Abstract

Sumber daya manusia (SDM) memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan keberhasilan pemanfaatan sumber daya alam (SDA) dalam meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kualitas SDM terhadap pemanfaatan SDA serta dampaknya terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif melalui studi kepustakaan (library research) yang bersumber dari jurnal ilmiah, buku, dan referensi relevan lainnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas SDM yang baik, yang ditunjukkan melalui tingkat pendidikan, keterampilan, serta kesadaran lingkungan, mampu meningkatkan efektivitas dan efisiensi dalam pemanfaatan SDA. Selain itu, SDM yang berkualitas juga mendorong inovasi dan pemanfaatan teknologi sehingga menghasilkan nilai tambah ekonomi yang lebih tinggi. Pemanfaatan SDA yang didukung oleh SDM yang kompeten tidak hanya berorientasi pada keuntungan jangka pendek, tetapi juga memperhatikan aspek keberlanjutan lingkungan. Sebaliknya, rendahnya kualitas SDM dapat menyebabkan pengelolaan SDA yang tidak optimal, eksploitasi berlebihan, kerusakan lingkungan, serta rendahnya kemampuan adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi. Dengan demikian, peningkatan kualitas SDM melalui pendidikan, pelatihan, dan pemberdayaan masyarakat menjadi faktor kunci dalam mendukung pengelolaan SDA yang berkelanjutan dan peningkatan perekonomian masyarakat. Sinergi antara pemerintah, masyarakat, dan lembaga pendidikan sangat diperlukan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi SDA secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Natural resource management is an important aspect in achieving sustainable development to ensure human welfare both in the present and future generations. Generation Z, as a digital-native generation, has significant potential in managing natural resources innovatively and adaptively. This research aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities faced by Generation Z in natural resource management. This study uses a qualitative approach using a literature review method, with data collected from books, scientific journals, and academic publications. The findings reveal that Generation Z faces several challenges, including a consumptive lifestyle and low environmental awareness. In addition, the overexploitation of natural resources remains a major problem contributing to environmental degradation. However, Generation Z also has considerable opportunities through the use of digital technology and environmental innovation. Therefore, Generation Z plays an important role as agents of change in promoting sustainable management of natural resources through technological advances and increased environmental awareness.

Abstract

Human resources play a crucial role in managing natural resources to support sustainable economic growth. The increasing exploitation of natural resources without proper management has led to environmental degradation and reduced long-term economic benefits. Therefore, the presence of competent, skilled, and responsible human resources is essential to ensure that natural resource management is conducted efficiently and sustainably. This study aims to analyze the role of human resources in managing natural resources and their impact on economic growth. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature review by examining various relevant scientific sources. The results indicate that human resources contribute significantly through innovation, technology utilization, environmental awareness, and policy implementation in natural resource management. Effective human resource management can enhance productivity, maintain environmental balance, and create sustainable economic value. In conclusion, the quality of human resources is a key factor in optimizing natural resource management to achieve stable and sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Cooperatives are one of the economic institutions that play a strategic role in efforts to empower the community's economy. The principles of togetherness, kinship, and member participation make cooperatives a forum capable of strengthening the community's economy, especially small and medium-sized enterprises. However, there are still various economic problems in the community such as limited capital, low access to markets, and lack of business management skills. These conditions make it difficult for the community to develop their businesses optimally. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the role of cooperatives as a solution for community economic empowerment. The method used is a literature study by examining various relevant scientific sources.The study results show that cooperatives play a role in increasing access to capital, developing members' businesses, creating jobs, and improving community welfare. Therefore, cooperatives can become a solution in community economic empowerment if managed professionally and supported by active member participation.

Abstract

The development of the digital economy provides opportunities for cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia to expand the market, increase efficiency, and strengthen competitiveness. However, digital transformation in this sector still faces various obstacles. This study aims to examine the dynamics of obstacles faced by cooperatives and MSMEs in the digital economy era. The method used is a qualitative approach through literature studies with data sources from relevant journals, books, and research reports. The results of the study show that the main obstacles include low digital literacy, limited access to technology and infrastructure, limited business capital, and low managerial capacity in utilizing digital platforms. This condition hinders the optimization of the potential of the digital economy. Therefore, support from the government, educational institutions, and the private sector is needed through training, mentoring, and the provision of access to technology and financing so that cooperatives and MSMEs are able to adapt and compete in the digital era..

