Abstract

Pangkalpinang is an area with a high potential for flood hazards. Therefore, it is essential to conduct spatial analysis to determine the flood vulnerability levels in this region. This study aims to assess flood vulnerability in Pangkalpinang City spatially. The research uses a quantitative approach with data analysis conducted through the overlay method and Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The SMCE analysis results indicate that most areas in Pangkalpinang City have moderate to high flood vulnerability levels, suggesting a significant potential for flooding. Regarding dominant factors, the AHP weighting results show that land use plays a major role in determining flood vulnerability, with a weight of 0.40, meaning land use contributes 40% of the total factors. Built-up areas have a higher flood risk, explaining the high vulnerability in the city center of Pangkalpinang. Conversely, areas with low or no vulnerability are generally located in higher elevation zones with non-built-up land use, indicating that greater vegetation and higher terrain reduce the likelihood of flooding.

Abstract

AbstrakLada (Piper ningrum L.) merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan salah satu komoditas subsektor perkebunan yang memberikan devisa negara yang cukup besar bagi Indonesia. Upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman lada dapat dimulai dengan evaluasi kesesuaian lahan sebelum budidaya lada dimulai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kesesuaian lahan aktual dan potensial di Kabupaten Bangka Belitung bagian selatan, memberikan peta, serta memberikan rekomendasi perbaikan lahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskripsi eksploratif serta penelitian dan analisis lapangan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari evaluasi kesesuaian lahan untuk tanaman lada berdasarkan kondisi sebenarnya memiliki kemiringan lahan 0-3% dan 3-8%. Tekstur tanah sedang dan agak halus, kedalaman efektif 40 cm dan 100 cm. Kondisi kimia tanah memiliki pH < 5,5, kandungan C-organik (Satuan Peta Tanah) tertinggi LMU 5 sebesar 5,76 dan terendah LMU 8 sebesar 1,15. N-total tertinggi sebesar 0,19% pada LMU 2 dan terendah sebesar 0,04 pada LMU 9. P2O5 tertinggi pada LMU 5 sebesar 163,20 mg/kg dan terendah sebesar 33,02 mg/kg. K2O tertinggi adalah 0.13me/100g di LMU 1 dan 2, dan terendah di LMU 12 adalah 0.05. KTK tertinggi adalah 26,55/100g di LMU 8 dan terendah di LMU 9 adalah 6,05 me/100g. Kelas kesesuaian lahan sebenarnya untuk tanaman Lada adalah Sesuai Marjinal (S3). Faktor pembatas kesesuaian lahan aktual tanaman cabai adalah media perakaran, retensi hara, hara tersedia, dan bahaya banjir. Faktor pembatas tersebut dapat diatasi dengan perbaikan optimal menjadi sangat sesuai (S1), media perakaran menjadi masalah karena kedalaman tanah cukup dangkal dan jika dilakukan perbaikan optimal hanya berubah menjadi S2 atau cukup sesuai.Kata Kunci : Lada; Satuan Pemetaan Tanah; Faktor pembatas

Abstract

Abstract The coastal waters surrounding Pasir Padi Beach, located on the eastern side of Pangkalpinang, constitute a transitional zone between terrestrial and marine environments that is highly susceptible to sedimentation pressure, particularly from tin mining activities. This study aims to map and analyze the distribution and concentration of Total Suspended Solids (TSS) in the coastal waters of Pasir Padi Beach and its surrounding areas. The monitoring was carried out using a Google Earth Engine–based platform over a four year period (2022–2025) utilizing Sentinel 2A satellite imagery. The analysis employed a modified version of the Parwati method to estimate TSS. The findings revealed TSS concentrations ranging from 60–80 mg/L and >80 mg/L, represented by red and orange colors, which were predominantly distributed along the coastline. Meanwhile, the green areas, indicating TSS concentrations of 20–30 mg/L, functioned as a transitional or coastal belt before reaching the offshore waters characterized by low TSS values of 0–20 mg/L, depicted in blue. These results demonstrate that regions located near river mouths and tin mining zones are more prone to high sedimentation intensity, with the highest accumulation occurring toward offshore areas. Consequently, periodic monitoring is essential to mitigate potential environmental impacts such as river mouth siltation and disruptions to coastal dynamics and coastal activities.
