Latar Belakang : Osteoartritis merupakan kondisi yang menyerang lebih dari 27 juta orang dewasa di Amerika. Di Indonesia prevalensi osteoartritis yang tampak secara radiologis cukup tinggi, yaitu 15,5% pada pria dan 12,7% pada wanita. Indeks massa tubuh dan riwayat peradangan pada sendi merupakan salah satu faktor penyebab penyakit osteoartritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan indeks massa tubuh dan riwayat peradangan sendi dengan kejadian osteoartritis Di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Kota Jambi Tahun 2018. Metode : Penelitian ini menggunakan desain case control. Populasi kasus yaitu seluruh pasien osteoartritis dan populasi kontrol yaitu seluruh pasien yang memiliki tanda dan gejala serupa yaitu nyeri dan kekakuan sendi. Pengambilan sampel diambil dengan matching jenis kelamin 1:1 yaitu terdiri dari sampel kasus sebanyak 25 dan sampel kontrol sebanyak 25 dengan tekhnik purposive sampling, instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar checklist, hasil penelitian di uji secara univariat dan bivariat dengan uji chi-square. Hasil : Hasil analisis univariat pada kelompok kasus menunjukkan 72% responden memiliki IMT dengan kategori obesitas, 78% memiliki riwayat peradangan sendi sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol 64% responden memiliki IMT yang normal, dan 84% responden tidak memiliki riwayat peradangan sendi. Hasil analisis uji Chi-Square diketahui ada hubungan yang bermakna antara indeks massa tubuh dengan kejadian osteoartritis p-Value = 0,023 (p<0,05), daengan nilai Odds Ratio (OR) = 2,19, dan ada hubungan antara riwayat peradangan sendi dengan kejadian osteoartritis p-Value = 0,001 (p<0,05) dengan nilai Odds Ratio (OR) = 11,15. Kesimpulan : Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara indeks massa tubuh dan riwayat peradangan sendi dengan kejadian osteoartritis di RSUD H. Abdul Manap Kota Jambi. Diharapkan kepada instansi terkait dapat meningkatkan upaya pencegahan, dengan melakukan komunikasi kepada pasien berupa pentingnya penurunan berat badan dan menjaga pola makan yang sehat.

Gaya hidup modern, bervariasinya makanan siapa saji dengan pilihan menu makanan dan cara hidup yang kurang sehat semakin menyebar ke seluruh lapisan masyarakat, sehingga menyebabkan terjadinya peningkatan jumlah penyakit degeneratif. Salah satu penyakit degenaratif tersebut adalah Diabetes Melitus (DM. Penyakit ini dapat menyebabkan komplikasi ulkus pada kaki, dikarenakan kurang lancarnya sirkulasi darah kedaerah distal (kaki). Untuk mencegah hal tersebut bisa dilakukan senan kaki diabetes. Metode pada Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini adalah dengan melakukan demonstrasi, serta membantu klien untuk mengerakan kaki sesuai dengan senam kaki diabetes. Senam kaki diabetes ini dilakukan oleh klien (3-4 kali seminggu selama kurang lebih 30 menit), dengan jumlah klien sebanyak 5 orang yang dirawat di Ruangan Interne RSUD Raden Matthaer Jambi. Hasil PkM ini didapatkan penderita Diabetes Melitus yang di Ruangan Interne RSUD Raden Mataher Jambi, dapat melakukan senam kaki diabetes dan tidak ditemukan tanda-tanda komplikasi pada penderita terutama pada kali seperti bengkak, kemerahan, nyeri. Senam kaki diabetes merupakan salah satu cara untuk mencegah ulkus diabet terutama pada daerah kaki, diharapakan dengan senam kaki diabetes ini meningkatkan sirkulasi darah kedaerah kaki, untuk tindak lanjut dari PkM ini bisa dilakukan oleh perawat atau mahasiswa yang melaksanakan praktik klinik. Asma merupakan penyakit jalan napas yang tak dapat pulih dengan episode berulang namun dapat dikendalikan dengan terapi komplementer, salah satu terapi komplementer yang ada yaitu buteyko. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik pernapasan buteyko terhadap nilai arus puncak ekspirasi (APE) pada penderita asma. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pre experimental design dengan pendekatan One Group Pretest-Posttest. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 20 responden sesuai dengan kriteria penelitian. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan cara total sampling. Data dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat dengan Uji t-dependent. Hasil statistik diperoleh nilai p-value = 0,000 artinya, nilai APE mengalami peningkatan setelah melakukan teknik pernapasan buteyko. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh teknik pernapasan buteyko terhadap peningkatan nilai arus puncak ekspirasi (APE) pada penderita asma di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Olak Kemang. Diharapkan bagi pihak Puskesmas Olak Kemang dapat menjadikan teknik pernapasan buteyko sebagai salah satu terapi komplementer dalam pengendalian asma

