Abstract

Abstract

Abstract Rendahnya jumlah publikasi ilmiah bereputasi dari kalangan dosen perguruan tinggi swasta masih menjadi persoalan mendasar dalam ekosistem akademik Indonesia.

Abstract

This study proposes a conceptual framework for sustainability accounting grounded in Islamic values of love and compassion (mawaddah and rahmah). Employing a qualitative library research methodology, the study synthesizes classical Islamic sources—the Quran, Hadith, and juristic principles—alongside contemporary sustainability literature encompassing GRI standards and ESG frameworks. The analysis identifies five foundational elements of an Islamic sustainability accounting framework: (1) accountability toward all of creation (rahmah); (2) balance across economic, social, and environmental dimensions (tawazun); (3) intergenerational compassion (maslahah and amanah); (4) transparency as an expression of love and honesty (sidq); and (5) ethical consumption and production (qana'ah and itqan). The proposed framework is not merely normative but offers actionable sustainability reporting indicators applicable across diverse organizational contexts. This study contributes an epistemological dimension to Islamic accounting theory by integrating spiritual and ethical values into sustainability reporting practice, thereby enriching the broader discourse on accountable, inclusive, and equitable sustainable development.

Abstract

The rapid development of live streaming commerce has transformed online shopping behavior by integrating real-time interaction, social engagement, and entertainment into a single digital shopping environment. This study aims to examine the influence of live streaming commerce interactivity and social presence on impulsive buying through the mediating role of perceived enjoyment among Generation Z consumers. This research employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 120 Generation Z consumers who had watched and purchased products through live-shopping features. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) by evaluating the measurement model and structural model. The results indicate that live streaming commerce interactivity and social presence positively and significantly influence perceived enjoyment. Furthermore, both variables also have a direct positive effect on impulsive buying, while perceived enjoyment demonstrates the strongest influence on spontaneous purchasing behavior. The mediation analysis confirms that perceived enjoyment partially mediates the relationship between interactivity and social presence with impulsive buying. These findings support the Stimulus–Organism–Response (S-O-R) framework by demonstrating that technological and social stimuli within live-commerce environments shape consumers' emotional experiences, which subsequently influence purchasing responses. This study provides practical implications for live-commerce platforms and sellers to enhance interactive features, social engagement, and enjoyable shopping experiences to encourage consumer involvement and purchasing decisions.

Abstract

After-sales service (ASS) and service recovery (SR) are increasingly recognized as critical elements in sustaining customer satisfaction and supplier credibility. While prior studies have examined these concepts across consumer and manufacturing sectors, their specific role in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) remains underexplored, particularly within the Indonesian context. ICS represents a high-value, capital-intensive asset that requires continuous operation and long-term supplier support, making after-sales activities a strategic necessity. This study aims to analyze the extent to which ASS and SR contribute to strengthening customer satisfaction and safeguarding supplier reputation in the ICS sector. Unlike earlier research that largely repackages established concepts, this paper critically frames the unique challenges of ICS such as warranty limitations, post-warranty risks, and the vulnerability of installed bases to highlight gaps in both theory and practice. The methodology employed is a structured literature review, drawing from peer-reviewed journals indexed in Scopus, Google Scholar, and Semantic Scholar, complemented with ICS technical references and supplier documentation. From this synthesis, the paper develops a conceptual framework positioning ASS and SR as antecedents of customer satisfaction, which subsequently reinforces supplier reputation and long-term loyalty in capital-intensive industries. The study concludes that effective ASS and SR are not only operational requirements but also strategic levers that determine competitiveness. By contextualizing these concepts within ICS in Indonesia, the research contributes a more critical perspective and offers both theoretical insights and practical implications for sustaining supplier–customer relationships.
