Studi ini menganalisis kognisi sosial pada narasi TSM (terstruktur, sistematis, dan masif) yang dibuat oleh tim pengacara pasangan calon (paslon) Pilpres 2 selama persidangan sengketa hasil suara Pilpres 2019 di Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Representasi dari kognisi sosial merupakan pengetahuan yang didalamnya memuat prinsip-prinsip “keadilan substantif”. Metode penelitian yang dipergunakan mengacu pada forensik linguistik dengan mendasarkan pada ancangan Analisa Wacana Kritis (AWK) Teun A. van Dijk. Data yang digunakan adalah transkrip percakapan persidangan yang dibuat oleh Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Studi ini menemukan bahwa kognisi sosial tim pengacara paslon Pilpres 2 adalah representasi dari prinsip keadilan substantif. Prinsip ini terdiri atas empat pengetahuan yaitu rasionalitas pengadilan substantif, kejujuran dan abuse of power aparat pemerintahan, objektifitas mahkamah konstitusi, imparsialitas pemerintah dan penyelenggara pemilu. Prinsip ini dipergunakan oleh tim pengacara paslon Pilpres 2 untuk mendorong supaya hakim MK tidak sekadar melakukan penghitungan ulang suara namun didorong untuk menyelidiki pelanggaran TSM yang diduga dilakukan oleh paslon Pilpres 1. This study analyzes woman discrimination in Oscar Wilde’s The Picture of Dorian Gray and finds that the role of women has been marginalized in the eyes of men. Using a descriptive and dramatic method through which the researcher takes a look at the action as well as speech of the characters in the novel, the study finds that women are discriminated against because of objectification of women, oppression of women’s voices, emotional abuse as well as manipulation, and society's expectations and standards. Through this study, the researcher is in considerable hope that it will contribute to the development of literary studies, especially in the area of feminism.

The purpose of the study was to elaborate the value of liberal feminism conducted by the four women: Hallie, Mary, Emily, and Hannah. The main factor why they did such liberal feminism was that they wanted to do things like what man could do even though they had criticism from the same gender as theirs. Using liberal feminism theory, the researcher found that all the mentioned women namely Hallie, Mary, Emily, and Hannah are in struggle to be in equality as man in any kind of life contribution; Hallie without dependence to her husband and her fight for the famine, Mary with the life freedom and education, Emily with the chance to be educated at school for a study like a man, and Hannah with being unmarried woman in the area of married women.

This study analyzes social cognition on TSM (structured, systematic, and massive) narrative created by the lawyers of the presidential election pair (paslon) 2 during the 2019 presidential election dispute hearing at the Constitutional Court (MK). The representation of social cognition is in the form of knowledge which includes the principles of "substantive justice". The research method used refers to linguistic forensics based on Teun A. van Dijk's Critical Discourse Analysis (AWK) approach. The data were transcripts of court conversations made by the Constitutional Court (MK). This study found that the social cognition of the team of lawyers for the 2nd presidential candidate pair is a representation of the principle of substantive justice. This principle consists of four pieces of knowledge, namely the rationality of substantive courts, honesty and abuse of power by government officials, the objectivity of the constitutional court, the impartiality of the government and election organizers. This principle was used by the team of lawyers for the presidential election pair 2 to encourage MK judges not only to recount the votes but also to investigate TSM violations that were allegedly committed by the presidential election candidate pair 1.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap realitas sosial masyarakat Irak pada tahun 1954 melalui syair Ughniyah Hubbin Lil Kalimah dan melihat relevansi syair tersebut dengan realitas masyarakat Indonesia melalui konsep realisme sosialis perspektif Georg Lukacs yang merupakan bagian dari kajian sosiologi sastra. Data yang digunakan berupa bait-bait syair yang mengandung unsur penggambaran masyarakat Irak pada tahun 1954. Sumber utama dari penelitian ini yaitu syair Ughniyah Hubbin Lil Kalimah karya Nazik al-Malaikah yang terdapat di ad-Diwan. Metodologi penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan Konsep pemikiran Lukacs dalam konsep “cermin” yaitu sastra sebagai refleksi struktur mental masyarakat. Teknik analisa yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan catat. Hasil dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa syair Ughniyah Hubbin Lil Kalimah menggambarkan wanita Irak yang menjadi korban dari peralihan pemerintahan Irak hingga penyair mendorong masyarakat terutama wanita untuk menyuarakan hak-haknya. Syair ini juga memiliki relevansi dengan keadaan masyarakat Indonesia pada era Kartini yang juga menyuarakan hak-hak perempuan demi kehidupan yang lebih baik dan lebih adil.

