Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan. Sampel berjumlah 61 siswa yang tersebar didua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen berjumlah 29 siswa dan kelas kontrol berjumlah 32 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji t. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa dalam taraf signifikan 0,05 dengan dk = 59 diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel atau 4,880 > 2,003 maka tolak H0. Kesimpulan terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran pendekatan saintifik terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi kelarutan dan hasil kali kelarutan.

Abstract

This research is a class action research, which has purpose to increase student's learning achievement in chemical-bond subject by using concept-mapping strategy. The sample of this research is 31 students of 10th2 Grade at SMA Negeri 1 Telaga that consist of 6 girls and 25 boys.The increase of student's learning achievement by using concept-mapping strategy can be seen from the cycle 1 as high as 80.08% to cycle 2 as high as 85.79%.Based on the result above, the treatment hypothesis "concept-mapping strategy can be used to increase student's learning achievement in chemical-bond subject" is approved.

Abstract

The research aimed to improve students achievement through Cooperative learning model of GI type in salt Hydrolysis lesson Material. It had done in students of 2008/2009 academic years that consisted of 20 students. Techniques in collecting data wereobservation sheet of teacher and students and test of students achievement. The research had to do second cycle,60% of students reached score less than 6,5. there it had to do second cycle. Second cycle was reparation of step and learning proses from first cycle.The result of second cycle showed that students achievement was improved to 95% and reached score standard more than 6,5. thereby, cooperative learning model of GI type in Salt Hydrolysis leason material can improve students achievement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bermaksud untuk mengidentifikasi jenis alkaloid dari ekstrak kental metanol kulit batang mangga (Mangifera indica L). Sebanyak 700 gram serbuk kulit batang mangga dimaserasi dengan pelarut metanol menghasilkan maserat sebanyak 3.1 liter, kemudian di evaporasi pada suhu 40oC menghasilkan ekstrak kental sebanyak 26,89 gram. Hasil pemisahan dengan kromatografi kolom diperoleh 22 fraksi (R1-R22). Dari ke 22 fraksi, fraksi R14 dilanjutkan dengan uji kemurnian secara KLT 1 dimensi dengan berbagai eluen dan KLT 2 dimensi menghasilkan 1 noda. Isolattersebutdilanjutkan dengan uji fitokimia yang memberikan hasil positif terhadap alkaloid dan flavonoid.Terhadap isolate murni dianalisis dengan spektrometri UV-VIS dan IR. Hasil spektropotometri dari isolat menunjukkan bahwa senyawa tersebut merupakan senyawa alkaloid yang mempunyai gugus fungsi N-H (3392,56 cm-1), -CH Alifatik (2927,75 cm-1), C=O (1703,03 cm-1), C-N (1112,85 cm-1), dan N-C=O (613,33 cm-1) serta memberikan serapan pada panjang gelombang 237,5 nm hasil transisi darin * dan n *, yang diakibatkan oleh gugus C=O dan gugus N-H.

Abstract

Isolation and Characterization of Alkaloid Compounds from Plant Sirsak (Annona muricata Linn.) Seeds. Have done the isolation and characterization of the alkaloid content in seeds of Sirsak (A muricata Linn) plant. Isolation was performed with the maceration extraction by using methanol solvent. Condensed methanol extracts fractionated successively with n-hexane and ethyl acetate. Further separation process that is focused on condensed methanol extract using column chromatography, as used silica gel stationary phase and mobile phase was a mixture of n-hexane: ethyl acetate, and ethyl acetate: methanol with gradient have. Purity of the isolates obtained was tested using Thin Layer Chromatography. Isolates were further characterized using UV-Vis and Infrared. The results of spectroscopic analysis of UV-Vis and Infrared (IR) suggested that isolates is a class of alkaloid compound with Alkaloids-Indole type that have characteristics of functional groups N-H, aliphatic C-H, C-N, C=C aliphatic, C=O, =C-H aromatic and provide wavelength spectra max 282.5 nm and 237.5 nm.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mengisolasi dan mengkarakterisasi senyawa metabolit sekunder yang terkandung pada biji kecubung. Isolasi dilakukan dengan tehnik ekstraksi secara maserasi menggunakan pelarut metanol. Selanjutnya proses pemisahan untuk ekstrak kental metanol dilakukan menggunakan kromatografi kolom dengan campuran n-heksan: MTC: aseton (7:1,5:1,5). Uji fitokimia dari isolat murni memberikan hasil yang positif terhadap senyawa terpenoid. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa senyawa yang diperoleh dari biji kecubung berupa kristal berwarna putih. Uji KLT dua dimensi dengan dua perbandingan campuran eluen yaitu n-heksan : etil asetat (7:3) sebagai E1 dengan harga Rf 0,162 dan kloroform : metanol (9,5:0,5) sebagai E2 dengan harga Rf 0,55 menghasilkan noda tunggal. Analisis spektrofotometer Uv-Vis dengan serapan panjang gelombang 281,00 nm dan 284,00 nm diakibatkan oleh adanya transisi n – π* yang disebabkan adanya ikatan kromofor C=O. Hasil ini didukung oleh data spektrum IR menghasilkan gugus-gugus fungsi ulur O-H (3440.77 cm-1), ulur C-H gugus alkil (2935.46 cm-1), ulur C-H alifatik (2858.31 cm-1), ulur C=O (1739.67 cm-1), ulur C=C aromatik (1620.09 dan 1569.95 cm-1), tekuk C-H (1456.16 cm-1), tekuk C-H (1415.65 dan 1404.08 cm-1), dan ulur C-OH (1037.63 cm-1) yang memungkinkan mengandung senyawa terpenoid.

