Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the proportion of food and non-food household expenditures of poor and non-poor farmers in Raimuna Village, Maligano Subdistrict, Muna Regency and the factors that influence food and non-food expenditure, both poor and not poor. farmers either simultaneously or partially. The population in the study of all farm households in Raimuna Village, Maligano District, Muna Regency was 226 families. Sampling in this study using the Slovin formula is Stratified Random Sampling. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the income factor, the number of family members has a significant/significant effect on food expenditure. while the education of the family head and dummy did not significantly influence food expenditure. For non-food income factors, the number of family members and dummy farmer groups has a significant effect on non-food expenditure. while the education of the head of the family does not significantly influence the variable non-food expenditure.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze: (1) The pattern of food consumption of households of fishermen Bajo in the village of Banu-Banua Jaya subdistrict Kulisusu North Buton, (2) The type of food consumed by households fishermen Bajo in the village of Banu-BANUA Jaya subdistrict Kulisusu District North Buton as a source of carbohydrates, protein and vitamins and (3) the relationship between the level of income by the number of types of food sources of carbohydrates, protein and vitamins that are consumed by households in the village of Bajo fishermen Banu-BANUA Jaya subdistrict Kulisusu North Buton. This research was conducted in November and December 2016. The samples were done by simple random method by taking a sample of 15% of the total population of 207 families, as many as 31 people. The data was processed using descriptive analysis and Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed that: (1) Household Bajo fishermen in the village of Banu-BANUA Jaya have food consumption patterns that vary at the time of breakfast, lunch, supper, dinner and midnight. Foodstuffs consumed include: rice, fish, vegetables, eggs, instant noodle, and pastries, (2) Type of food sources of carbohydrates are consumed fisherman Bajo is rice, instant noodle, cake, cassava and kansoami then sources of protein are fish and eggs , while the source of the vitamin only from vegetables and banana, (3) revenues have a strong enough relationship and significant with the number of types of food sources of carbohydrates and protein, high and low income means followed by a great variety of food sources of carbohydrates and protein consumed. While the types of food sources of vitamin ties are weak and insignificant and minerals have no relation to income, meaning that high and low income is not followed by a great variety of food sources of vitamins and minerals are consumed.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry on Socio-Economic Conditions Farmer (Case on Farmer Vegetables in the Morosi village, Morosi District, Konawe regency). The research was conducted in October to December 2016, with a sample of 35 farmers and Village Head as the informants. Data were obtained through a questionnaire to provide a list of questions to the farmers of vegetables and it analyzed by descriptive qualitative and quantitative. The variables were observed in this study, generally include: age, formal education, number of dependents, and farming experience. While the observed variables to analyze the impact of PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry on Economic Social Farmers are qualitative analysis include: education and health, business opportunities, employment and income to calculate the kuantitataf analyzed. The results indicate that the presence of PT. Virtue Dragon Nickel Industry has positive impacts and negative impacts on society of Morosi Rural District, Konawe regency. Positive Impact in which community acquired are a lot of business opportunities, employment, and increasement of  income of farmers vegetables. While the negative impact are the declining quality of air circulation which is caused by the activities of mining companies, and there were not improvements in schools and health care facilities yet in the village of Morosi, Morosi Districi, Konawe Regency

Abstract

This research was motivated by Totallang Village, one of the plantation commodity-producing villages in North Kolaka Regency. Based on the results of the initial survey, it was found that in Totallang Village there were 187 households or all households that sought clove farming as a source of household income. Thus, farmer households do not produce their own staple food for household consumption, so they must buy to meet food needs. The aim of the study was to find out and analyze the amount of food expenditure for clove farmer households in Totallang Village and the factors that influence the food expenditure of clove farmers in Totallang Village. Location determination is determined intentionally (purposive). The number of respondents is 65 people. Quantitative descriptive analysis is used to calculate and describe the allocation of household food expenditure and multiple non-linear regression analysis is used to analyze the factors that influence household food expenditure. Data analysis using formulas Y = a + b1x1 + b2x2 + b3x3 + b4x4 + e. The results showed that the average food expenditure of respondents was Rp. 13,722,553 /farmer household /year and household income factors and the number of family members partially have a significant/significant effect on food expenditure. While the education of the head of the household and the education of housewives did not significantly influence food expenditure.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the effect of added value and marketing efficiency on sago processing income. This research was conducted in Konawe District and sampling using snowball techniques as many as 26 sago processors. Data analysis uses multiple regression. The results of the analysis note that 45.90% of the variation in income variables can be explained by value-added and processor share variables while 54.10% is explained by other variables outside the model where the added value and marketing efficiency variables have a significant effect. on sago processing income.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the need for food for the local community of Southeast Sulawesi Province. Food diversification by preserving local food, sago, and brown rice from upland rice. Foodstuffs that are handled differently are first handled in groups for sago and done by farmers and their families for upland rice. The study aimed to analyze the differences in income between sago processing farmers and upland rice farmers. The research was conducted in two locations, namely: (1) sago processing group in Lameuru Village, West Ranomeeto District, South Konawe Regency, and (2) upland rice farmers in Bubu Village, Kambowa District, North Buton Regency. Determination of research locations by purposive for as many as ten people for sago processors. By Simple Random Sampling for upland rice farmers as many as 24 people. The analytical tool used is descriptive analysis with a t-test. According to the findings, sago processors' average monthly income was IDR1,791,400.00, more than Indonesian farmers' average monthly income of IDR1,600,000 in 2016. Upland rice farmers earn an average of IDR1,116,726.20 per month, more than the IDR1,000,000.00 per month average for Indonesian farmers in 2017. The results of the t-test showed a significant difference between the income of sago processors and the average income of upland rice farmers.