Abstract

Student cooperatives play an important role in enhancing entrepreneurial spirit within higher education institutions. This study is motivated by the low interest of students in entrepreneurship and the need to create graduates who are not only job seekers but also job creators. Student cooperatives serve as practical learning platforms that provide direct experience in managing businesses, improving managerial skills, and fostering independence and creativity. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the role of student cooperatives in increasing students’ entrepreneurial spirit. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that student cooperatives function as a medium for entrepreneurship education, business practice, and character development. Therefore, student cooperatives can be an important factor in promoting sustainable entrepreneurial spirit among students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the passive behavior of students in taking roles in academic and organizational forums and its implications for human resource development (HR). A phenomenon that often occurs shows that students tend to wait for appointments rather than actively volunteer, both in organizational activities, class discussions, and when given the opportunity to express their opinions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations of students involved in academic and organizational activities. The results showed that students' passive behavior was influenced by several factors, including low self-confidence, fear of social judgment, and a learning culture that lacked active participation. In addition, the academic environment that has not fully supported the courage to speak out has also strengthened this tendency. The implication of this phenomenon is the inhibition of the development of human resources who are proactive, innovative, and have leadership skills. Therefore, efforts are needed from educational institutions to create a more participatory environment to improve the quality of human resources in the future.

Abstract

Perkembangan Pertumbuhan sektor industri merupakan salah satu faktor penting dalam pembangunan ekonomi daerah karena mampu meningkatkan aktivitas produksi, investasi, dan kesempatan kerja bagi masyarakat. Kabupaten Pasuruan sebagai salah satu kawasan industri di Provinsi Jawa Timur mengalami perkembangan industri yang cukup pesat dalam beberapa tahun terakhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pertumbuhan sektor industri terhadap penyerapan tenaga kerja lokal di Kabupaten Pasuruan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi literatur dan analisis data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), jurnal ilmiah, dan penelitian terdahulu. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertumbuhan sektor industri berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan penyerapan tenaga kerja lokal. Peningkatan jumlah industri pengolahan, investasi, dan kegiatan produksi mendorong terciptanya lapangan kerja baru bagi masyarakat. Namun demikian, penyerapan tenaga kerja lokal masih menghadapi berbagai kendala seperti rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia, ketidaksesuaian keterampilan dengan kebutuhan industri, serta persaingan tenaga kerja dari luar daerah. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan kerja sama antara pemerintah daerah, dunia industri, dan lembaga pendidikan untuk meningkatkan kualitas tenaga kerja lokal melalui pelatihan kerja, pendidikan vokasi, dan pengembangan keterampilan berbasis industri.

Abstract

This study explores the state of natural resources and human resources in Pasuruan City and their relationship in supporting the pace of regional economic growth. The city of Pasuruan has significant potential for the application of natural resources, especially in the fisheries, agriculture, industry, and tourism sectors. Its favorable geographical position also contributes to the development of the economic activities of the local community. However, the use of natural resources has not been fully maximized because there are various challenges, especially related to the low quality of human resources in some regions. Low education, skills, experience, and lack of training and application of technology are obstacles in the efficient and sustainable management of natural resources. In addition, environmental issues such as pollution and overexploitation of resources are also issues that need attention. This study applies a qualitative descriptive method by analyzing the state of natural resources and human resources in Pasuruan City based on various data sources and relevant discussions. The findings of the study show that the relationship between natural resources and human resources is very close, because the success of natural resource management is greatly influenced by the quality of human resources as the main manager. Therefore, it is necessary to make various efforts to improve the quality of human resources through education, training, technology utilization, strengthening business institutions, and sustainable natural resource management. With the improvement of the quality of human resources and good natural resource management, it is hoped that regional economic growth can increase and the welfare of the people of Pasuruan City can be achieved in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Tourism has a strategic role in regional development because it can drive economic growth, create jobs, and strengthen local cultural identity. Andonosari Village, Tutur District, Pasuruan Regency, is an area with great natural and cultural tourism potential, but its development has not been optimal so that its contribution to the community's economy is still limited. This study aims to formulate a strategy for developing tourism potential to increase the existence of ecotourism while encouraging the economic growth of village communities. The focus of the research is directed at how the right strategy can link the sustainability of ecotourism with community welfare. The research method uses a qualitative phenomenological approach with subjects of village officials, Pokdarwis, tourism business actors, and community leaders. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed through stages of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that ecotourism development strategies include five main aspects: strengthening village institutions and Pokdarwis, increasing human resource capacity, sustainable utilization of natural and cultural potential, digital promotion, and collaboration with the government and external stakeholders. The conclusion confirms that this strategy not only strengthens the existence of ecotourism in Andonosari Village, but also improves the community's economy through increasing residents' income, opening new job opportunities, and developing local MSMEs.
