Abstract

Character plays a crucial role in shaping religious moderation in the millennial generation. This research investigates the role of character education in forming attitudes of tolerance, respect for differences, and understanding of religious moderation in the millennial generation. Through a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, the findings show that character education activities in schools, such as group discussions and extracurricular activities, have a positive impact in shaping the character of the millennial generation who are moderate in religion. Character education programs that emphasize the values ​​of diversity, harmony and respect for religious plurality have also proven effective in building a strong foundation for religious moderation. In conclusion, character education is a vital instrument in supporting the development of religious moderation in the millennial generation, by emphasizing the need for collaboration between schools, government, families and society.

Abstract

Market analysis is one of the weapons as well as a shield for entrepreneurs, so that their businesses have resilience against competition. Market analysis will be the "spy" for entrepreneurs without time limits to make their entrepreneurship very flexible towards changes in the market, so that they can avoid losses, especially the more fatal one, bankruptcy. Based on this, the author is willing to collaborate with the Government of Gorontalo Province and CIDA Canada in equipping the community engaged in entrepreneurship through the cooperative and industrial service, to train knowledge and skills in market analysis. It is hoped that through this training, many business actors and those starting businesses in Gorontalo Province will have resilience against losses, especially bankruptcy.

Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Teknologi Pengolahan Nata de Coco di PT. Tropica Nucifera Industtry Kabupaten Bantul, Provinsi DIY Yogyakarta. Kegiatan ini difokuskan pada pemahaman dan penelusuran tentang proses produksi Nata de Coco yang dilakukan di perusahaan tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data pada kegiatan ini melibatkan observasi lapangan dengan partisipasi aktif dalam setiap tahap pengolahan nata de coco, serta melakukan wawancara dengan karyawan. Tujuan dari metode ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran yang komprehensif mengenai teknik pengolahan nata de coco di PT. Tropica Nucifera Industtry Kabupaten Bantul, Provinsi DIY Yogyakarta. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pengolahan nata de coco di PT. Tropica Nucifera Industry terdiri dari delapan tahapan. Tahapan tersebut meliputi: persiapan wadah, pembuatan media, pembuatan starter, penuangan media ke dalam wadah, pembibitan, pemanenan, pemotongan, dan pencucian.

Abstract

A study was conducted to understand the process of making green spinach noodles at K.U.B SRI REZEKI. Experimentation was the method employed in this activity. The preparation of raw materials is the initial stage in producing flavorful green spinach noodles, followed by sorting, washing, grinding, sifting flour, blending ingredients, milling, and finally, packaging. Results from organoleptic tests indicated that in taste evaluation, the panelists favored the 30:5 ratio in green spinach noodles. For color assessment, the highest average score was achieved at the 30:3 ratio, and in texture evaluation, the highest average score was also found at the 30:3 ratio. This differs from the other two ratios, namely 30:5 and 30:2.Keywords: Wet noodles, flavor, green spinach.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the era of Industry 5.0 necessitates accelerated digitalization in developing countries to enhance economic growth, improve competitiveness, and reduce socio-economic disparities. This study employs a quantitative research method, utilizing survey data collected from 230 respondents representing diverse sectors, including government, private enterprises, and educational institutions. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness of policy strategies in fostering digital transformation, with a focus on identifying key drivers and barriers. The results emphasize the critical role of robust digital infrastructure, targeted government incentives, and active engagement in public-private partnerships. Additionally, the study highlights the significance of digital literacy programs in bridging skill gaps and promoting innovation. Findings suggest that countries prioritizing comprehensive digital policies, workforce upskilling, and inclusive technology adoption demonstrate marked progress in their digitalization efforts. This paper concludes by recommending the implementation of adaptive regulatory frameworks, increased investments in emerging technologies, and strengthened collaboration across sectors to drive long-term, sustainable digital growth and development in the context of Industry 5.0.

Abstract

This study explores the role of mathematics education in developing critical thinking skills in students within the context of Industry 5.0. As industries evolve and integrate human creativity with advanced technologies, the demand for critical thinking and problem-solving abilities has become more pronounced. Mathematics education, with its focus on logic, analysis, and problem-solving, is uniquely positioned to nurture these skills. The research employs a quantitative survey approach with a descriptive correlational design, analyzing the relationship between mathematics instruction and the development of critical thinking among high school and university students. A total of 150 respondents participated, all of whom had been exposed to problem-solving-based mathematics teaching methods. The study investigates the effectiveness of these methods in enhancing students’ critical thinking abilities and their relevance to meeting the challenges of Industry 5.0. Findings suggest a significant positive correlation between problem-solving mathematics education and the improvement of critical thinking skills. This research highlights the importance of integrating critical thinking into mathematics curricula to better prepare students for the digital and technological demands of the modern workforce.

