada masyarakat, khususnya remaja akan pentingnya penjaga lingkungan. Penelitian inibertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) analisis interkasi Duta LIngkungan pada BLH Kota Pekanbaru; (2) hirarkikomunikasi satu arag dan dua arah duta lingkungan pada BLH Kota pekanbaru dan (3) jaringan komunikasiduta lingkungan pada BLH Kota Pekanbaru. Penelitian ini dibedah berdasarkan konsep pola komunikasikelompok dan menggunakan teori interaksi simbolik. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualittaif denganteknik analisis data berdasarkan analisis interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukan interaksiyang terjadi menggunakan bahasa verbal dan non verbal dalam suasana formal dan non formal.Hirraki satu arah berlangsung antara BLH, Duta Lingkungan dan Siswa. Komunikasi dua arah terjadi antaraKoordinator BLH, Duta Lingkungan, dan Siswa. Skema jaringan komunikasi membentuk jaringan melingkar.Terjadi pertukaran makna dan simbol yang sama antar komunikator dan komunikan. Dalam hal ini dutaalingkungan dan siswa sekolah serta BLH Kota pekanbaru.

Abstract

Memasuki MEA 2015, Indonesia dihadapkan dengan begitu banyak tantangan diberbagai bidangkehidupan termasuk bidang pertahanan dan keamanan. Tingginya tindak kriminalitas di Indonesiakhususnya di Pekanbaru disebabkan lemahnya fungsi lembaga social dan lembaga hokum yang berlakudi masyarakat. Ancaman kejahatan tidak hanya bersumber dari dalam negeri tetapi juga dari negeri. MudahnyaWarga Negara Asing lalu lalang di kota Pekanbaru tanpa adanya aturan yang jelas menyebabkantidak sedikit tindak kejahatan dilakukan justru oleh orang asing. Meskipun demikian, hokum yang berlakutetaplah hokum dimana kejahatan tersebut dilakukan dalam penelitian ini Indonesia. Perempuansebagai pelaku tindak kejahatan memiliki resiko baik psikis maupun fisik yang lebih rentan dibandingkanlaki-laki. Untuk kasus Warga Negara Asing yang menjadi narapidana perempuan di Kota Pekanbaru memrlukanusaha lebih dalam proses adaptasi dengan masyarakat pribumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodepenelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan pemilihan informan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, yangmenyeleksi tiga informan terpilih, yaitu seorang KASUBSI Registrasi Lembaga Permasyarakatan kelas IIA Pekanbaru, dan tiga orang Warga Negara Asing. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi,wawancara mendalam, serta dokumentasi. Untuk teknik analisa data, mengacu pada model interaktifHuberman dan Miles. Untuk pemeriksaan keabsahan data menggunakan tehnik perpanjangan keikutsertaandan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunujukkan bahwa pola komunikasi narapidana perempuanWarga Negara Asing terbagi menjadi dua yaitu, Pola komunikasi internal yang menggunakan skema semuasaluran dimana satu sama lain bisa saling berinteraksi dan mempengaruhi, kemudian pola komunikasieksternal menggunakan skema Y dimana mereka menggunakan perantara sebagai penterjemah. Hambatandalam proses komunikasi terdiri dari hambatan internal dan eksternal.

Abstract

Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo merupakan kawasan hutan konservasi alam yangmempunyai ekosistem asli yang dikelola dengan sistem zonasi. Sebagai salah satu hutanyang memiliki keanekaragaman hayati, kawasan Taman Nasional Tesso Nilo tidakluput dari berbagai permasalahan, okupasi berupa perambahan dan illegal loging untukperkebunan serta deforestasi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui aktivitasperambahan dan pola komunikasi lingkungan dalam melakukan konservasi Taman Nasionaltesso Nilo di Kabupaten Pelalawan Provinsi Riau. Metode yang digunakan dalampenelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukanmelalui wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwatipologi perambahan yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat atau perambah dapat dibagimenjadi tiga, yaitu perorangan, kelompok, dan pemodal. Selanjutnya, komunikasilingkungan yang dilakukan Balai Taman Nasional Taman Tesso Nilo dalam melakukankonservasi dan pengelolaan hutan dapat ditinjau dari tiga pola komunikasi, yaitu pertamakomunikasi pre-emtif dengan melakukan komunikasi penyuluhan, sosialisasi danpenguatan terhadap masyarakat sekitar kawasan untuk peduli terhadap kawasan TamanNasional Tesso Nilo. Kedua, komunikasi preventif dengan melakukan patroli danmitigasi konflik satwa liar. Ketiga komunikasi restorasi dan rehabilitasi hutan dan lahan.

