Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that influence the unemployment rate and its impact on the economic and social welfare of the community. The research method uses a literature study. The findings show that factors such as inequality in labor supply and demand, government policies that are less pro-people, and population growth are the main causes of high unemployment. Although the government has taken measures, such as the allocation of funds for handling COVID-19 and incentive programs, the decline in unemployment has not been significant. Recommendations include policies that support increased employment, investment in education and skills training, gender inclusion in the workforce, and cooperation between the government, private sector and civil society to create sustainable employment. With these measures, Indonesia is expected to reduce its unemployment rate and create a more stable and inclusive economy.

Abstract

The economy is very important for the survival and development of a country. This research shows the impact of exports on Indonesia's economic growth. In this research, circumstances, conditions or other factors, are investigated and the results are recorded in a research report. Stability testing is required before starting analysis. Indonesia's exports fell 4.89 percent to $14.18 billion in December 2018, meaning that the economy will shrink between 2018 and 2021. It is hoped that this research will help the government and authorities to take appropriate steps to improve the Indonesian economy.

Abstract

Abstract

Quality learning requires the systematic integration of literacy and numeracy as foundational competencies that support students’ critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and overall academic achievement. This literature review aims to identify the specific strategies used to integrate literacy and numeracy and evaluate their impact on critical thinking, conceptual understanding, and student engagement within the Indonesian education context. A narrative literature analysis was conducted by reviewing empirical studies, national education reports, and policy documents published between 2009-2023. Sources were screened based on their relevance to integration models, curriculum implementation, and measurable learning outcomes. The findings indicate that literacy–numeracy integration is most effective when implemented through contextual learning materials, project-based learning, and the Independent Curriculum, which collectively enhance students’ analytical thinking and comprehension of academic concepts. Evidence also shows that literacy-focused interventions and expanded access to learning resources increase motivation and engagement, although numeracy performance remains comparatively lower and requires stronger reinforcement. Overall, this review demonstrates that meaningful integration of literacy and numeracy contributes significantly to students’ readiness to engage with complex academic tasks. The study concludes that targeted integration strategies, supported by appropriate curriculum structures and equitable access to learning resources, are essential for improving learning quality across educational levels.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study addresses the challenges of limited teaching materials and the need for innovative tools to enhance students' statistical literacy and self-efficacy by developing inferential statistics teaching materials integrated with Statcal software. The primary aim is to create and evaluate the effectiveness of these materials in improving students' skills and confidence in statistical learning. Methodology: The research employed a qualitative approach and involved collaboration with two material expert lecturers, one statistical program expert lecturer, and one student. The development process followed four stages: definition, design, development, and dissemination, ensuring a comprehensive framework for creating effective teaching resources Main Findings: Validation results showed the materials were valid with a score of 4.21, practical with an 83.72% score, and effective with an 82.4% score, all in the good category. Additionally, the teaching materials significantly improved students' statistical literacy (72.78%) and self-efficacy (73.52%), categorized as good. Novelty/Originality of this study: The utilizing interactive tools such as Statcal, students can understand statistical concepts more deeply through a practical and contextual approach. This is relevant to be applied to statistics learning in schools and universities, especially in preparing students to face the challenges of the digital data era. In addition, this study also encourages teachers to integrate technology in learning to create a more engaging and effective learning experience.

Abstract

Purpose - This study critically synthesizes research on the development of technology-based assessment instruments in secondary science education (junior and senior high school) through a structured Narrative Literature Review (NLR). This review therefore identifies instrument types, implementation contexts, research dimensions examined, and learning impacts, while highlighting gaps in equity, teacher readiness, and longitudinal outcomes.Methodology - Articles were systematically retrieved from Google Scholar and Mendeley within the 2015–2025 publication range using predefined keywords related to technology-based assessment and science learning. Inclusion criteria required peer-reviewed empirical studies focusing on secondary-level science and reporting instrument development or evaluation. Fourteen eligible articles were analyzed using structured content analysis, with emphasis on instrument characteristics, evidence of validity and reliability, implementation contexts, methodological approaches, and reported limitations.Findings - The synthesis indicates that research predominantly centers on Computer-Based Testing (CBT), Computerized Adaptive Testing (CAT), gamified assessments, two-tier diagnostic tests, and LMS-based e-portfolios. Overall, these instruments demonstrate satisfactory validity and reliability and effectively measure higher-order thinking skills and conceptual understanding. They also enhance student motivation and accelerate feedback processes. However, most evidence is based on short-term, small-scale implementations, with limited attention to equity issues, teacher readiness, and sustained learning effects.Contribution - This review integrates psychometric, pedagogical, and technological perspectives into a coherent analytical framework for technology-based assessment in science education. It clarifies existing research gaps and underscores the need for broader contextual validation, stronger methodological rigor, and the integration of learning analytics to ensure sustainable and evidence-based digital assessment practices.
