Abstract

The 112 call centre in Sidoarjo district faces significant challenges, including a high number of false alarms, which account for 85% of all calls. This hampers the efficiency of the service, especially with the limited number of call takers and inefficient manual information flow. This research aims to develop a technology-based reporting system using an OOAD method (Analysis, Design, Build, Operate) approach to improve the reliability and efficiency of emergency services. The system includes E-KYC-based report verification features to filter false reports, real-time report status tracking, and integration between related parties such as the community, administration, and response units (police, ambulance, fire). The results show that the designed system is able to significantly reduce false reports, improve service response through report prioritisation, and provide community access to monitor reports independently. This approach not only overcomes operational constraints, but also provides more transparent and efficient emergency services. It is hoped that this system can become a standard model for modernising emergency services in the digital age.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has had a major impact on education, forcing learning to switch to an online system to prevent the spread of the virus. However, problems still persist, especially in elementary school mathematics education, students tend to think mathematics is difficult and not very interesting. This is due to the ineffective classroom learning approach, so that many students lose interest in learning mathematics. Therefore, innovative solutions are needed that can increase students' interest and understanding of mathematics learning, such as a gamification approach for students who prefer to play. The purpose of this study is to develop a mobile application that combines a gamification approach as a mathematics learning material for elementary school students. The system concept in this mobile application is that students can work on practice questions and see learning outcomes, choose an avatar on the edit profile, and access the discussion forum available in the application. This application is designed to create an interactive, fun and effective learning experience using the ADBO (Analyze, Design, Build, Operate) method which is systematic and directed to ensure that each stage of the process provides optimal results and according to user needs with the hope of overcoming complex problems faced by students. Through the modeling used in the preparation of this application, it is hoped that it will be in accordance with its purpose, namely to provide convenience to elementary school students, from grade 1 to grade 6, to become better at learning.

Abstract

Agricultural development is essential for the community's survival because it is a major source of food. Food production is a critical component of food security. Food security must be improved to meet market demand, and one of the fundamental goals of agricultural growth is to provide sufficient quantities of food. Increasing demand for natural resources, as well as environmental issues, are putting pressure on the current agricultural supply chain, which includes agricultural land suitability. Land evaluation is a process of analyzing land resources for specific uses using an established technique or method, and it is required to incorporate land appropriateness. According to the criteria, the findings of land suitability will give information and/or land use guidance. The land's appropriateness might be evaluated in its existing state (actual land suitability) or after changes have been made (potential land suitability). To address these issues, the agricultural sector must transition from traditional agriculture to smart agriculture. One of the technologies and system modeling that drives the current technique to smart agriculture with an integrated approach to evaluate the sustainability of agricultural land suitability is the geographic information system (GIS). The Systematic Literature Review (SLR) from prior investigations is presented in this publication. The articles are divided into two groups based on their approaches: agricultural land appropriateness for rice plants and the application of geographic information systems (GIS), comprising agricultural land suitability, site selection, and effect evaluation. The goal of this research is to determine what criteria are significant in increasing the quality of GIS applications in agriculture. This outcome is expected to assist stakeholders in formulating policies based on the performance of GIS data management in enhancing agricultural productivity and promoting agriculture supply chain management.

Abstract

Websites are viewed primarily as a platform from which SMEs can portray a sophisticated image and advertise/market their products. One of the main factor affect the adoption of e-commerce by SMEs is the enviroment influence. On small business, the process of recording orders and sales transactions was done manually. These lead to customers complaints because they have to wait for a long time to get the product. In addition, the owners of small business find it difficult to know the popular products among customers. Moreover, the companys are eager to reach out to potential customers. Therefore, an e-commerce website is required not only as a solution to all these problems but also as a bridge between the business and their customers. The website was developed using the Scrum method. The application development process required three sprints to complete the seventeen product backlogs. The system testing proved the system is running according to its function and is accepted by the user.

Abstract

Digital transformation is increasingly vital for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), including those in the printing sector, to enhance their operational effectiveness. Prior to this study, Amanah Advertising managed its orders, transactions, and inventory manually, which frequently resulted in data recording errors and poor coordination. To address these challenges, this research developed a web-based transaction management information system using the Prototype method. The development process involved two iterative stages of user feedback to refine system functionality. Enhancements included the addition of key features, improvements to the user interface, and the implementation of discount management functionality. The system was developed using the CodeIgniter 4 framework to ensure better process integration and operational efficiency. Black-box testing validated that all system components functioned correctly. Furthermore, a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) evaluation using a Likert scale produced a feasibility score of 85.2%, categorized as “Very Good.” These findings indicate that the implemented system significantly improves operational efficiency, increases data accuracy, and successfully supports the digitalization efforts at Amanah Advertising.

Abstract

Skin, as the outermost organ that protects the human body, is susceptible to exposure to external factors such as UV rays, pollution and chemicals, which can have a negative impact and worsen its appearance. Therefore, protecting the skin by using sunscreen is important. The diversity of sunscreen products and skin types sometimes makes it difficult for consumers to choose the right product. To overcome this problem, forward chaining and profile matching methods are applied. Forward chaining is used to determine facial skin type based on existing symptoms to reach conclusions. Next, the Profile Matching method is used to recommend sunscreen products that suit user preferences, by selecting the best alternative based on existing criteria. It is hoped that this research can provide solutions for consumers in choosing the right sunscreen according to their skin type, minimize skin problems that may arise, and increase the comfort of using the product.
