Abstract

Sampah adalah benda yang nilai kegunaannya sudah habis karena aktivitas manusia, hewan, atau peristiwa alami. Apabila tidak dikelola dengan baik, maka sampah dapat menjadi sumber masalah. Pada saat ini, masalah pengelolaan sampah terjadi pada Objek Wisata Aan Secret Waterfall yang terletak di Desa Aan, Kabupaten Klungkung. Desa Aan adalah saat ini sedang berkembang menjadi desa destinasi wisata kelas internasional. Namun, dalam perkembangannya desa ini masih tertinggal dalam pengelolaan sampah. Pengadaan Tempat Pembuangan Sementara Reduce-Reuse-Recycle (TPS 3R) dipilih menjadi alternatif pengelolaan sampah di Desa Aan. Metode penentuan alternatif pengelolaan sampah menggunakan data primer seperti wawancara dengan perangkat desa dan observasi lang-sung di lapangan. Data sekunder juga digunakan seperti melakukan studi literatur. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi memberikan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat mengenai bagaimana sistem pengelolaan sampah dengan yang benar dalam TPS 3R di kawasan Objek Wisata Aan Secret Waterfall dan memberikan pendampingan kepada masyarakat hingga mem-iliki desain gambar perencanaan TPS 3R yang sesuai dengan SNI 19-2454-2002 dan Kementerian PU 2013. Sehingga dengan adanya kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dapat memberikan kemampuan dan kemandirian kepada masyarakat un-tuk mulai menjaga dan merawat kebersihan kawasan Objek Wisata Aan Secret Waterfall dan mengurangi timbunan sampah dengan menerapkan sistem pengelolaan sampah terpadu.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kualitas hidup warga. Kegiatan  ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis implementasi serta pengawasan program pemberdayaan masyarakat yang dilakukan di Kecamatan Kediri, Bali. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan  ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kecamatan Kediri telah berjalan dengan baik, namun masih terdapat beberapa kendala yang perlu diatasi, seperti kurangnya partisipasi aktif dari masyarakat dan keterbatasan sumber daya. Pengawasan program juga ditemukan masih memiliki beberapa kelemahan, termasuk kurangnya monitoring dan evaluasi yang sistematis. Untuk mengoptimalkan hasil program pemberdayaan, maka perlu dilakukan peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat melalui pendekatan partisipatif, serta penguatan mekanisme pengawasan dengan melibatkan berbagai pemangku kepentingan. Dengan demikian, diharapkan program pemberdayaan masyarakat di Kecamatan Kediri dapat berjalan lebih efektif dan memberikan dampak yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Selain itu, peningkatan transparansi dan akuntabilitas dalam pelaksanaan program juga perlu diperhatikan untuk memastikan bahwa setiap langkah yang diambil sesuai dengan tujuan yang telah ditetapkan.

Abstract

The dome roof truss structure with coconut wood is an innovation initiated by CV. Bali Mandala on one of their projects located in Hawaii. Where the main material uses coconut wood which has been treated first to increase termite and fire resistance. This dome roof has a unique floral patterned truss structure, because of this unusual shape of the structure, so to ensure that the structure is safe and can be marketed widely, it is necessary to complete a feasibility test. The limited facilities for direct wind load testing are the reasons why analysis with three-dimensional (3D) computer modeling is needed. To be able to obtain the appropriate structural behavior between reality and the 3D model, validation was carried out by trial and error on the elasticity of the wood to obtain the appropriate deformation between the structure in the field and the 3D model. The validated 3D model is provided with roof loads, wind and snow loads following ASCE 7-22 provisions for the Hawaii area. From the combination of service load (D+Lr) the maximum deformation is 20.7 mm while the maximum allowable deflection is 30 mm. The tensile, compressive, shear, and flexural capacity of wooden elements, is checked based on the Allowable Stress Design Method (ASD) SNI 7973: 2013, where the compressive, tensile, shear, and flexural stresses due to the load are smaller than the allowable stress. So, from the results of stress control and deflection which are still below the limit value, it can be said that the dome roof with the coconut wood frame structure is safe and can be applied.

