Abstract

Almost 40% of road in Indonesia are damaged. To obtain the maximum result of road improvement, the surface course (asphalt pavement) of the damaged road should be removed. Considering the number of quarries of road pavement materials are limited in the future and the costs are getting more expensive, it is important to do research on recycling asphalt pavement material as road base material. The objective of this research is to examine the use of asphalt pavement removal as road base material. Laboratory test was conducted to investigate the properties of the removal road asphalt pavement and then compared with specification of road base material Bina Marga. The tests include abrasion test, particles size distribution, density and California Bearing Ratio (CBR). Research was initiated by investigating the removal  of  asphalt  pavement maerial, followed by removal of asphalt pavement material + new aggregate, and the addition of 0.5%, 1%, 1.5%, 2% and 2.5% portland cement to the mixture of removal of asphalt pavement material and new aggregate. The result shows that adding 0.5% and 2.5% portland cement to the aggregate mixture can improve the CBR of aggregate mixture by 36% and 94%, which means the mixture of aggregate can be used as sub base and base material of road.

Abstract

This paper reports the results of an investigation of the durability of the AC-WC mixture using latex based on the SNI 6753:2015 test method. This method uses a test object with a low density (7% air void), while another method, namely Bina Marga (BM) 2018 which is more often applied in the field, uses a normal density test object (air void 4%). The product of these two different methods needs to be evaluated. On the other hand, the performance of latex on the durability of the AC-WC mixture at low density also needs to be studied. The main objective of the research is to study the durability of the AC-WC mixture using latex based on the SNI test method, compare it with the BM method, and at the same time evaluate these two test methods. The research method used is to conduct durability tests in the laboratory on test objects with low and normal densities. Two types of specimens were prepared, namely without and with latex, both were tested in conditions without and with immersion. The properties of the test object were evaluated using Indirect Tensile Strength (ITS). The test results were studied and compared, including to evaluate the two test methods. The results of the study concluded that the AC-WC mixture at low density (7% air void) had high durability with an IKS value above 90%. The value of the durability of the mixture is higher when using latex and at normal density (4% air void). The SNI 6753:2015 test method that uses 7% air void specimens is more recommended for evaluating the durability of asphalt mixtures.

Abstract

Pesatnya pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia mengakibatkan meningkatnya jumlah pemakaian jalan dikarenakan semakin banyak orang melakukan perjalanan. Dalam rangka untuk mengurangi limbah yang ada disekitar maka digunakan limbah steel slag dan ban luar bekas kendaraan sebagai pengganti agregat kasar untuk campuran aspal panas pada perkerasan lentur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis karakteristik Marshall campuran aspal AC-BC (Asphalt Concrete Wearing Course) dengan menggunakan limbah ban luar kendaraan dan limbah steel slag sebagai pengganti agregat kasar. Metode pengujian diawali dengan pengujian karakteristik dan bahan campuran aspal, selanjutnya menentukan kadar aspal optimum campuran aspal AC-BC. Pengujian Marshall dilakukan dengan variasi limbah masing-masing 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% dan 40%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian, diperoleh hasil bahwa campuran aspal AC-BC dengan menggunakan agregat pengganti limbah steel slag didapatkan nilai stabilitas tertinggi pada variasi limbah 20% yaitu 1900,43 kg; nilai flow dan nilai VFWA tertinggi pada variasi limbah 40% masing-masing adalah  3,50 mm, 78,40%; dan   nilai MQ, nilai VMA, nilai VIM tertinggi pada campuran 10% steel slag yaitu sebesar 649,04 kg/mm, 16,25%, dan 4,48%. Untuk penggunaan limbah ban luar kendaraan didapatkan hasil nilai stabilitas, nilai MQ & nilai VFWA tertinggi pada campuran 10% ban luar kendaraan yaitu 1150,02 kg, 363,55 kg/mm & 70,57%, nilai Flow, nilai VMA, & nilai VIM tertinggi pada campuran 40% yaitu 3,50%, 16,89%, dan 5,33%.  Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa karakteristik Marshall campuran aspal AC-BC dengan menggunakan limbah steel slag lebih baik digunakan sebagai material pengganti agregat kasar daripada limbah ban luar kendaraan.

Abstract

Simpang Bong Cino is an uncited interchange that in the field is arranged by unofficial officers to be located in the outer cordon that connects Madiun and Magetan Regencies with Madiun City. This study aims to assess the performance of intersections with officers, without officers, and using Traffic Signal Control Tools, as well as recommend the best type of arrangement. The primary data collection used is an interchange inventory survey and a classified deflection movement survey which is carried out twice on the same day and time on different dates, namely Wednesday, June 15 and 22, 2022, which is then analyzed using MKJI 1997. The results of the analysis obtained The existing condition of the intersection with traffic control officers, obtained a degree of saturation of 0.75, a major road delay (DMA) of 6.46 sec / smp, a minor road delay of 14.96 sec / smp and an intersection delay of 12.88 sec / smp. If without a traffic control officer, a saturation degree value of 0.74 is obtained, the major road delay is 6.31 sec/smp, the minor road delay is 15.43 sec/smp and the interchange delay is 12.66 sec/smp.  When set up with the Traffic Signal Control Tool, a saturation degree of 0.51 was obtained and the average delay for the entire intersection was 20.14 sec/smp. The best interchange setting recommendation is intersection without unofficial officers.

