Abstract

Hasil survei pendahuluan menemukan bahwa wanita yang telah menjalani operasi sectio Caesaria telah direkomendasikan oleh dokter dan perawat untuk mengkonsumsi putih telur. Tahap akhir dari fase inflamasi tidak menunjukkan tanda-tanda kemerahan, hangat pada kulit, edema dan nyeri pada hari ketiga. Namun, beberapa orang tidak mempercayainya karena pasien tidak mengetahui manfaat dari konsumsi telur untuk mempercepat penyembuhan luka. Selain itu, persepsi yang berkembang di masyarakat menyatakan bahwa makanan yang mengandung protein seperti telur akan membuat jahitan menjadi gatal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh konsumsi putih telur terhadap penyembuhan luka pasca operasi sectio Caesarea di ruang nifas Rumah Sakit Patar Asih Lubuk Pakam. Jenis penelitian ini adalah survei analitik dengan desain Quasi Experiment. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 20 ibu post op sectio ceaseria pada hari pertama setelah operasi di Rumah Sakit Patar Asih Lubuk Pakam. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan non probability sampling dan metode pengumpulan data adalah observasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji paired samples t-test. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian diperoleh statistik p-value ≤ 0,05 yaitu, p = 0,008, yang berarti ada pengaruh mengonsumsi putih telur pada penyembuhan luka pasca operasi sectio Caesaria. Dianjurkan untuk menggunakan putih telur sebagai terapi diet pada pasien pasca Sectio Caesarea.

Abstract

A versatile method for the construction of reproducible and high selective uric acid biosensor is explained. Electrodeposited polytyramine is used as biosensor matrixes due to its compatibility to immobilize enzyme uric oxidase in the membrane electrode. The precise control over the charge passed during deposition of polytyramine allows concomitant control over the thickness of the deposited enzyme layers onto the surface of the electrode. The uric acid biosensor showed a sensitive response to uric acid with a linear calibration curve lies in the concentration range of 0.1–2.5 mM, slope 0.066 µA mM-1, and the limit detection was 0.01 mM uric acid (S/N = 3). The biosensor shown excellent reproducibility, the variation between response curves for uric acid lies between RSD 1% at low concentrations and up to RSD 6% at saturation concentration. Uric acid biosensor is free from normal interference. The biosensor showed good stability and to be applicable to determine uric acid in real samples. Analysis of uric acid in the reference standard serum samples by the biosensor method are all agreed with the real value from supplier. Standard samples were also analyzed independently by two methods: the present biosensor method and the standard UV-Vis spectrophotometry method, gave a correlation coefficient of 0.994. This result confirms that the biosensor method meets the rigid demands expected for uric acid in real samples.

Abstract

This research has a goal, namely to develop a project-based learning resource innovation in the form of Module in distillation subjects. in order to know its effectiveness to improve critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes. The model used in this research is ADDIE with three cycles in the implementation phase. The results of the development of project-based MFIs have an average according to BSNP standards = 85% with very feasible criteria and an N-gain score of 0.77, the proportion of 77.8% which states that project-based MFIs have high effectiveness. The field trial of the first cycle of the project design obtained the same value with M1 = 50; M2 = 89.37; M3 = 90.48; M4 = score 90.66 M4 > M3 > M2 >M1 which shows an increase in students' abilities in the refining learning process. the results of the pretest and posttest obtained the results of Mpostes = 46.25 and Mpostes = 88.23, so the test results show t count > t table which means H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. project development results. based on the results of the calculation of the correlation between critical thinking skills and student learning outcomes obtained rxy count = 0.0066 with rxy table = 0.497 so that rxy count < rxy table then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted with a positive correlation level with the conclusion that there is a relationship between critical thinking ability and student learning outcomes taught by the LKM developed on distillation material.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sumber belajar inovatif berbasis proyek dan multimedia untuk membangun kemampuan berpikir mahasiswa dalam mengajar Analisis Kation. Penelitian ini meliputi analisis kebutuhan sumber belajar pegangan mahasiswa, tahapan perancangan dan inovasi yang dilakukan pada sumber belajar inovatif berbasis proyek dan multimedia, dan standarisasi sumber belajar inovatif yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan angket BSNP yang dinilai oleh dosen ahli materi dan media. Hasil analisis kebutuhan yang dilakukan pada mahasiswa menunjukkan bahwa sumber belajar yang digunakan belum dapat memotivasi mahasiswa belajar secara mandiri sehingga dibutuhkan sebuah sumber belajar yang mampu mengembangkan pengetahuan dan unjuk kerja mahasiswa agar lebih kreatif dan berpotensi membuat pembelajaran lebih menarik. Inovasi yang dilakukan pada sumber belajar inovatif berupa materi ajar, video proyek, paket proyek dan soal latihan yang dikemas dalam sebuah multimedia yaitu Kvisoft flipbook maker. Hasil standarisasi sumber belajar inovatif berbasis proyek memperoleh skor 3,70 dengan kategori valid dan tidak perlu direvisi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sumber belajar inovatif berbasis proyek dan multimedia sudah layak untuk diimplementasikan pada proses pembelajaran analisis kation.