Abstract

The city of Denpasar has experienced rapid urbanization, necessitating improvements in infrastructure. One such infrastructure project is located in the Simpang Sanur–Tohpati area of Denpasar City. The success of this drainage project is crucial in addressing the recurring flood problems that threaten the city annually. This study aims to analyze the key determinants of project success in the drainage management initiative in the Simpang Sanur–Tohpati area. A quantitative approach was employed, using multiple linear regression analysis to examine the relationship between independent variables and the dependent variable. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents from the Denpasar City Government, contractors, and consultants directly involved in the implementation of the project. The findings indicate that cost, time, quality, and occupational health and safety (OHS) have a significant influence on project success. Notably, the study highlights the need to pay particular attention to OHS implementation, even though its statistical contribution is relatively smaller compared to the other factors. This research contributes to a better understanding among stakeholders of the importance of each factor in determining project success. It underscores the need for thorough project planning, emphasizing that cost, time, quality, and the implementation of OHS are critical factors that significantly influence the success of future projects.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the highly competitive dynamics of the tourism industry in Bali, which demands effective internal coordination. The study aims to analyze the organizational communication climate implemented at Travel Agent Real Bali Holidays, focusing on the aspects of openness, effectiveness, and communication sustainability. The research method used is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques through non-participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, and document studies. Research informants were determined using purposive sampling from management, employees across various divisions, and external partners. The results indicate that the organizational communication climate at Real Bali Holidays is flexible and adaptive to operational needs. Communication openness is evident from the space provided for organization members to convey ideas and constraints without rigid structural barriers. Communication effectiveness is supported by the use of integrated communication channels that ensure message clarity and minimize misunderstandings. Communication sustainability is maintained through consistent interaction patterns in daily work activities, although most practices remain informal. These findings emphasize that a conducive communication climate plays a vital role as the foundation for cross-divisional work coordination. The implication of this research is the need to strengthen the communication system through formal procedure standardization to support organizational sustainability amidst industry competition.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana Meisya Sallwa memanfaatkan media sosial Instagram dalam membangun personal branding dan mendukung pengembangan kariernya sebagai representasi GenZ. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam terhadap enam informan yang terdiri atas lima pengikut akun @meisyasallwa sebagai partisipan utama dan satu praktisi komunikasi sebagai narasumber ahli yang memberikan penilaian profesional serta perspektif akademik terhadap kredibilitas dan kesan awal (first impression) personal branding Meisya Sallwa. Data tambahan diperoleh melalui observasi konten dan dokumentasi akun Instagram. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Meisya Sallwa secara konsisten memanfaatkan fitur-fitur Instagram seperti feeds, reels, stories, dan channel sebagai inovasi komunikasi yang efektif untuk memperkuat citra diri. Berdasarkan teori Difusi Inovasi Rogers, Meisya menunjukkan karakter early adopter yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan platform. Penerapan 8 Laws of Personal Branding Montoya tercermin pada Hukum Spesialisasi, Hukum Diferensiasi, Hukum Visibilitas, dan Hukum Nama Baik, yang membangun citra profesional, kredibel, serta inspiratif di mata audiens. Strategi personal branding yang kuat tersebut turut membuka peluang kolaborasi dengan berbagai merek dan memperkuat reputasi kariernya. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa personal branding yang konsisten, positif, dan autentik di media sosial berperan penting dalam pengembangan karier Gen Z.

Abstract

Abstrak Program Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Sampah Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Peran Masyarakat di Desa Sukawati bertujuan untuk memperbaiki pengelolaan sampah di desa tersebut melalui pendekatan edukasi dan aksi lingkungan. Desa Sukawati, yang dikenal dengan potensi seni dan budayanya, menghadapi tantangan serius terkait pengelolaan sampah akibat kurangnya kesadaran dan pengetahuan masyarakat. Metode pelaksanaan yang digunakan yaitu, melibatkan tiga tahap utama. Pertama, tahap sosialisasi dan edukasi akan dilakukan melalui seminar dan lokakarya. Selanjutnya, tahap implementasi aksi lingkungan akan mencakup kegiatan gotong royong membersihkan lingkungan. Terakhir, evaluasi dan keberlanjutan program akan dilakukan dengan survei dan observasi untuk menilai dampak program serta pembentukan tim pengelola lingkungan desa yang akan mengawasi pelaksanaan dan memastikan program berjalan berkelanjutan. Melalui tahap sosialisasi dan edukasi, masyarakat menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman tentang pentingnya pemilahan sampah dan cara melakukannya. Implementasi aksi lingkungan, termasuk gotong royong, lomba kebersihan, dan pembentukan bank sampah, memperlihatkan partisipasi aktif warga dalam pengelolaan sampah, yang berdampak positif pada penurunan volume sampah yang dibuang ke TPA dan peningkatan daur ulang. Kata kunci: sosialisasi; pengelolaan sampah; desa sukawati Abstract Program Sosialisasi Pengelolaan Sampah Sebagai Upaya Peningkatan Peran Masyarakat di Desa Sukawati bertujuan untuk memperbaiki pengelolaan sampah di desa tersebut melalui pendekatan edukasi dan aksi lingkungan. Abstract

