<![CDATA[Service quality is an action or deed that is carried out in accordance with the wishes of the user in order for the user to feel satisfied with the action or deed taken. If the user feels it is not in accordance with the user's wishes, there will be a user complaint against the company. There are complaints from PT Indocare Pacific users caused by malfunctions of the products provided by PT Indocare Pacific. The handling and response time for user complaints from the company takes quite a long time. This research was conducted with the aim of designing service quality standards at PT Indocare Pacific Batam to be able to improve the quality of users so as to achieve service user satisfaction. The method used is Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA), SixSigma, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) as a proposed improvement for the company. The results of this study of the 5 dimensions of servqual that have been carried out data processing with DPMO and sigma calculations obtained each servqual dimension obtains a sigma value which shows the company needs to make improvements and improve service quality through improvement of service procedures in the form of SOP.]]>

<![CDATA[PT Epson Batam is a manufacturing company engaged in the production of devices, scanners, and Ink Cartridges. CISM is the department responsible for making printer scanners. One of the processes in the CISM department is the process of combining between ic or die and pcb called module using a Die Attach machine located in the FOL area. based on the QC report in 2021 there are defects in Die products which dppm per month exceeding the company's defect standard of 4.700 dppm per month. This study aims to analyze the control of defect chipping die on die attach machines. The sampling method uses probability sampling. The data analysis uses the PDCA (Plan-DO-Check-Action) method. This study also used the FMEA (Failure Mode Effect Analysis) method to find the source of the defect, continued on the OPC (Operation Process Chart) method to see whether there has been a checking process according to the SOP in the company and at the final stage of making proposed improvements to minimize the cause of the defect. The results showed that the main cause of defect chipping die was due to foreign material due to an ineffective cleaning process because it was carried out per 100,000 pcs. Based on the OPC analysis, the improvements made were to improve the cleaning schedule from 100,000 pcs to twice a day through shiftly cleaning metal collets. The defect control using the PDCA method which was carried out during March - June 2022 the CISM department succeeded in reducing defects below company standards. in the form of SOP.]]>

<![CDATA[The popularity of contemporary drinks is currently increasing to build a new business model and even develop. Today's most popular drinks are the most popular. The problem that occurs is the seller who participates in making a business selling contemporary drinks but ignores the critical quality that must be met in contemporary drinks based on consumer preferences in Batam City. The purpose of this study is to compile critical quality criteria for contemporary beverage products based on consumer preferences in Batam City. The approach used in this study is Quality Function Deployment (QFD) displayed in the House of Quality (HOQ). Based on research that has been done it can be concluded that the criteria for critical quality in contemporary beverage products based on consumer preferences in Batam City are taste, price level, ease of getting products, brand logos, size/volume packaging, composition safety, presentation method, health service permit, The existence of a halal label, has a scent, and there is information on the nutritional value on packaging successively considered important by contemporary drink consumers in Batam City.]]>

<![CDATA[The packaging is also easily damaged, making it difficult for consumers to bring meatballs when they are going. The plastic packaging used less able to protect the product, and packaging in the form of a bowl that uses a heat sealer also makes the product easy to spill because the lid on the packaging is not tightly locked. The purpose this research is to develop meatball packaging according to the packaging design criteria desired and needed by consumers. The method used the Quality Function Deployment. The results obtained the packaging design criteria that have the highest priority are the shape of the packaging and the basic materials of the packaging with an importance value of 5, while the packaging design criteria that have the lowest priority are the spacing label area with an importance value 3. The technical response with the highest priority is the availability of a seal on the packaging cover with technical importance rating 216, the absolute importance 72, relative importance 10.23%. The technical response with the lowest priority is the appropriate label layout so that the product label is easy to see the technical importance rating 72, absolute importance 24 and relative importance 3.41%]]>

<![CDATA[ABSTRACT One of the keys to success in winning industry competition in the future or in the era globalization is to pay attention to quality issue. For that reason, if a company wants to survive, particularly in facing the future, so are required to pay attention to the quality.PT Ho Wah Genting is company operating in manufacturing sector that produces cable wire, by which one product is TLS. According to observation, there were three problems during the printing procces. Malformed product is being, and less product defects. The research on p’s control maps show that there’s data that’s out of control. Based on the analysis of the defect using the fishbone diagram for every flaw there are some factor which are human being. Machines, method, material, and also the neigborhood. Based on the analysis in the field, the product defects cannot be eliminated because when the machine is set up, it will also defect product. Based on the three alternative design tools obtained, the third design alternative was chosen because it is effective in helping operators maintain product quality and in accordance white the constraints faced by operators during the production process.]]>

