Abstract

Bulu ayam merupakan sampah hasil penyembelihan ayam pedaging, apabila tidak segera diolah dapat menimbulkan pencemaran lingkungan. Namun limbah bulu ayam memiliki potensi ekonomi yang menjanjikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan dilakukan eksperimen terhadap limbah bulu ayam, diolah menjadi sebuah material dinding sehingga dibutuhkan perlakuan dan komposisi yang tepat dalam membentuknya menjadi material dinding ramah lingkungan. Metodenya adalah rekayasa eksperimental dengan penggunaan limbah bulu ayam yang sudah dibersihkan dan di cacah sebagai bahan baku utama dan dua bahan perekat alternatif yang digunakan (PVAc dan Semen putih). Hasil dari beberapa eksperimen ditemukan komposisi dan perlakuan yang tepat dalam membentuk material limbah bulu ayam menjadi panel dinding menyatu dengan baik yakni dengan bulu ayam dicacah halus dan pembentukan panel komposisi 70% bulu ayam : 30% + air. Produk penelitian ini kedepan dapat menjadi material baru dalam pemenuhan akan material dinding bangunan yang berkualitas dan ekonomi, serta memberi referensi baru dibidang arsitektur tentang salah satu alternatif material ramah lingkungan.

Abstract

Dengan perkembangan akan kebutuhan manusia baik itu kebutuhan yang hubungan antara sesama manusia juga kebutuhan akan hubungan manusia dengan pencipta-Nya. Dengan demikian perlu adanya kegiatan untuk mengkaji ruang shalat sebagai fungsi utama ditinjau dari syarat ruang peribadatan Islam. Kajian ini dilakukan pada Masjid Al Markaz Al Islami yang merupakan masjid utama, menampung berbagai macam kegiatan keagamaan dan sosial. Dengan adanya kompeksitas ruang, diharapkan ketentuan mendasar yang berkaitan dengan fungsi utama tidak terabaikan, seperti kesucian tempat, arah kiblat, pemisahan gender, pengaturan shaf, mihrab dan mimbar, dan perangkat pelengkap ruang shalat lainnya. Ada sedikit kekurangan pada aspek kesucian tempat yaitu batas antara area suci dan najis yang diinterpretasikan dengan memberikan perbedaan warna dan tekstur lantai, dan ketinggiannya, secara visual masih belum cukup ditangkap oleh para jamaah. Begitu juga dengan aspek pengaturan shaf yang menjadi sedikit lebih renggang karena keberadaan permadani dengan motif yang bersekat-sekat dan akustik ruang yang masih terdengar gaung, dengan jarak yang masih bisa ditolerans

Abstract

Chicken meat, we consume has feathers and is a waste, if it is not processed it can result in environmental pollution. Chicken slaughter waste produces an average featherweight of 4-9% of live weight, so technology and methods are needed to reduce threats to the environment. The potential of chicken feathers has been used to fill pillows, make feather dusters and accessories, and is still underutilized as wall material, so researchers will develop the process into wall panel material, applying it to the field of architecture. The purpose of the research is chicken feather waste, which will be processed and developed into a building wall material, so it is necessary to investigate and analyze the surface topography of the panel before it is applied as a wall material. Previous research has known that the density value of chicken feather panels is 0.4, the category of rigid soft fiberboard material. The material scanning engineering method is carried out in the Microstructure laboratory to determine the surface topography of the material before it is applied as a wall material. The results of testing the chicken feather panel material can be recommended as a new alternative material in the architectural field.

Abstract

Design is a creation to obtain a result by taking an explicit action or a product of something with a physical reality. Building Materials Sales Center is a commercial building unit that is used as a building materials sales center that is established at a location that is planned, considered, initiated, and managed to become an operational unit related to the site, size, type of building, and the area of ​​expenditure of the team. This unit also provides parking lots that are made according to the kind of size the total required land requirement is As for those who follow development standards to fulfill building functions, as well as use buildings for a long time by choosing quality building materials and are willing to use delivery services from outside the city, as well as from outside Sulawesi, where shipping costs are pretty expensive.

Abstract

Kelompok Tani "Tanah Bonto" Desa Borisalli saat ini masih kurang memanfaatkan sumber daya alam seperti matahari sebagai sumber daya terbarukan, serta kurang memahami IPTEK terkait panel surya untuk penerangan jalan desa. Di sisi lain, Desa Borisallo memiliki potensi wilayah yang cukup bagus dalam penyinaran matahari yang stabil. Tujuan pelaksanaan PKM yakni memberikan pengenalan, penyuluhan dan pelatihan pada mitra Kelompok Tani “Tanah Bonto” Desa Borisallo untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dalam mengembangkan teknologi energi baru terbarukan berupa penerapan panel surya untuk penerangan jalan desa, sehingga dapat membantu masyarakak untuk tetap beraktivitas di malam hari. Selain itu, memberikan motivasi dalam pengetahuan kewirausahaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan PKM ini menggunakan metode ceramah dan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan eksperimen dan demonstrasi tentang langkah-langkah perakitan dan pengoperasian panel surya yang digunakan untuk penerangan jalan desa. Pelaksanaan PKM yang telah dilakukan, terlaksana dengan baik. Respon serta partisipasi mitra Kelompok Tani "Tanah Bonto" sangat baik, bahkan ikut ambil bagian dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan mulai dari sosialisasi, pelatihan, hingga uji coba dan pemasangan secara gotong royong. Pemasangan panel surya dilakukan di 9 (sembilan) titik jalan desa didampingi Tim PKM. Kapasitas lampu sebesar 300 Watt. Lampu ini dapat menerangi jalan desa dengan ukuran tinggi tiang rata-rata 4 meter. Dan berkat aktifitas masyarakat di malam hari pun meningkat. Sumber daya manusia (SDM) Kelompok Tani "Tanah Bonto", mengalami peningkatan. Selain itu, pemahaman kewirausahaan juga semakin baik.