Abstract

Konco Street is a family-based mountaineering community that emphasizes solidarity. This community has members with a variety of different backgrounds. The interesting thing about this community is that the members only consist of men, climbing at minimal costs and visiting hidden places that are rarely visited such as waterfalls, lakes and so on. other. The research was conducted in Payakumbuh in the Konco Street mountain climber community. The aim of this research is to find out: 1) the role of group communication members in the Konco Street group communication of the Payakumbuh Mountain Climber Community in establishing solidarity 2) the function of group communication in the Konco Street community 3) communication patterns that occur in the group communication process in the Konco Street Payakumbuh community . This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. This research uses purposive and incidental subject determination techniques and uses interview, observation and documentation data collection techniques. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman technique which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and verification. The data validity checking technique uses the Triangulation technique. The results of this research show that the role of the leader in the group is as a decision maker, mediator when conflict occurs between members, and as a supporter for members both for activities and to maintain solidarity between members. Management in the Konco Street community plays a role in carrying out their respective functions in accordance with the established management structure. In maintaining community solidarity, not only the chairman plays a role, but the management and members also play a big role in this matter. The function of group communication that occurs in the Konco Street community is the function of social relations, the function of education and the function of preliminary solving. The pattern used in Konco Street community group communication is the star pattern where communication occurs in all directions. Every member is free to communicate with anyone without the need for intermediaries.

Abstract

BKKBN, as a non-ministerial state institution, is responsible for controlling population and family growth in Indonesia, which experiences a rapid growth rate every year. Pekanbaru is one of the cities in Riau Province with a high poverty rate that increases every year, which causes economic decline, living needs, and disruption of child nutrition (stunting). This is where the role of BKKBN Pekanbaru City is to overcome these problems through one of its programs, namely the Management and Guidance of Businesses to Increase the Income of Family Aspectors (UPPKA), carried out in the Tunas Harapan Family Planning Village Pekanbaru. The purpose of this research is to find out how the BKKBN extension communication process in implementing the UPPKA program works through the five stages of the innovation diffusion process, which is the theory in this study, namely knowledge, persuasion, decision, implementation, and confirmation. The research method used was descriptive-qualitative, where research informants were selected using purposive techniques. Data collection techniques were through observation, interviews, and documentation, which were then analyzed using the interactive model technique from Miles & Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data validity checking technique uses an extension of participation and triangulation. The results showed that BKKBN's extension communication in implementing the UPPKA program in Tunas Harapan KB Village was through the knowledge of the spector families who were already quite good at the program; persuasion ran with a good process through the provision of tools and training; the content of the UPPKA program was a good reason for the spector families' decision to join the program; the implementation of extension communication was carried out through the implementation of the bazaar; and the benefits offered by the program were a confirmation for the spector families to continue to follow the program. Abstract

Sultan Syarif Kasim International Airport in Pekanbaru City, Riau Province has a very important role in supporting the flow of air traffic between Indonesian regions and the flow of international flight traffic. The high number of users at SSKII Airport from time to time means that service support facilities at the airport terminal are increasingly being improved in order to maintain the comfort of users. However, unfortunately, damage to facilities is still often found, which means that the TIS unit as the person responsible for the facility must immediately deal with the damage so as not to disturb the comfort of users. . This research aims to analyze organizational communication patterns and communication media used by the TIS unit, as well as communication obstacles experienced in dealing with findings of damage to service support facilities at the Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport terminal in Pekanbaru. This research uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were nine people located at Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport, Pekanbaru. Data collection was carried out through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. Apart from that, data validity checking techniques use source triangulation and time triangulation. The research results show that the Terminal Inspections Service (TIS) Unit uses a star communication pattern (all channels) and a chain communication pattern in handling findings of damage to service support facilities at the Sultan Syarif Kasim II Airport terminal in Pekanbaru. The star communication pattern is used within (internal) the TIS unit when coordinating with fellow Officers and Supervisors, while the chain communication pattern is used outside the TIS unit when coordinating with the Assistant Manager and the unit responsible for handling findings of damage to facilities at the airport terminal.
