Abstract

The involvement of women in several village development programs which is still very low when compared to the quantity of men's involvement in government and village development programs is the background of this research. The research was conducted in Pulau Semambu Village, Ogan Ilir. The formulation of the research problem is how the role of the PKK organization in village development is viewed from a structuring perspective. The purpose of this research is to see the role of the PKK organization in village development. The method used is Descriptive Qualitative with data analysis techniques with Miles and Huberman's interactive model and data validation with triangulation. The results showed that the role of the Pulau Semambu Village PKK organization had a positive impact on the development program, but not all of the main PKK programs had gone well. There are still obstacles in managing the PKK organization, especially human resources, infrastructure, and budget issues. The government needs to provide support to PKK managers at every level both materially and immaterially.

Abstract

This study aims to see research trends related to the digital transformation of public services globally and combine them with field studies to see the readiness of government agencies in digital public service transformation using the government-to-citizen theory consisting of support, capacity, and value. This study uses a bibliometric analysis method sourced from Scopus as a database and a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. The data used are data from 2019-2024 using Scopus and bibliometric analysis using Vosviewers software. The results of the study show that in terms of support, Disdukcapil has allocated human resources and created several digital innovations such as PACAKELAH TERUS, SIJAGO, and AMPERA CAKEP. Then in terms of capacity, employees are considered competent because they have undergone training, but the technology used is still limited, the waiting room is uncomfortable, and there is a limited budget for the construction of a new building. Then the bibliometric study shows that research on service digitalization, especially in the 2021-2023 period, is growing with a focus on the use of big data, artificial intelligence, collaboration and process automation to improve service effectiveness. The connection is by knowing and understanding this trend, so it is recommended that Disdukcapil can align digitalization strategies with global developments, such as agency preparation in this case meaning strengthening internal capacity and collaborating with other parties to achieve goals.

Abstract

Abstrak Pemilih pemula menjadi perhatian utama aktor politik menjelang Pemilu 2024. Kesiapan siswa SMA sebagai pemilih pemula menjadi isu penting mengingat peran mereka sebagai objek politik dalam Pilkada mendatang. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penguatan pemahaman tentang demokrasi guna membentuk generasi muda yang cerdas dalam berpartisipasi politik. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi politik siswa terkait Pilkada. Metode pelaksanaan berupa pendampingan melalui pemberian materi dan diskusi. Hasil kegiatan terdiri dari dua tahapan utama. Pertama, penyampaian materi dan diskusi untuk meningkatkan pemahaman siswa mengenai demokrasi dan Pilkada. Kedua, evaluasi kegiatan dilakukan melalui pretest dan post-test menggunakan kuesioner. Kegiatan ini melibatkan dosen, mahasiswa, kepala sekolah, guru pengampu, dan 30 siswa SMAN 1 Unggulan Indralaya Utara. Sebelum kegiatan rata-rata pemahaman siswa didik sebesar 35,93% sedangkan setelah kegiatan menjadi meningkat 96,99%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan siswa sebagai pemilih pemula semakin meningkat, baik dalam memahami aturan Pilkada maupun dalam membangun kesadaran politik yang bertanggung jawab. Kata Kunci: pilkada; demokrasi; pemilih pemula. Abstract First-time voters have become a primary focus for political actors ahead of the 2024 elections. The readiness of high school students as first-time voters has become an important issue considering their role as political subjects in the upcoming regional elections. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen the understanding of democracy to shape a generation of young people who are intelligent in political participation. This community service activity aims to enhance students' political literacy regarding local elections. The implementation method involves mentoring through the provision of materials and discussions. The results of the activity consist of two main stages. First, delivering material and discussions to enhance students' understanding of democracy and local elections. Second, the evaluation of the activities was conducted through pretests and post-tests using questionnaires. This activity involved lecturers, students, school principals, supervising teachers, and 30 students from SMAN 1 Unggulan Indralaya Utara. Before the activity, the average understanding of students was 35,93%  while after the activity it increased to 96,99%.This shows that the readiness of students as first-time voters is increasing, both in understanding the rules of the regional elections and in building responsible political awareness. Keywords: regional elections; democracy, first-time voters.