Abstract

Perbaikan pembelajaran berkelanjutan diperlukan guru yang dapat dilakukan melalui publikasi hasil penelitian. Kenyataan menunjukkan bahwa guru masih sedikit menulis artikel hasil penelitian disebabkan oleh kurangnya pengalaman menulis artikel ilmiah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini maka Universitas Negeri Medan melakukan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru menulis artikel ilmiah melalui pengubahan hasil penelitian menjadi artikel ilmiah standar yang siap dikirimkan ke Jurnal Ilmiah. Kegiatan dilakukan melibatkan 83 guru dari 23 kabupaten dan Kota mitra kerjasama. Tahapan yang dilakukan meliputi (1) mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru menulis artikel ilmiah, (2) Mempersiapkan materi pelatihan sesuai kharakteristik guru, (3) Melatihan dan mendampingi guru mengubah laporan penelitian tindakan kelas menjadi artikel, dan (4) Mengukur  kompetensi guru menyelesaikan draft artikel. Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilakukan dengan baik secara online agar dapat menjangkau  Guru di berbagai wilayah Sumatra Utara. Tahap awal adalah pembekalan dan pengayaan teori menulis artikel melalui penyampaian tujuh paket modul pelatihan. Tahap lanjutan adalah pendampingan menyelesaikan draft artikel selama satu bulan sesuai kemampuan dan motivasi peserta. Sebanyak 83 guru menyelesaikan pelatihan awal, sebanyak 49 guru melanjutkan pendampingan, 9 guru menyelesaikan draft artikel, dan 5 judul artikel sudah submit di Jurnal ilmiah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) cooperative model based on question cards and snakes and ladders on redox reaction material in class X SMA Negeri 14 Medan. The research sample consisted of two classes, namely the experimental class I was treated using snake ladder media and the experimental class II was treated using question card media. This research is a pretest-posttest control group design. This study uses a test instrument that has been tested and has been valid. Data on student learning outcomes were tested for normality and homogeneity, the results obtained by both samples were normally distributed and homogeneously distributed. Hypothesis testing was carried out using a two-party t-test with the results of this study at a significance level of 5% (α=0.05) indicating that t_(count ) > t (2.127 > 2.002) then Ho was rejected. This shows that there are differences in learning outcomes using cooperative learning models of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type based on question cards and snakes and ladders on redox material

Abstract

Developing a learning model at an early stage requires a needs analysis to identify the needs required by teachers, students and the applicable curriculum. This research aims find out how to implement learning models in schools in order to accommodate the learning needs of the 21st Century. The research subjects were chemistry teachers and students studying chemistry at high school level in Southwest Aceh Regency, Aceh Province. Overall, the research used the ADDIE approach, initial analysis carried out data collection using a questionnaire in the form of a questionnaire distributed via Google Form. The data obtained is the first step in further research. Based on the research results obtained, 64.3% of teachers have implemented learning that stimulates students to think at a higher level. as many as 51.7% of teachers have implemented learning models in teaching chemistry; 78.6% knew something about STEM learning, 7.1% did not know; as many as 57.1% have tried STEM learning but 50% are not satisfied with the results achieved; 85.5% acknowledged difficulties in implementing STEM in the classroom; 50% believe the STEM model influences students' thinking skills; 92.9% need a STEM integrated project learning model book. Meanwhile, of the students who obtained the results: 42.5% stated that they had difficulty understanding chemistry; 92.5% are happy if chemistry learning is connected to the real world; 92.5% stated that school textbooks were a learning resource; 55% experienced learning obstacles based on school learning resources; 90% need a learning model that connects chemical material with the real world.