Abstract

Aurivillius is bismuth layered structure ferroelectrics that can be applied as memory, sensor, and catalyst. This research aimed to study the stability of AxBi4-xTi4O15 Aurivillius (A = Ca, Sr, and Ba). Dopants (A) partially substitute Bi at the sites of Bi(1) and Bi(2) of the perovskite layer. This research method is an atomistic simulation using by the GULP code. Simulations were carried out by means of AxBi4-xTi4O15 geometry optimization at constant pressure, using the Buckingham potential. The results showed that the increase in the concentration of dopants substituting Bi accompanied by an increase in lattice energies. The most stable Aurivillius was CaxBi4-xTi4O15 (x = 16.3%) carried out by Bi substitution at Bi(2) site, with lattice energy, -1668.227 eV. Aurivillius stability decreases by increasing the size of the dopant. The maximum concentration number of A dopant substituting Bi was discussed.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a disease that caused a prolonged pandemic in many countries caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus. This study aims to identify the antiviral potential of secondary metabolites in Gorontalo traditional medicinal plants, which are believed to have the ability to inhibit the main protease protein of this virus. The methods used in this research were molecular docking and molecular dynamic. The main protease proteins for SARS-CoV-2 used based on the homology modeling results were 3V3M and 7TE0. The results of the active compounds in the paxlovid drug were also compared to obtain accurate data comparisons. The validation of the docking method on the 3V3M protein using the natural ligand 0EN revealed an RMSD of 0.75 Å. The RMSD value for validating the 7TE0 protein and natural ligand 4WI was 1.65 Å. The best molecular docking results were obtained using physalin F with a binding affinity of −10.3 kcal/mol for the 3V3M protein and physalin J with a binding affinity of −8.9 kcal/mol for the 7TE0 protein. The outcomes of the molecular dynamic method on the best complexes were determined by examining the value of changes in system energy, changes in system temperature, changes in system pressure, RMSD, RMSF, and bond-free energy (ΔG) of the complex. The standard 0EN ligand had a ΔG of −26.53 kcal/mol, while the standard 4WI ligand had a ΔG of −47.16 kcal/mol. The ΔG of the 3V3M-physalin F and 3V3M-physalin J complexes were respectively −28.22 kcal/mol and −26.62 kcal/mol. The ΔG of the 7TE0-Vitexin 2”-O-gallate and 7TE0-physalin J complexes were found to be −28.08 kcal/mol and −26.62 kcal/mol, respectively. The ΔG produced in paxlovid with complexes 3V3M and 7TE0 was −19.38 kcal/mol and −25.44 kcal/mol, respectively. Physalin F, physalin J, and Vitexin 2”-O-gallate have great potential to become SARS-CoV-2 inhibitor agents. However, in terms of structural stability and binding-active residues, these three compounds do not outperform the active substance in paxlovid.

Abstract

Representational Competence (RC) can be enhanced with virtual and concrete media. However, the effectiveness of using virtual media is significantly different from concrete media. Recent studies do not fully confirm the use of virtual and concrete media because the materials used have a lower visuospatial level. This study uses a molecular symmetry material with a high visuospatial level. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of using concrete and virtual media on students' understanding of symmetry material. The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with 62 students as a sample. The comprehension test instrument has a reliability coefficient based on the Cronbach Alpha test of 0.897. Data analysis was performed with a two-way analysis of variance test. The results show that virtual media is more effective than concrete media in increasing RC and understanding molecular symmetry.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the scientific literacy ability of class XI science students of SMAN 1 Suwawa and SMAN 1 Kabila on salt hydrolysis material, with a sample of 243 students. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. This study measured scientific literacy skills using the Test of Scientific Literacy Skills (TOSLS) instrument. The literacy questions used in this study amounted to 20 multiple-choice questions that had been tested for validity with a high level of validity (87%). The results showed that the data obtained on the results of scientific literacy skills of class XI science students consisted of SMAN 1 Suwawa with a percentage of 33.53% and SMAN 1 Kabila with 30.44% overall in the low category.
