Abstract

This research focuses on describing how the strategies used by education teachers in instilling the values of inter-religious tolerance and how the condition of students' inter-religious tolerance. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were Islamic religious education teachers and grade vii students and documents as supporting data. The data in this study were obtained through interviews, observations and documentation then the data were analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and verification and checked the validity of the data using the source triangulation method. The results in this study show that Islamic religious education teachers use several strategies in instilling inter-religious tolerance values, namely: 1. Learning through textbooks. 2. habituation. 3. Exemplary 4. Guidance. In addition to the strategies carried out by Islamic religious education teachers, schools also implement habituation in instilling the values of inter-religious tolerance of students, namely with SAS (Peer Fostered Students) and Friday Taqwa.

Abstract

The objectives of this research are: (1) to examine the religious disposition of students at MA AZ-ZAIN Lengkong Nganjuk, and (2) to identify the strategies employed by Islamic education teachers in shaping the religious character of these students. This research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing a descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The research informants included Islamic education teachers, curriculum advisors, the school principal, and students. The validity of the information was verified through member checking, followed by triangulation techniques. The findings of the research indicate that: (1) The religious character of students at MA AZ-ZAIN Lengkong Nganjuk is generally underdeveloped, as religious practices such as obligatory prayers and Sunnah prayers are insufficiently observed, largely due to an unsupportive environment. Despite this, students are willing to seek improvement in their religious character and demonstrate honest behavior. (2) The strategies employed by Islamic education teachers to shape students' religious character include modeling and exemplification, guidance, direction, the formulation of practical theories, habituation, training, mentoring, and leadership.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using the NHT (Numbered Head Together) Method on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At - Tauhudiyah on thematic learning. This type of research is pre experimental designs, which are parts of One Group Pretest - Posttest design. The population in this study were all of the students of fifth grade in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah At Tauhidiyah Sumberarum which are 25 students. The sample used in this study was all students of fifth grade. The sampling technique is using nonprobability sampling, this technique includes a variety of techniques among others is saturated sampling. This research instrument uses multiple choice test items, specifically 25 items. The collected data is processed using descriptive statistical analysis, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test by using SPSS 16.0 for windows application. Based on the results of SPSS 16 the output on the hypothesis testusing Paired Sample t Test conducted on student learning outcomes data shows the results of pretest 70.80 and posttest of 85.64 getting an increase in the amount of 14.24. This is provend by the results of t Test with t count -9,401 and t table 1,711 with sig tailed 0.00 <0.05 with a correlation level of 0.664. So the conclusion is that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which is there is an influence of using the NHT (Numbered Head Together) Method on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students at MI At Tauhidiyah on thematic learning

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran Penyehat Tradisional dalam meningkatkan derajat kesehatan masyarakat di Kota Magelang, mencari faktor penyebab belum optimalnya peran Penyehat Tradisional tersebut serta merumuskan langkah langkah agar perannya menjadi optimal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Data kualitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui/mengevaluasi peran Penyehat Tradisional, kendala dan solusi pemecahannya. Data-data dikumpulkan melalui studi pustaka, observasi dan wawancara. Faktor yang menyebabkan belum optimalnya peran Penyehat Tradisional karena sarana prasarana yang dimiliki para penyehat tradisional terbatas belum sesuai dengan ketentuan yang di persyaratkan, kurangnya pembinaan dari pemegang program dikarenakan pemegang program merangkap tugas tugas lain. Upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan meningkatkan supervisi untuk memantau fasilitas pelayanan Penyehat Tradisional dan pembinaan dalam rangka meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan.

Abstract

21st century education requires the development of students' full potential, including creativity as one of the soft skills. However, existing learning is still teacher-centered and cognitively oriented, thus limiting students' creativity. Differentiated learning is a responsive approach to the diversity of readiness, interests, and learning styles of students. This research aims to optimize the creativity of students through the application of product differentiation learning at SMPN 1 Cluring. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the subjects of PAI and Ethics teachers, students, curriculum representatives, Counseling Guidance teachers, and school principals. Data collection techniques include participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion drawn, data validity uses triangulation techniques and sources.The results of the study show that the application of product differentiation is able to foster the creativity of students, as seen from the variety of products produced, active participation in discussions, and increased initiative and courage to put forward ideas. Indicators of creativity that develop include critical thinking, emotional sensitivity, talent, and imagination in producing original works.