<![CDATA[In the midst of the current manufacturing industry competition, companies are required to maintain the quality of their produced products. PT ABC is one of the manufacturing companies engaged in the production of electronic and medical products. In this study, issues were identified in the molding department, which had a high number of black dot defects in Housing Bottom products. The objective of this research is to determine the factors causing the decline in the quality of Housing Bottom products and to identify improvement efforts for the black dot defects. This study uses a fishbone diagram to analyze the factors causing black dot defects and the DMAIC method to determine improvement efforts for the causes of black dot defects. The research findings using the fishbone diagram identified that the cause of black dot defects is a machine factor related to nozzle temperature. Therefore, the improvement efforts conducted using Design of Experiment involve setting the nozzle temperature at 290°C and the metering section temperature at 290°C, resulting in low black dot defects.]]>

<![CDATA[One of the accommodations that is needed to support tourism is the availability of hotelsor inns. This is what makes entrepreneurs, especially in the field of hospitality, compete todevelop their business to attract visitors. ABC Resort is one of the companies engaged inthe accommodation sector which is most attractive to domestic and foreign touristsbecause of its location on the seafront directly adjacent to the Singapore Strait. Thepurpose of this study is to identify and analyze the standard criteria of hotel services inBatam city based on the hotel classification. The data obtained from the Voice of Customer(VoC) questionnaire will then be used as a guide in building the House of Quality (HoQ).Based on the calculation of the House of Quality (HoQ), it is known that there are 5 criteriafor service characteristics that have the highest priority value, namely the Hotel has aRestaurant and Bar with a Relative Importance Rate (TKR) value of 11%, Gym facilities,spa massage and sports healing with a TKR value of 10.2%, Availability of clean toilet andbathroom facilities with a TKR value of 8.84%, Luxury hotel buildings with a TKR value of6.55% and Interior and exterior design with a TKR value of 5.66%.]]>

<![CDATA[The poor quality of containers from trucking companies affected cocoa products and caused customer dissatisfaction and financial losses for PT XYZ, a cocoa product trading company. This research evaluates the quality of container procurement services from trucking companies using the SERVQUAL and Lean Service approach and DPMO and Six Sigma methods. This study also proposes a Self-Assessment Checksheet design based on SAC (Safety, Availability, and Cost) indicators from four standard sources of foodgrade containers. The design was validated and revised by two industry practitioners and one academic. The research results show that service quality has not met the expected standards, indicated by high DPMO values and low Six Sigma levels for all service dimensions, especially Responsiveness and Tangible. The Self-Assessment Checksheet design can help trucking companies improve the quality of their services and achieve better levels of Six Sigma by facilitating them to inspect and assess the quality of the containers they provide. This design is a solution for improvements in the Tangible dimension as the main focus of this research. This study concludes that the Self-Assessment Checksheet design is a useful tool for improving the quality of container procurement services and reducing problems and losses caused by poor quality containers.]]>

<![CDATA[Competition in the food Industry, is not only on the scale of the output production or brand, but also on the quality of products produced. The company needs to take quality control measures to maintain the quality of their products to comfrom to the quality standards set by the company, so that their products can be accepted by consumers. Griya Kripik Tempe is a company in the food which in the production process the are still various and fluctuating defects.The purpose of this study was to identify the level of variation in defects in the production process, identify the level of quality control performance by finding the value of DPMO, and tools design of cutting with of QFD method, fishbone diagrams are used to identify the causes of defects. The results showed that there no data out of control limits by p-chart,this value is still relatively low. Based on the fishbone diagram, it was found that human, machine, method, material and environmental factors were the cause of defects in kripik tempe production. The result of designing a cube-shaped tempe cutting tool, with many blades, a lever for pressing and a container for pieces of tempe.]]>

<![CDATA[Pasar sebagai salah satu fasilitas umum yang sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat dalam aktivitas perdagangan. Selain itu, pasar sebagai salah satu pemasok limbah sampah terbesar dan termasuk dalam jenis sampah rumah tangga. Berdasarkan kondisi di lapangan dapat diketahui bahwa perlu adanya evaluasi tata letak TPS di pasar Toss 3000 Batam. Evaluasi ini mencakup bagaimana tingkat kebutuhan kedekatan dari kios/lapak pedagang terhadap tata letak TPS di pasar Toss 3000 Batam. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi kebutuhan tata letak TPS terhadap kios pedagang di Pasar Toss 3000 Batam. Adapun metode penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dalam pengukuran aliran pada suatu tata letak fasilitas. Metode pengukuran aliran secara kualitatif yaitu metode Activity Relationship Chart dan Activity Relationship Diagram. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut (1) Kebutuhan tingkat kedekatan kios pedagang daging, ikan dan ayam terhadap Tempat Pembuangan Sampah (TPS) pasar yang sangat tinggi; (2) Kebutuhan tingkat kedekatan kios pedagang lain seperti sayur, rempah-rempah dan buah-buahan terhadap Tempat Pembuangan Sampah (TPS) pasar yang cukup tinggi; (3) Kebutuhan tingkat kedekatan kios pedagang lain terhadap Tempat Pembuangan Sampah (TPS) pasar cukup rendah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini maka dapat diusulkan rancangan tata letak TPS terhadap kios pedagang sesuai dengan tingkat kebutuhan untuk setiap jenis dagangan.]]>