Hemodialysis therapy can improve the physical, psychological, social, and economic conditions of patients with chronic kidney failure, because they have to live with the condition for life. This will affect the quality of life of patients, so the length of hemodialysis is one of the factors that affect the quality of life of patients with chronic kidney failure. This research is a quantitative research with cross sectional design. This study involved all 35 patients undergoing hemodialysis in the Hemodialysis Room at Bhayangkara Hospital, Jambi City in August. This study involved 29 respondents. The sampling technique was carried out by using a total population sample. The analysis in this study was univariate and bivariate, using a questionnaire sheet. The univariate results showed that in the hemodialysis room at Bhayangkara Hospital, Jambi City in 2020, there were 16 (55.2%) respondents with hemodialysis > 12 months and 18 (62.1%) respondents. with moderate quality of life in patients with chronic kidney failure. The results of bivariate analysis showed that in the hemodialysis room at Bhayangkara Hospital Jambi City in 2020 there was a relationship between length of hemodialysis and quality of life of patients with chronic kidney disease with a p-value of 0.001. It was found that the quality of life of dialysis patients was closely related to the length of their treatment. Abstrak Terapi hemodialisis dapat memperbaiki kondisi fisik, psikologis, sosial, dan ekonomi pasien gagal ginjal kronis, karena mereka harus hidup dengan kondisi tersebut seumur hidup. Hal ini akan mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien, sehingga lama menjalani hemodialisis merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi kualitas hidup pasien penyakit ginjal kronik.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara lama menjalani hemodialisis dengan kualitas hidup pasien penyakit ginjal kronis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Penelitian ini melibatkan seluruh 35 pasien yang menjalani hemodialisa di Ruang Hemodialisa RS Bhayangkara Kota Jambi pada bulan Agustus. Penelitian ini melibatkan 29 responden. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan total sampel populasi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah univariat dan bivariat, dengan menggunakan lembar angket.Hasil univariat menunjukkan bahwa di ruang hemodialisa RS Bhayangkara Kota Jambi tahun 2020 terdapat 16 (55,2%) responden dengan hemodialisis > 12 bulan dan 18 (62,1%) responden dengan kualitas hidup sedang pada pasien penyakit ginjal kronik.Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa di ruang hemodialisa RS Bhayangkara Kota Jambi tahun 2020 terdapat hubungan antara lama menjalani hemodialisa dengan kualitas hidup pasien penyakit ginjal kronik dengan p-value 0,001. Ditemukan bahwa kualitas hidup pasien dialisis berkaitan erat dengan lamanya perawatan mereka, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin lama menjalani dialysis maka semakin dapat menyesuaikan hidup pasien. The integration between intellectuality and spirituality in Sufism is very necessary because it can produce self-actualization for followers of tarekat, so that human behavior will reflect divine traits in their daily lives. This study aims to examine the relationship between intellectuality and spirituality which then has an impact on the morality of the congregation of the Naqsabandiyah Khalidiyah tariqah perspective. This research uses a qualitative method conducted at the Prof. Dr. Kadirun Yahya Foundation located on Jenderal Gatot Subroto Street KM 4.5 Sei Siskamling Medan, North Sumatra. This study found that in the study of Naqsabandiyah Khalidiyah tarekat pioneered by Shaykh Kadirun Yahya, self-actualization or ihsan behavior in Sufism can be obtained through a process of integration between intellectual and spiritual potential. This is done because every congregation of the congregation must have an understanding and ability to explain the scientific concepts of the implementation of spiritual rituals performed. The scientific tradition built by Sheikh Kadirun Yahya in Tarekat Naqsabandiyah Khalidiyah is intended to encourage the intellectual potential of the congregation, considering that theories related to general sciences such as natural science, physics, and chemistry are growing rapidly. Meanwhile, religious sciences seem to have developed rapidly, but have stagnated due to religious teachings that are adhered to traditionally and dogmatically. Future research is expected to further analyze the contribution of Shaykh Kadirun Yahya's thought to the renewal of the Sufism tradition in a modern context, especially amid the challenges of globalization and secularization.

