Abstract

Balikpapan's economic growth is predicted to rise to 4.94% in 2022 from 4.56% in 2021. The Business Field for Providing Accommodation and Food and Drink has performed well, helping the city's economy. In Balikpapan, 23% of the creative economy is in the culinary sector. Culinary tourism is popular in the city, although finding gastronomic information, especially for foreigners, can be difficult. As a result, there is a need for a culinary application that can provide information about Balikpapan's different culinary delights. Prior to developing a culinary application, the initial step entails the creation of a user flow. This user flow aims to establish a development team for the purpose of creating culinary apps that align with user requirements and customer satisfaction. The process of developing a user flow encompasses multiple steps, including literature research, understanding context of use, specify user requirements, and design user flow solution.  Several elements and processes that can be included in a culinary application have been identified through research conducted with 30 entrepreneurs and 30 food enthusiasts. Ratings, delivery services, promotions, menus, favorite menus, best seller menus, payment options, order services, training, reports, maps, and other features are available. By displaying the user flow and offering step-by-step instructions for users, this research serves as the first stage in constructing the culinary application. The user flow will aid in communication and demonstrating how the culinary application functions. The findings will also be used to develop a culinary application prototype that demonstrates the user interface and user experience.

Abstract

Effective warehouse management is crucial for ensuring the availability of raw materials and smooth product distribution, particularly at Sentra Industri Kecil Somber (SIKS) Balikpapan, which specializes in soybean-based industries. Manual record-keeping has presented significant challenges, leading to recording errors, stock discrepancies, and delays in raw material procurement. To address these issues, a digital warehouse management prototype, "KoptiHub," was developed using a User-Centered Design (UCD) approach. This approach aimed to enhance inventory tracking efficiency, streamline raw material ordering, and improve overall product distribution. The prototype was evaluated using the System Usability Scale (SUS) with 15 cooperative administrators at SIKS Balikpapan. The evaluation yielded an SUS score of 82.17, resulting in an "A" grade, which indicates high usability and strong alignment with user expectations. Compared to previous warehouse management solutions, KoptiHub demonstrates superior usability, particularly in cooperative settings. However, further improvements, such as a simplified user interface and an AI-driven inventory forecasting feature, could enhance efficiency and accessibility. The results suggest that KoptiHub could serve as a scalable model for digitizing warehouse management in MSMEs and cooperatives, aligning with emerging trends in smart inventory management and supply chain optimization.

Abstract

The gig economy exposes online ride-hailing drivers to a precarious work environment characterized by algorithmic control, income uncertainty, and long working hours, leading to significant job stress. This high-pressure context raises a critical research problem: how do these workers manage psychological strain to sustain performance when formal organizational support is absent? Cyberloafing, a behavior with a debated dual role as both a counterproductive act and a recovery tool, emerges as a potential, self-directed coping strategy. This study aims to examine the mediating role of cyberloafing in the relationship between job stress and productivity among online ride-hailing drivers, framed by the Conservation of Resources (COR) theory. A quantitative survey with a cross-sectional design was conducted with 199 drivers, and data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results show that job stress has a significant positive effect on cyberloafing (β = 0.29; p ≤ 0.01), which in turn has a significant positive effect on productivity (β = 0.24; p ≤ 0.01). The main finding confirms that cyberloafing acts as a full mediator, revealing that the entire influence of stress on productivity is channeled through this behavior. This re-frames cyberloafing not as a counterproductive act, but as an essential adaptive coping mechanism that helps drivers restore psychological resources under pressure, thereby maintaining productivity in a demanding, autonomous work setting.
