Abstract

Puri Raharja General Hospital, one of the primary healthcare facilities in Denpasar City, faces challenges related to insufficient parking. This study investigates the parking characteristics and requirements to support the planning of a multilevel parking facility as an alternative solution for optimizing limited parking areas. Data were collected through parking inventories, cordon, and patrol surveys. The analysis revealed the following characteristics for light vehicles and motorcycles in both on-street and off-street parking areas: total parking volumes of 326 light vehicles and 1,646 motorcycles; peak accumulations of 37 and 252 vehicles per hour; average parking durations ranging from 1.034–3.484 hours and 1.289–3.250 hours; peak duration distributions of 74.60% and 77.18%; turnover rates of 0.650 and 1.236 vehicles per parking space unit (PSU) per hour; maximum parking capacities of 18 and 74 PSUs per hour; parking provisions of 265 light vehicles and 1,071 motorcycles; and parking indices of 2.891 and 8.782, respectively. Based on these findings, the total parking area requirements are estimated at 1,090.63 m² for light vehicles and 1,517.89 m² for motorcycles. The proposed construction of a motorcycle parking building on the south side of the hospital and redesign of off-street parking parallel to Gadung Street are expected to reduce the motorcycle parking demand to approximately 1,127.89 m².

Abstract

Cost efficiency is an important aspect of project planning. One common approach to increasing cost efficiency is value engineering. This study applies Value Engineering to the Padang Sambian 1 Public Elementary School Building Construction Project with a total planned budget of IDR. 10,019,488,000.00. The analysis was conducted using the Dell'Isola method, which consists of four stages: information, creative, analytical, and recommendation. Based on the results of the study, the items carried out by Value Engineering include concrete work items on floors 1, 2, 3 and the roof, wooden plank truss work and roof tiles (roof work), door window hanging and locking work on floors 1, 2, and 3, masonry and plastering work (wall work) on floors 1, 2, and 3, paving block installation, ceramic floor and wall installation on floors 1, 2, and 3, and ceiling work on floor 3. The cost efficiency obtained using the Dell’Isola theory value engineering method is IDR. 224,566,091.39 or 2.24% of the total project cost with details of savings of IDR. 69,226,207.23 on concrete work on floors 1, 2, 3, and roof, IDR. 58,015,626.87 on truss work, wooden planks and roof tiles (roof work), IDR. 6,890,888.88 on door and window hanging and locking work on floors 1, 2, and 3, IDR. 1,160,097.63 on masonry and plastering work (wall work) on floors 1, 2, and 3, IDR. 48,561,507.2 on paving block masonry, IDR. 18,528,260.2 on ceramic floor and wall masonry on floors 1, 2, and 3, and IDR. 22,183,503.3 on the 3rd floor ceiling work. The benefits of applying value engineering are that it can reduce project costs without reducing the function, quality, and performance of the building, while providing a more efficient technical basis for decision-making at the planning and construction implementation stages.

Abstract

Perundungan merupakan salah satu permasalahan yang masih ditemukan di lingkungan sekolah dasar dan dapat berdampak negatif terhadap perkembangan psikologis, sosial, dan emosional anak. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan upaya preventif melalui kegiatan sosialisasi dan edukasi berbasis hak anak. Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) ini dilaksanakan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 1 Ubung dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa mengenai perundungan serta pentingnya perlindungan hak anak di lingkungan sekolah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara dengan pihak sekolah, serta pelaksanaan sosialisasi dan edukasi dengan pendekatan partisipatif melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi, dan interaksi langsung dengan siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa mengenai pengertian, bentuk, dan dampak perundungan, serta pentingnya saling menghargai dan menghormati hak sesama. Selain itu, kegiatan ini juga mendukung terciptanya lingkungan sekolah yang aman, nyaman, dan ramah anak. Dengan demikian, program sosialisasi dan edukasi anti perundungan berbasis hak anak terbukti efektif sebagai upaya preventif dalam mencegah perundungan serta meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terhadap perlindungan hak anak di lingkungan sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Pembangunan villa di kawasan Pangkung Tibah, Tabanan, Bali menghadapi tantangan geoteknik berupa tanah lempung lunak bekas sawah dengan daya dukung rendah dan kompresibilitas tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan membandingkan efisiensi teknis pondasi dangkal (telapak) dan pondasi dalam (bored pile) pada kondisi tersebut. Gap penelitian terletak pada belum adanya studi yang mengintegrasikan analisis beban aktual dari pemodelan struktural dengan efisiensi material beton untuk lokasi dengan tanah keras pada kedalaman dangkal (5 m). Data sekunder berupa beban aksial (16.236 kg) dan momen (4.793,5 kg·m) dari dokumen perencana serta uji sondir (CPT) dianalisis menggunakan metode Meyerhoff untuk pondasi dangkal dan pondasi bored pile. Hasil menunjukkan seluruh variasi pondasi dangkal (1,6–2,0 m) tidak aman karena qall (4,96–5,29 ton/m²) < qmax (7,65–13,36 ton/m²) serta e > B/6 pada B < 1,8 m. Sebaliknya, bored pile diameter 20–35 cm dengan panjang 5 m aman secara teknis (Pall 18,32–52,00 ton > 16,236 ton). Meskipun volume beton bored pile 24,19–32,94% lebih besar akibat pile cap, keamanan teknis menjadi prioritas. Kesimpulannya, bored pile direkomendasikan untuk menjamin stabilitas struktur pada lahan bekas sawah dengan tanah keras pada kedalaman 5 m.

Abstract

The dome roof truss structure with coconut wood is an innovation initiated by CV. Bali Mandala on one of their projects located in Hawaii. Where the main material uses coconut wood which has been treated first to increase termite and fire resistance. This dome roof has a unique floral patterned truss structure, because of this unusual shape of the structure, so to ensure that the structure is safe and can be marketed widely, it is necessary to complete a feasibility test. The limited facilities for direct wind load testing are the reasons why analysis with three-dimensional (3D) computer modeling is needed. To be able to obtain the appropriate structural behavior between reality and the 3D model, validation was carried out by trial and error on the elasticity of the wood to obtain the appropriate deformation between the structure in the field and the 3D model. The validated 3D model is provided with roof loads, wind and snow loads following ASCE 7-22 provisions for the Hawaii area. From the combination of service load (D+Lr) the maximum deformation is 20.7 mm while the maximum allowable deflection is 30 mm. The tensile, compressive, shear, and flexural capacity of wooden elements, is checked based on the Allowable Stress Design Method (ASD) SNI 7973: 2013, where the compressive, tensile, shear, and flexural stresses due to the load are smaller than the allowable stress. So, from the results of stress control and deflection which are still below the limit value, it can be said that the dome roof with the coconut wood frame structure is safe and can be applied.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine how Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Badung's public communication strategy is used to develop pelestarian and cagar budaya. The method used is the kualitatif method with the wawancara method of data collection. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data analysis, and kesimpulan analysis. The results indicate that Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Badung is not involved in the melestarikan and mengelola of cagar budaya in Kabupaten Badung. In this regard, Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Badung also engages a few businesses, such as Indonesian citizens, in this regard. Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Badung komunikan/khalayak refers to the people who live in the province of Badung. On the other hand, generasi muda is the primary sasaran of communication strategy. The media used by Dinas Kebudayaan Kabupaten Badung include electronic and ceramic media, including baleho/pamflet, brosur, spanduk, and posters. Electronic media used include radio, television, and the internet (including Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube).