Abstract

Globalisasi melahirkan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sedikit banyak akan memberikan dampak baik positif maupun dampak negatif terhadap lingkungan kehidupan masyarakat. Di samping dampak positif, kemajuan iptek ini tidak sedikit menjadikan individu-individu teralienasikan baik dari Tuhannya maupun lingkungan sosialnya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penyimpangan-penyimpangan atau penyalahgunaan iptek tersebut. Problematika fenomena tersebut menunjukkan bahwa perlu adanya balance atau keseimbangan antara nilai-nilai moral atau ketaqwaan dan nilai-nilai ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini, untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh kemajuan iptek terhadap perkembangan pendidikan Islam dan untuk mengetahui model integrasi imtaq dan iptek dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan Islam. Sedangkan metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan kajian literature (Library Research). Untuk hasil penelitian ini bahwa perekembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (iptek) memiliki pengaruh baik yang bersifat positif maupun negatif. Di satu sisi, kemajuan iptek merupakan suatu “anugerah” bagi dunia pendidikan Islam karena dengan iptek tersebut akses terhadap pengetahuan-pengetahuan dan informasi semakin mudah dan cepat. Akan tetapi di sisi lain, iptek juga telah mendatangkan “petaka” yang dikhawatirkan mengancam nilai-nilai agama, moral dan kemanusiaan. Adapun untuk membangun pendidikan yang mampu melahirkan sumber daya manusia seutuhnya yang berkwalitas, baik material maupun spiritual diperlukan sistem pendidikan yang integral dan berorientasi pada aspek teo-ontroposentris secara dinamis dan juga berorientasi pada pengembangan seluruh potensi dan dimensi peserta didik secara proporsional. Abstract

Science and knowledge are two important things to study. Suhrawardi was a first generation of sufi philosophers. Using the hermeneutics method, the author focuses the study on how the concept of science is in the perspective of Suhrawardi Al Maqtul. From the discussion carried out, it was concluded that in the illumination theory proposed by Suhrawardi, one of the methodologies for obtaining high knowledge was to practice known science as corroborated by the postulates in the Quran and Hadith. According to Suhrawardi, to obtain light, man must move to draw closer to that light with science and charity.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the use of animated video learning media in the subject of Islamic Cultural History in increasing the understanding of grade VIII A students at MTs Negeri 7 Banyuwangi. The research method used is qualitative descriptive with the subject of research consisting of teachers of Islamic Cultural History subjects and grade VIIIA students. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used by Miles and Huberman's interactive model consisting of data collection, data reduction, data presentation and Conclusion Drawing and Verification. The results showed that the application of learning media in the form of animated videos involved the stages of planning, implementation, and evaluation. The planning stage involves preparing material, preparing lesson plans, and motivation for students. The implementation stage includes the use of learning media by preparing material and facilitating interaction with students. The evaluation stage is carried out through giving questions or exercises to students. The results also showed an increase in students' understanding of the material taught. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide concrete and relevant recommendations for curriculum development and innovative and effective teaching strategies in learning Islamic Cultural History.

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum provides freedom to teachers and students in the learning process by focusing on the development of holistic competencies that include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. This take and give learning method is in line with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. This method emphasizes active and collaborative interaction between learners. This study aims to explore the application of the take and give method in learning the Qur'an Hadith at MTs Al-Azhar Sempu Banyuwangi to improve students' social skills. The social skills in question include communication, cooperation, empathy, and problem-solving, which are often less accommodated in conventional learning methods. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection is carried out through observation, interviews and documentation, then the data is analyzed with the stages of data collection, data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing/verifying. Checking the validity of the data using triangulation of sources and methods. The results of the study show that the take and give method is effective in improving students' social skills through improving communication skills, cooperation, and empathy, as well as applying the values of the Qur'an and Hadith in daily life. The contribution of this research to the development of a more holistic learning method and relevant to the principles of the Independent Curriculum. The take and give method is expected to be an innovative method to improve students' social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the obstacles faced by teachers in the implementation of thematic learning based on the 2013 curriculum at MI Al-Aziz. The research focuses on three key areas: (1) the implementation of thematic learning, (2) the challenges encountered by teachers, and (3) solutions to overcome these obstacles. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interviews, and questionnaires as primary data collection methods. The results indicate that the thematic learning implementation has not been fully optimal due to a lack of teacher preparedness in lesson planning, limited resources, and inadequate training. Teachers also face difficulties in integrating various subjects into a coherent thematic approach. The study suggests that improving teacher training and providing better resources can enhance the implementation of the curriculum and resolve existing challenges.