Abstract

Abstract According to Winslow and APHA, a healthy home is defined as a place to live permanently. Serves as a place to live, rest, recreation (relax) and as a shelter from environmental influences that meet physiological, psychological requirements and are free from disease transmission. Too many occupants can increase the risk of transmission of infectious diseases. The house is a physical structure consisting of rooms, courtyards and the surrounding area which is used as a place to live and a means of fostering a family (RI Law No. 4 of 1992). According to WHO, a house is a physical structure or building for shelter, where the environment is useful for physical and spiritual health and social conditions for both the health of families and individuals. (WHO Commission on Health and the Environment, 2001).Objective: Increase the understanding of the people of Tadenas Village regarding the importance of healthy homes and thermal comfort as well as the health effects arising from housing conditions that do not meet predetermined standards. Methods: Conduct situation analysis, problem prioritization, instrument development, and determinant surveys related to healthy homes. The intervention was carried out for the community in the Tadenas Village by measuring temperature, humidity and wind speed. Then an assessment is carried out through the results of measurements and standards that should be so that it becomes a healthy home.Results: The low implementation of healthy housing in Tadenas Village is caused by a lack of knowledge and attitudes of the community towards the importance of meeting housing conditions standards.Conclusion: Based on measurements with lower middle class housing conditions, the knowledge and attitude of the community towards the importance of fulfilling standard housing conditions to achieve a healthy home is still very low

Abstract

This PKM aims to, (1) provide residents with a solution for chicken feather waste which has not been utilized so far, to be managed and used as wall material, in order to increase knowledge, skills and mastery of technology in the use of chicken feather waste into panel material. (2) training and assistance to improve skills and additional income for residents in the application of feather panels for village office room dividers to improve services to the community. The method used is material engineering by processing chicken feather waste into wall panel material to increase residents' skills and resources in the ability to process waste into wall products for making room dividers in village offices in order to improve citizen services, this is in accordance with government programs related to focus. Indonesia's sustainable development, namely the Green economy.

Abstract

Borisallo Village is a highland area in the Parangloe sub-district, Gowa Regency, where many broiler chicken business actors have less knowledge to utilize the chicken feather waste properly, which can lead to environmental pollution. This PkM activity aims to provide education and training regarding the use and processing of chicken feather waste as an alternative material, which can be used directly by residents to improve their skills and knowledge in the use of chicken feather waste and to save the surrounding environment. The activity was held on 6-8 September 2023 in the Borisallo Village Office Yard, which was attended by around 15 participants including broiler chicken business actors, PKK members, Village officials, and members of the local Village Extension Agency. The method used was the Service Learning (SL) method, which provided the public with an understanding of the benefits of chicken feather waste based on the research results conducted previously, then held training and assistance regarding processing chicken feather waste into environmentally friendly alternative materials. The results showed that the objective of the activity was achieved in the form of increasing the knowledge and skills of the community regarding processing chicken feather waste. This can be seen from the panels made by the community had good quality according to the manufacturing procedures. The conclusion from this activity is that the community has the potential to support government programs related to Indonesia's sustainable development focus, namely the Green Economy.

Abstract

Chicken aging is a food that is consumed by almost every community, because the price is quite affordable and delicious. This results in considerable feather waste and if not processed properly can result in environmental pollution. Feather waste is produced on average 6% of the weight, so processing technology or creativity is needed in its utilization. For the development of science and technology, research has been conducted on the processing of chicken feather waste into building materials in the form of wall panels. The results of the research are expected to meet the needs of building materials and become an alternative wall panel material. Its abundant availability provides new references in science in the field of architecture and information on environmentally friendly materials. In 2021, the PKM team has provided education about the use of chicken feathers as an environmentally friendly panel material to Borisallo Village residents. As a follow-up, the PKM activity implementation team again carried out activities in the form of training in processing chicken feather waste into panels. The results of these activities can increase the knowledge and skills of Borisallo Village residents in processing and producing wall panels from chicken feather-based materials.

Abstract

Keberadaan Bulu Ayam yang merupakan limbah dari rumah potong ayam yang setiap haridiproduksi dan masih belum banyak dimanfaatkan. Jumlah akan limbah bulu ayam saat ini cukupbesar karena daya beli dan minat masyarakat dalam menkomsumsi daging ayam sangat tinggi,mulai dari kalangan menengah sampai kalangan atas. Terlihat dari restoran sampai kepadawarung pinggir jalan menunya tidak lepas dari daging ayam, sehingga akan menimbulkan limbahyang cukup besar dan apabila tidak dimanfaatkan atau diolah akan berakibat pada pencemaranlingkungan, bau yang tidak sedap, sehinga peneliti dan tim yang melibatkan mahasiswamelakukan pengabdian kepada masyrakat dengan mitra memberikan sosialisasi kepada wargadan para pelaku usaha rumah potong ayam, bahwa limbah bulu ayam tersebut dapatdimanfaankan sebagai material bahan bangunan berupa material dinding panel yang ekonomisdan ramah lingkungan. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan memsosialisasikan manfaat limbahbulu ayam sebagai bahan panel dinding kepada warga dengan perogram implementasi MerdekaBelajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dan pemberdayaan sumber daya masyarakat danpengembangannya.
