Abstract

Jepara merupakan daerah di pesisir utara Jawa Tengah yang memiliki kekayaan budaya berupa seni ukir kayu dan kuliner tradisional yang berakar dari kearifan lokal. Meskipun kuliner tradisional Jepara memiliki potensi besar sebagai identitas budaya sekaligus penggerak ekonomi masyarakat melalui UMKM, upaya promosi masih menghadapi keterbatasan terutama pada aspek digital branding. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang konsep website digital branding kuliner tradisional Jepara dengan menggunakan metode Scrum sebagai kerangka pengembangan sistem yang bersifat iteratif dan adaptif. Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara dengan pelaku UMKM kuliner tradisional untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan sistem. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar penjual telah memiliki akses teknologi dan internet, namun hanya sedikit yang memanfaatkan media digital sebagai sarana promosi dan transaksi. Hasil rancangan berupa flowchart, use case diagram, serta desain antarmuka berbasis Figma yang dikembangkan melalui tahapan Scrum (product backlog, sprint planning, dan sprint backlog). Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar implementasi website sebagai media promosi dan branding kuliner tradisional Jepara yang lebih modern, interaktif, dan berdaya saing.

Abstract

This study focuses on designing and implementing a High Availability (HA) architecture for a web application built with CodeIgniter using Amazon Web Services (AWS). The objective is to enhance system reliability while minimizing downtime. A prototype-based research method is applied, allowing iterative development, testing, and evaluation of the system. The proposed architecture utilizes an Application Load Balancer (ALB) to distribute incoming traffic efficiently, multiple Amazon EC2 instances deployed across different Availability Zones for redundancy, and Amazon RDS with replication to ensure database reliability and consistency. Performance testing includes both load testing and failure simulation scenarios. The results indicate that the system achieves an average response time between 120 and 180 milliseconds under normal conditions and remains stable when handling concurrent users. During failure testing, the system successfully performs failover in under 10 seconds without noticeable service disruption. Additionally, database replication maintains data integrity with no detected data loss, confirming improved availability, scalability, and reliability.

Abstract

Pekalongan City is one of the cities where batik grows. Until now, there are thousands of batiks MSMEs spread across many points in Pekalongan. To introduce batik MSMEs to the general public, a WebGIS-based platform is needed as an information center for Pekalongan batik. This research aims to build a website-based Geographic Information System (GIS) using GeoJSON as a platform for mapping the distribution of MSMEs of Batik and a digital batik literacy center in Pekalongan City. The GeoJSON method is used because it has the ability to read population data in only 14.7 seconds, loading geographic data via the GIS REST API usually takes 38.4 seconds, this makes it very suitable for use in web applications. Its simplicity, compatibility and platform independence have contributed to the geospatial community. GeoJSON is a natural fit with modern web technologies such as JavaScript, which makes it easy to use in web application development and integrates with web service APIs. The test scenario results obtained a total score of 85.8 and the System Usability Scale (SUS) test results obtained a total score of 83.5, which places it in the very good category. The SUS rating scale indicates that potential users find this application easy to use. The design of this application based on test results shows a better effect in terms of ease of use, apart from that, potential users generally give positive marks, so it can be concluded that the implementation of WebGIS using the GeoJSON method for visualizing the distribution of Batik MSMEs can be implemented very well.
