Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Sasaran Sekolah ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi kesenjangan keterampilan kewirausahaan di kalangan siswa SMK di Kota Batam melalui program pembinaan berbasis business mastery. Program ini dirancang untuk membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan strategis, meliputi perencanaan bisnis, pemahaman model bisnis yang berkelanjutan, serta kemampuan analisis pasar yang adaptif. Dalam konteks ekonomi global dan transformasi digital yang semakin pesat, siswa SMK diharapkan mampu menerapkan konsep business mastery dalam mendirikan dan mengembangkan usaha yang kompetitif. Program ini mencakup pembinaan intensif dan pelatihan Business Model Canvas sebagai solusi praktis yang mendukung keberlanjutan usaha. Melalui kegiatan ini, Melalui pendekatan pembelajaran interaktif dan praktik langsung penyusunan Business Model Canvas, siswa mampu memahami elemen-elemen utama dalam model bisnis serta mengaitkannya dengan ide usaha yang relevan dengan kebutuhan pasar. Hasil pre-test dan post-test menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada aspek pengetahuan konseptual dan keterampilan praktis, terutama dalam hal identifikasi segmen pelanggan, perumusan proposisi nilai, serta perancangan strategi pemasaran berbasis digital. Pembinaan ini juga menumbuhkan mindset kewirausahaan yang adaptif, inovatif, dan berorientasi pada penciptaan nilai.

Abstract

Abstrak Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kesiapan angkatan kerja muda dalam membangun identitas profesional, terutama dalam menghadapi tantangan dunia kerja yang semakin kompetitif di era digital. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan generasi muda dalam membangun personal branding yang efektif melalui pelatihan interaktif. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup penyampaian materi, diskusi, praktik langsung, dan simulasi wawancara kerja, penyusunan CV, serta pembuatan profil LinkedIn profesional. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dalam empat pertemuan dengan pendekatan partisipatif dan aplikatif. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam skor post-test peserta dibandingkan pre-test, dari rata-rata 86,87 menjadi 92. Peserta juga menunjukkan perubahan positif dalam membangun dokumen profesional serta kehadiran digital. Antusiasme peserta dan respon mitra menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan ini tepat sasaran dan berdampak langsung. Kegiatan ini terbukti mampu menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori personal branding dan praktik kesiapan kerja generasi muda. Diperlukan keberlanjutan program dengan cakupan yang lebih luas serta pengembangan materi lanjutan seperti portofolio digital dan soft skills. Kata kunci : Personal Branding, Kesiapan Kerja, Identitas Profesional, Angkatan Kerja Muda, Pengembangan Karir Abstract This Community Service activity was motivated by the low level of readiness among young workers in building their professional identity, especially in facing the challenges of an increasingly competitive job market in the digital age. The purpose of this activity was to improve the understanding and skills of the younger generation in building effective personal branding through interactive training. The implementation methods included material delivery, discussions, hands-on practice, and job interview simulations, CV preparation, and professional LinkedIn profile creation. The activity was carried out in four meetings with a participatory and applicative approach. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in the participants' post-test scores compared to the pre-test, from an average of 86.87 to 92. Participants also showed positive changes in developing professional documents and digital presence. The enthusiasm of the participants and the response of partners indicate that this activity was on target and had a direct impact. This activity has proven to be able to bridge the gap between personal branding theory and the practical work readiness of the younger generation. There is a need for program continuity with broader coverage and the development of advanced materials such as digital portfolios and soft skills. Abstract

The Small and Medium Industries (SMEs) sector in Batam City, particularly in the food processing sub-sector, plays a strategic role in supporting regional economic growth and job creation. However, many SMEs still face production quality problems related to sanitation, non-ergonomic work environments, weak process control, and low worker discipline in implementing hygiene standards. These conditions may reduce product quality, productivity, and consumer trust. This study aims to analyze priorities for improving production process quality through the implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Work Improvement in Small Enterprises (WISE) in food-processing SMEs in Batam City, as well as to develop a practical priority improvement model that can be used as a reference for similar enterprises. This research employed a case study approach using observation, interviews, documentation, and literature review as data collection techniques. GMP and WISE indicators were structured into criteria and sub-criteria, then analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) to determine the ranking of improvement priorities. The results show that the main priority criterion is Hygiene and Sanitation Program (46%), followed by Production Process Control (23%), Packaging, Storage and Material-Equipment Handling (11%), Organization of Work (11%), Workplace Design (6%), and Welfare Facilities (3%). At the sub-criteria level, the most dominant factors are First Aid Equipment (58%), Pest Prevention and Control Program (46%), Employee Habits (46%), and Documentation and Record Keeping (39%). The consistency ratio met the acceptable threshold, indicating that the judgments were consistent and reliable for decision-making purposes. The outputs of this study include a priority map for production quality improvement based on GMP-WISE and an AHP-based decision framework that helps SMEs allocate limited resources to the most critical improvement areas. The contribution of this study to knowledge development lies in strengthening an integrative approach that combines food safety, work ergonomics, and decision support systems to enhance the competitiveness of food-processing SMEs in a systematic, measurable, and applicable manner
