Thesis, Department of Biology, Faculty of Mathematics, Natural and Earth Sciences, State University of Manado. Tondano. 2024. Supervisor Prof. Dr. Yermia S. Mokosuli, M.Si and Dr. Decky W. Kamagi, M.Sc. This research is motivated by teachers who did not maximize diagnostic assessments due to a lack of understanding and limited time spent creating, applying and analyzing data. This research aims to develop a diagnostic assessment that is effective, efficient, easy to perform and economical. This research is a developmental research using the ADDIE model which includes five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. According to the research results on products developed by media experts, the percentage obtained was 97.1% (very achievable). Then for the evaluation experts, the percentage obtained is 100% (very achievable). Moreover, materials experts, the percentage obtained was 98.75% (very feasible). Meanwhile, the test results for subject teachers' responses obtained a percentage of 97.3% (very feasible) and the average percentage of student responses was 91.8% (very feasible). The development of diagnostic assessments based on Google Forms materials is very suitable for carrying out assessments that can be carried out both online and offline

Abstract

Algae are lower plants that do not have differentiated structures such as roots, stems, and leaves; although they may appear to have differences, they are actually just thallus forms. Macroalgae have macroscopic body shape and size consisting of fronds without distinct roots, stems, and leaves. Macroalgal diversity is not only reflected in their ecological and economic significance but also in their high species richness and wide geographical distribution within aquatic ecosystems. However, research on the species diversity of macroalgae in Budo Tourism Village Beach, North Minahasa remains limited. This study aims to identify the macroalgal species in the Budo Tourism Village, Wori, North Minahasa area. The research employed the line transect and quadrat-based sampling method, which was implemented at two distinct station locations: Station I (rocky reef substrate) and Station II (sandy-muddy substrate). Macroalgae identification was facilitated by utilizing the comprehensive identification textbooks. The research reveals the presence of four macroalgal species, comprising three brown algae (Phaeophyceae), namely Padina boergesenii, Sargassum llinearifolium, Turbinaria ornata and one red algae (Rhodophyceae), Gracilaria corticata. Sargassum linearifolium, Padina boergesenii, and Gracilaria corticata was found in rocky reef substrate. Turbinaria ornate and Padina boergesenii was found in sandy-muddy substrate.

Abstract

Penelitian Pengembangan ini merupakan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran dalam bentuk video pembelajaran yang layak digunakan sebagai media pemebelajaran. Pengembangan media pembelajaran ini menggunakan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini melalui wawancara dan angket. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangakan memperoleh nilai rata-rata dengan persentase 95% oleh ahli media, Nilai rata-rata dengan persentase 88% oleh ahli materi, Nilai rata-rata dengan persentase 92% oleh guru biologi, dan untuk rata-rata keseluruhan respon dari siswa 90% dengan kesimpulan sangat baik. Berdasarkan analisis hasil penelitian, maka pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis video pembelajaran pada materi sistem ekskresi telah mendapatkan pernilaian dengan kriteria valid dan sehingga layak digunakan sebagai media pembalajaran di SMA.

Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan keterampilan penting yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran Biologi, khususnya pada materi keanekaragaman hayati yang menuntut pemahaman mendalam, analisis, dan penerapan konsep dalam kehidupan nyata. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing di kelas X-B SMA Negeri 3 Gorontalo Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, masing-masing mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan terdiri atas modul ajar, lembar kerja siswa, observasi, dan tes hasil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam hasil belajar siswa dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus I, persentase ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 60,66% dengan skor tertinggi 65, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 80,55% dengan skor tertinggi 95. Pembelajaran berbasis inkuiri terbimbing terbukti mampu meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam diskusi, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, serta kemampuan menyelesaikan masalah secara kreatif. Aktivitas seperti pengamatan, formulasi pertanyaan, dan presentasi kelompok memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap pengembangan berpikir kreatif siswa. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa model inkuiri terbimbing dapat menjadi alternatif strategi pembelajaran yang efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada praktik pedagogi Biologi dengan menyediakan bukti empiris tentang efektivitas pendekatan inkuiri di sekolah menengah, dan membuka peluang bagi riset lanjutan dalam pengembangan pembelajaran inovatif lintas mata pelajaran.