Labor productivity is an important indicator for controlling time, cost, and quality in construction projects. The installation of lightweight brick walls requires a high level of efficiency; however, in practice, there is often a discrepancy between the actual productivity in the field and applicable standards. This study aims to analyze labor productivity in lightweight brick wall installation work and compare it with the standards set out in Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (Permen PUPR) Number 01 of 2022. The study was conducted on the Sudamala Resort Ubud construction project using direct observation and a work sampling approach. Observations were made for 14 working days during normal working hours to obtain data on the number of workers, effective working time, and volume of work produced. The data were analyzed to determine the productivity value and coefficient of workers, which consisted of foremen, master craftsmen, craftsmen, and laborers. The results of the study show that the average productivity of workers in the field is 18.175 m²/day for foremen, 19.123 m²/day for master craftsmen, and 18.546 m²/day for craftsmen and workers, with productivity coefficients of 0.055, 0.041, and 0.239, respectively. Compared to the standard of Permen PUPR 01 of 2022, there are differences in productivity values and coefficients in each labor category. These differences are influenced by the field conditions, workforce composition, and work implementation methods.

Abstract

Cost efficiency is an important aspect of project planning. One common approach to increasing cost efficiency is value engineering. This study applies Value Engineering to the Padang Sambian 1 Public Elementary School Building Construction Project with a total planned budget of IDR. 10,019,488,000.00. The analysis was conducted using the Dell'Isola method, which consists of four stages: information, creative, analytical, and recommendation. Based on the results of the study, the items carried out by Value Engineering include concrete work items on floors 1, 2, 3 and the roof, wooden plank truss work and roof tiles (roof work), door window hanging and locking work on floors 1, 2, and 3, masonry and plastering work (wall work) on floors 1, 2, and 3, paving block installation, ceramic floor and wall installation on floors 1, 2, and 3, and ceiling work on floor 3. The cost efficiency obtained using the Dell’Isola theory value engineering method is IDR. 224,566,091.39 or 2.24% of the total project cost with details of savings of IDR. 69,226,207.23 on concrete work on floors 1, 2, 3, and roof, IDR. 58,015,626.87 on truss work, wooden planks and roof tiles (roof work), IDR. 6,890,888.88 on door and window hanging and locking work on floors 1, 2, and 3, IDR. 1,160,097.63 on masonry and plastering work (wall work) on floors 1, 2, and 3, IDR. 48,561,507.2 on paving block masonry, IDR. 18,528,260.2 on ceramic floor and wall masonry on floors 1, 2, and 3, and IDR. 22,183,503.3 on the 3rd floor ceiling work. The benefits of applying value engineering are that it can reduce project costs without reducing the function, quality, and performance of the building, while providing a more efficient technical basis for decision-making at the planning and construction implementation stages.

Abstract

Urban river restoration areas that function as public spaces and tourism destinations are increasingly exposed to flood risks due to changing hydrological conditions, urbanization, and limited early warning mechanisms. Objective: This study aims to design and implement an automatic flood early warning system based on water level sensors and SMS notifications in the Tukad Tagtag river restoration area, Denpasar, in order to improve flood risk mitigation and public safety. Methodology: This research employs a qualitative applied approach using the Action Research method, which integrates planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through field observation, system testing, stakeholder consultation, and document analysis. The analysis was conducted using a descriptive and iterative evaluation approach to assess system performance and improvement. Findings: The system successfully detects water level changes in real time, triggers threshold-based alerts, and delivers SMS notifications effectively. System performance improved after iterative adjustments, particularly in sensor positioning and microcontroller configuration, resulting in enhanced stability and reduced false warnings. Implications: The study demonstrates that simple and accessible technology can support effective flood risk mitigation. The system can be applied by local governments and river managers to enhance preparedness, response time, and safety in urban river environments. Originality: This research contributes a practical model by integrating sensor-based detection, real-time processing, and SMS communication within a river restoration tourism context using an iterative Action Research approach.