Abstract

Abstract:        This study is a Research and Development (R&D) aimed at developing project-based innovative learning resources in the form of E-LKM on the topic of Chromatography with the goal of assessing its effectiveness in improving critical thinking skills and students' learning outcomes. The development method used is the ADDIE model with 3 cycles of implementation stages. The development results indicate that the project-based E-LKM has an average total feasibility score of BSNP = 3.85, categorized as very feasible, and an N-gain score of 0.72, equivalent to a percentage of 72%, indicating high effectiveness. During field trials, there was an increase in the average scores M4 > M3 > M1, indicating an improvement in students' abilities in the Chromatography teaching process. Hypothesis testing results show a significant difference between students' learning outcomes before and after using the developed project-based innovative learning resources. Additionally, based on the correlation calculation between critical thinking skills and students' learning outcomes, it was found that there is a significant positive correlation. Thus, it can be concluded that project-based innovative learning resources are effective in improving students' learning outcomes, and there is a correlation between critical thinking skills and students' learning outcomes in the context of teaching chromatography.Keywords:      Innovative Learning Resources, E-LKM (Electronic Learning Module), PjBL (Project-Based Learning), Critical Thinking Skills, Chromatography.

Abstract

Chemistry learning contains abstract concepts that require understanding through three levels of representation. So that innovative learning media is needed that supports the achievement of concepts learned in chemistry, especially in acid-base material. This research aims to develop and implement PhET virtual laboratory-based learning media to build student activeness in learning and improve student learning outcomes in learning the topic of Acid-Base. The use of this innovative learning media is supported by a project-based learning model. This research was conducted by research and development (RnD) with the procedures of define, design, development, and implementation. The research includes the development of PhET laboratory-based learning media, standardization of learning media, and implementation to students in class XI MIPA SMA Negeri 5 Medan, SMA Negeri 1 Habinsaran and SMA Negeri 1 Borbor in sample classes, namely Control class and Experiment Class. The feasibility of the learning media measured 87.06% with a very feasible category. The results of the media implementation can be seen in the N-gain value in the experimental class higher than the control class with a value at SMA Negeri 5 Medan 60.9%, SMA Negeri 1 Habinsaran 68.69%, and SMA Negeri 1 Borbor 67.03% with each in the effective category.

Abstract

The availability of learning resources is an important component in lectures so that students can learn chemistry optimally and maximize their potential. The aim of this research is to describe the results of interviews and questionnaires analyzing learning resource needs by lecturers and students regarding learning gas chromatography in separation chemistry courses at Medan State University. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The respondents were one scholarship chemistry lecturer and 30 Chemistry Department students who had taken separation chemistry courses. This research instrument uses interview sheets and needs analysis questionnaires presented on the Google Form platform. Data analysis techniques by describing data from interviews and questionnaires regarding the need for gas chromatography learning resources are explained in detail. The results of this research are that students need learning resources in the form of open materials and virtual laboratories to support the learning process in separation chemistry subjects, especially gas chromatography. The learning resources in question are project-based learning resources that can be accessed online/digitally, containing gas chromatography teaching materials, equipped with examples of relevant contextual projects, illustrations with virtual laboratory media integration, hyperlinks to trusted websites, problem solving tests and evaluations. able to make students very enthusiastic about working on projects, completing and submitting reports correctly so that they can improve their learning outcomes and skills in gas chromatography material. It is hoped that the results of the analysis can be used as a basis for developing learning resources according to student needs.