Abstract

On the inside of the dam, there is a seamless instrumentation. V-Notch is one of thestandard dam safety instruments used to measure water dam seepage discharge. Theporous soil and high permeability around the V-Notch cause water seepage to notbe directed properly to the V-Notch. If it is not directed properly then the erosion ofthe reed or piping cannot be detected. So we need a construction design of thebarrier wall for collecting water seepage, namely the wall diaphragm wall. Thepurpose of this research is to analyze the material, evaluate the performance, andcompare the diaphragm wall. The method used is falling head test, monitoringobservation well (OW), direct observation method when working. The results of thedownstream wall diaphragm material permeability test using the fall head test showthat the largest permeability coefficient value is 1.3 x 10-5cm/sec. where this valuehas reached a low coefficient of permeability. Results Downstream wall diaphragmperformance based on groundwater level at OW.8 < from OW.7. Downstreamdiaphragm wall or water seepage collection barrier can be said to work well. Fromthe analysis method, the diaphragm wall is easier to work than using the Clay heapmethod. This is proven because the diaphragm wall method can be carried out in therainy season and dry season. From the time calculation analysis, it is known that itis faster to use the diaphragm method with an estimated working time of 4 months 2days using 1 tool. As for the estimated length of time working with Clay soil piles is7.5 months using 1.5 tools. Based on the calculation of the cost of drilling plasticconcrete is more expensive than the Clay heap method. The cost of diaphragm wallis Rp. 9,581,703,257.38. and the cost of Clay is Rp. 8,742,490,556.95.

Abstract

Evaluation or irrigation network maintenance is needed to determine and function of irrigation network after maintenance. One of the irrigation networks whose maintenance needs to be evaluated is the Wonotoro irrigation network. The irrigation network receives continuous maintenance every year, both routine and periodic maintenance. This study aims to evaluate the physical condition of the wonotoro irrigation network in 2019 to 2021, analyze trends in the condition of the network after maintenance from 2019 to 2021 and measure the efficiency of irrigation water distribution in 2021, in this study using a quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that in 2019 the condition was 80.02% of the classification slighty damaged, in 2020 the condition was 79.14% of the classification moderately damaged and in 2021 the condition was 77.80% of the classification moderately damaged. The trend of the physical condition of the Wonotoro irrigation network has decreased every year. The decline in conditions from 2019 to 2020 was 0,88% while from 2020 to 2021 it had decreased by 1,33%. Measurement of the efficiency of irrigation water distribution in 2021 is 49.39%.

Abstract

Infrastructure development in soft clay soil conditions will have an impact on the low bearing capacity of the soil and a decrease in the value of the soil's carrying capacity. Increasing the bearing capacity of the soil is carried out using PVD based on empirical and numerical calculations to produce settlement values and PVD consolidation times for rectangular and triangular patterns. In this research, the results obtained from empirical calculations are that the triangle pattern is the most appropriate pattern to be applied in this case because it has a fast consolidation time value for BH 04, 05, 06, respectively, only takes 125, 124, 128 days with large decline 0.00903, 0.9012, 0.85743. Meanwhile, in numerical calculations, the triangle pattern has a fast time for BH 04, 05, 06 respectively requiring 280, 190, 134 days with a decrease of 0.0112000, 0.0001781, 0.0000006.

Abstract

1),A construction service company is a company engaged in the development sector in Indonesia. Construction contractor service business in the form of planning, design, cost calculation, bidding and construction implementation until completion. After all the work is completed, it will be handed over to the project owner or owner. The field of work for construction service companies is in the form of building construction, bridge construction, factory construction, industrial development and road construction. The aim of this study was to test and analyze the evaluation of the satisfaction and quality of service users at the construction company PT. Isa Putra Construction. The analytical method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive research type using Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS). The research was conducted at companies engaged in construction services, namely PT. Isa Putra Construction with a sample of 17 respondents. Based on the results of the calculations that have been done, the CSI value is 47%. This CSI value is obtained from the division between the total Weight Score (WS) value and the maximum scale used in this study, namely 5 and multiplying by 100%.Keywords: Satisfaction, Quality, Construction Services, Service User Satisfaction Construction

Abstract

One of the infrastructures that society absolutely needs is roads. With the existence of roads, land transportation activities are carried out so that economic and social mobility runs normally. Concrete is one of the materials commonly used for road pavements, where this material technology has many advantages such as being able to withstand heavy vehicle loads and lower maintenance costs. To produce quality concrete roads, the role of the manager who leads the concrete road construction project is very decisive. To produce a quality concrete road, a manager must be able to determine indicators that influence its success, so that construction activities run effectively and efficiently. This study aims to identify Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that can be used as a measure of success in concrete road construction projects based on the perspective of construction service providers. The analytical method used in this study is the Relative Importance Index to determine performance indicators that can be used as KPIs based on their relationship to success in concrete road construction projects. The results of the analysis show that the performance indicators that can affect the success of a concrete road construction project based on the perspective of a construction service provider are cost, quality, time, productivity, and environment, each of which has a weight of 21.41%, 19.44%, 19.05%, 15.65%, 12, 86% and 11.59%.