A moral crisis has occurred in this nation. If you look at the reality in today's life, there are many cases that show that the nation's morale has declined. This study aims to analyze the challenges faced by teachers and the efforts made in the implementation of character-based history learning. The type of research conducted is a case study. The samples of this research are history teachers, students of class X and class XI. Data collection method used by observation, interview guide, framework as research instrument. Data analysis method is qualitative data analysis. The technique of collecting data is triangulation and then data analysis through three paths, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the difficulties faced by history teachers in character education-based learning are difficulties in including the value of the proposition-based character according to the KD, dominant learning is not interactive, and students' character or behavior is difficult to monitor. On the other hand the competence/skills of teachers need to be improved, and the learning designs made by teachers are still weak in supporting character education. Efforts to answer this challenge can be overcome by increasing teacher understanding/mastery of the concept of character education. So it can be concluded that teachers have challenges in integrating character education in students. The implications of this research can have an impact on students in improving their character for the better.

This article discusses the tradition of fanciful 'being carried out by the Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school in maintaining harmony between Muslims and Christians in the city of Medan. This study uses a qualitative method with a field research type. The subjects of this study were teachers, students, and the Christian community living around the Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school in Medan. The object of this study is the tradition of fanciful 'being carried out by the Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school and the surrounding community to clean the environment around the Islamic boarding school and strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between religious communities. This study found that the tradition of fanciful 'being carried out by the Darul Hikmah Islamic boarding school has a major impact on the harmony of Muslims and Christians in the city of Medan, especially in the community around the Islamic boarding school, as evidenced by the absence of disputes between the Muslim community living in the Islamic boarding school and the Christian community living in the area around the Islamic boarding school, even good interaction is established between the two as evidenced by the attitude of the Christian community who are always willing to cooperate in various social activities, and the existence of Islamic boarding school policies in the use of loudspeakers that pay attention to the comfort of the Christian community. This research has implications for revealing Islamic boarding schools' role in promoting tolerance values and providing deeper insights into local practices contributing to social cohesion in multi-religious societies.

Kecemasan sebagai bentuk kekhawatiran pasien terhadap tindakan medis. Kecemasan ini dapat diatasi dengan sikap Caring perawat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan caring perawat dengan kecemasan pasien pre operasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitan kuantitatif dengan metode cross sectional. Data dikumpulkan mengunakan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara univariate dan bivariate menggunakan uji chi-Square. Populasi dalam sampel adalah seluruh pasien operasi selama 1 tahun terakhir, sampel diambil menggunakan metode purposive sampling, jumlah sampel sebanyak 36 responden. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dari tanggal 12 Juni 2023 s.d 15 Juli 2023. Hasil penelitian univariate didapatkan perilaku caring perawat dominan kurang baik 52,8% dan kecemasan pasien sebagian besar adalah cemas sedang 69,4%, hasil bivariate terdapat hubungan antara perilaku caring perawat dengan tingkat kecemasan pasien pre operasi dengan p-value 0.017 (< 0.05). Saran kepada pihak manajemen RSUD Kab. Tanjungjabung Timur, agar dapat meningkatkan sikap dan kompetensi yang dimiliki oleh perawat, sehingga perawat dapat menunjukkan perilaku caring bagi pasien yang menghadapi operasi.

Low Back Pain (LBP) is one of the health problems that are often found in the community. Every year 15-45% of adults suffer from low back pain, and one in 20 sufferers must be hospitalized due to acute attacks. Risk factors that influence the occurrence of low back pain include work period, work attitude and gender. This study aims to determine the relationship between Work Period, Work Attitude and Gender with Low Back Pain Pain Complaints in the Neurological Polyclinic of Royal Prima Jambi Hospital. The population in this study were all low back pain sufferers at the Nerve Polyclinic at Royal Prima Jambi Hospital from 425 people in May and sampling was done using accidental sampling technique which amounted to 78 patients. The analysis in this study using the Chi-square test. The results of the analysis show that there is a relationship between Work Period, Work Attitude and Gender with Low Back Pain Complaints in the Neurological Polyclinic of Royal Prima Jambi Hospital with a P-Value value of <0.05. There is a relationship between Work Period, Work Attitude and Gender with Low Back Pain Complaints in the Nerve Polyclinic Royal Prima Jambi Hospital.