This research stems from the increasing interest in religious songs that blend spiritual messages with poetic elements. The purpose of this study is to analyze the stylistic features in the lyrics of Rahmatan Lil Alamin by Maher Zain using a stylistic approach. This qualitative descriptive research employs the stylistic theory by Gorys Keraf, focusing on language style elements such as rhetorical, comparative, and repetition styles. Data were collected through documentation techniques and analyzed using content analysis to identify and classify language styles found in the lyrics. The findings reveal that the lyrics employ a variety of language styles: comparative styles, such as similes and metaphors, are used to portray divinity and moral values; rhetorical styles, like rhetorical questions and hyperbole, emphasize spiritual longing; and repetition styles strengthen the emotional tone and the central theme of universal mercy. These stylistic devices not only enhance the aesthetic value of the lyrics but also deepen their religious meaning, making the song both artistically engaging and spiritually resonant. “This study aims to reveal and explain the stylistic features of the dialogue between Prophet Solomon, the Hoopoe bird, and Queen Bilqis in Surah Al-Naml, verses 20 to 44, to explore the beauty of the Qur'an from both its linguistic and semantic aspects. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The primary source for this study is Surah Al-Naml, verses 20 to 44, while secondary sources include all relevant literature related to this research. Data collection was carried out using the method of intralinguistic equivalence, complemented by note-taking techniques. This study's findings reveal two sentence patterns in the dialogue between Prophet Solomon and the Hoopoe bird as well as Queen Bilqis: declarative sentences (kalam khabar) and imperative sentences (kalam insya'). The declarative expressions serve the purpose of conveying information and its inherent benefit. The study also identifies sentences that convey the meanings of contrast request and prayer, functioning as expressions of regret. On the other hand, imperative expressions reflect command, inquiry, and exclamation meanings. Additionally, sentences indicating astonishment or surprise were found.”

This study was to analyze the character growth of a unique character of Lira in Alexandra Christo’s To Kill a Kingdom. It is regarded as a unique character as Lira is not just character. She undergoes a transformation from a rude animal to good human being. Not like the change of character of a man whose changes only from bad to good character without anatomic change, Lira has to face problems to become a good person. Using close reading, the researcher is able to explore deeply the character of Lira before changing and after changing into a human with the result that after taking pains to overcome the problems, Lira is able to change her personality from bad ones: bloodthirsty and obedient (to bad things) to good ones: merciful, disobedient (to bad things), selfless, and noble person. Though the six determinants of Hurlock play important role for the character change, however, the researcher highlights that the more important ones are within somebody himself/herself. Therefore, the six determinants of Hurlock need attention to be more paid because the person plays a role in the world. Thus, the world is a stage within which there are many roles played so that people should be careful to play their roles in this stage.

The poem al-Hubbu wa al-Hurriyah is the work of Ali Ahmad Bakathir, an Arab poet born in Indonesia. Not many Indonesian people understand this poem in depth. This study aims to reveal the semiotics of the poem al-Hubbu wa al-Hurriyah from the perspective of heuristic, hermeneutic, model, matrix, and hypnogram readings. The method used is descriptive qualitative with the techniques of collecting, selecting, and interpreting. The results of this study show heuristic, hermeneutic, model, matrix, and hypogram readings. Through heuristic reading, the linguistic meaning is shown in the form of a translation of the poem al-Hubbu wa al-Hurriyah in general, and hermeneutic reading provides a deep understanding of the meaning of the poem, where love is a force that drives the struggle to achieve independence. In this poem, the matrix and model are related to the themes of love and independence. In addition, the program that appears is related to the verses of the Qur'an, which contain the spirit, patience and persistence of a struggle and love for the homeland.