Abstract

Coconut pulp is a by-product of the production of coconut milk. This agricultural waste is available in large quantities and has not been used optimally by the community. Crude fiber contained in young coconut fruit is digested, so it can be used as a food additive. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality characteristics of making cake flour made from coconut dregs with the addition of pandan leaf extract which will be analyzed for moisture content, ash content, color and organoleptic tests. The average value of the water content test in coconut dregs flour without pandan extract is 6,38% and with the addition of pandan extract 6,84% while the ash content of flour without the addition of pandan extract is 7,17% and with the addition of extract. Pandanus 6,71%. While the color test on flour without the addition of extract. Pandan shows a brown color while the addition of pandan extract shows a yellowish green color. Water content and ash content still meet the standard of SNI flour.

Abstract

The province of Gorontalo holds significant potential for entrepreneurial development due to its abundant natural resources. However, entrepreneurs in this region often face challenges in financial management, which negatively impacts the growth of their businesses. This training aims to enhance the financial management capabilities of entrepreneurs in Gorontalo through a financial analysis training program. The methodology involved the identification of target areas and participants, the preparation of training materials, and the implementation of the training through offline sessions. The training was attended by 20 participants, consisting of 15 officials from the provincial cooperative and industry office and 5 local entrepreneurs. The results indicate that the training successfully improved the participants' understanding and skills in managing their business finances. Evaluation of the four participant groups showed that 75% achieved very good scores, with an overall average score of 89. These findings suggest that the training program effectively enhanced the participants' financial literacy and financial analysis skills, which is expected to contribute to the sustainable growth of businesses in the Province of Gorontalo.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengestimasi nilai ekonomi jasa ekosistem kawasan perairan Teluk Tomini Desa Lamu, Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai, Kabupaten Gorontalo, yang berperan penting dalam mendukung kesejahteraan masyarakat lokal dan pelestarian lingkungan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Total Economic Value (TEV) , yang mencakup jasa penyedia, jasa pendukung, jasa budaya, dan nilai keanekaragaman hayati. Data diperoleh melalui survei langsung dengan metode Contingent Valuation Method (CVM) untuk analisis kesediaan membayar ( Willingness to Pay/WTP ) dan metode Travel Cost Method (TCM) untuk penilaian jasa kultural, serta data sekunder dari dokumen resmi dan studi sebelumnya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan total nilai ekonomi kawasan mencapai Rp. 137.642.538,40 per tahun, yang didominasi oleh kontribusi jasa pendukung (33,88%), diikuti oleh jasa kultural (33,16%) dan jasa penyedia (32,96%) . Ekosistem mangrove berperan penting dalam menyediakan manfaat ekologi dan ekonomi, seperti tempat pembiakan, pencarian makan biota laut, dan potensi wisata berbasis alam. Kesimpulannya, perlindungan dan pengelolaan berbasis konservasi perlu diperkuat melalui pelibatan aktif masyarakat lokal dan integrasi nilai jasa ekosistem ke dalam kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi acuan strategi untuk mendukung keseimbangan ekonomi dan ekologi di kawasan perairan kawasan perairan Teluk Tomini Desa Lamu.

Abstract

Festival Sejuta Cumi di Desa Langgula, Kecamatan Batudaa Pantai, merupakan manifestasi modal sosial dalam mendukung pelestarian jasa ekosistem ikan cumi di Teluk Tomini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran nilai gotong royong, norma adat, dan etika tradisional dalam memperkuat keberlanjutan ekosistem dan hubungan sosial. Metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus digunakan, melibatkan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modal sosial masyarakat, yang terdiri dari partisipasi kolektif, kepatuhan terhadap tradisi, dan penghormatan budaya lokal, berkontribusi signifikan dalam menjaga ekosistem laut. Sebanyak 82% responden menyatakan festival ini meningkatkan kesadaran ekologis mereka, sementara 76% menyatakan hubungan sosial menjadi lebih erat, dan 65% merasakan dampak positif pada ekonomi lokal. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Festival Sejuta Cumi tidak hanya menjadi alat budaya, tetapi juga media edukasi lingkungan yang efektif. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya sinergi antara tradisi lokal dan kebijakan modern untuk mencapai pelestarian ekosistem yang berkelanjutan.
