Abstract

Abstrak Kurikulum merdeka diharapkan memberikan pembelajaran yang inovatif, bermakna, dan menyenangkan. Namun penerapannya masih belum optimal. Guru masih belum mampu merancang dan menerapkan pembelajaran terdiferensiasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Selain itu penggunaan teknologi digital sebagai bentuk implementasi kurikulum merdeka masih minim. Dengan demikian perlu adanya suatu pelatihan bagi guru untuk meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam merancang pembelajaran terdiferensiasi dan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Kegiatan PKM ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran terdiferensiasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa serta penguatan kompetensi digital guru dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital yang terintegrasi dengan pembelajaran terdiferensasi. Metode yang dilakukan diantaranya sosialisasi dan pelatihan, praktik dan pendampingan, penerapan teknologi dan evaluasi serta tindak lanjut. Hasil PKM ini adalah terdapat peningkatan kompetensi peserta terhadap pembelajaran terdiferensiasi dan peserta mampu mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Kata kunci: kurikulum Merdeka; pembelajaran terdiferensiasi; media pembelajaran Abstract The independent curriculum is expected to provide innovative, meaningful and fun learning. However, its implementation is still not optimal. Teachers are still unable to design and implement differentiated learning according to student needs. In addition, the use of digital technology as a form of implementing the independent curriculum is still minimal. Thus, there is a need for training for teachers to improve their competence in designing differentiated learning and developing digital-based learning media. This PKM activity aims to improve teacher competence in designing differentiated teaching and learning that suits student needs and strengthening teacher digital competence in developing digital-based learning media that is integrated with differentiated learning. The methods include socialisation and training, practice and mentoring, technology application and evaluation and follow-up. The results of this PKM are an increase in participants' competence in differentiated learning and participants are able to develop digital-based learning media. Keywords: independent curriculum; differentiated learning; learning media

Abstract

Introduction: Every year, an estimated 125 million pregnancies are at risk of contracting malaria. Malaria poses a risk to both the mother and the fetus since pregnant women are more likely to get it than non-pregnant women. Newborns, fetuses, and pregnant women are all susceptible to malaria infection. It is frequently associated with anemia, intrauterine growth restriction (IUGR), and issues such as low birth weight and trans placental parasitemia. From the first point of contact, insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) can help shield the pregnant mother and her unborn child from malaria. Methods: A range of English-language journal articles and case studies were reviewed in the development of this literature review  that were released after 2018 in the field of study. Electronic searches were performed on a number of databases, including ScienceDirect and PubMed. Results: A screening procedure was carried out on 189 articles to show that the sources used were relevant and useful. Ultimately, it was determined that 5 papers would serve as the sources for this literature study. ITNs are an effective way to reduce the negative outcome for pregnant mothers who catch malaria during pregnancy, as our assessment of the literature has shown. Studies demonstrate the efficacy of ITNs in reducing the likelihood of unfavorable consequences for expectant mothers who catch malaria during pregnancy.  Conclusion: the efficiency of ITNs in reducing the likelihood that pregnant women who catch malaria during pregnancy will experience unfavorable outcomes. Encouragement of husbands and other important family members to support their spouses' use of ITNs . Reiterating the policy's emphasis on malaria prevention education as a critical element is required to boost the use of free ITNs in healthcare settings

Abstract

Mastitis, or breast inflammation, is classified as either non-lactational or lactational. Mastitis that occurs during lactation is the most prevalent type. Worldwide, only 50% of women are able to breastfeed for six months. It could be the result of an inflammatory breast condition, such as puerperal mastitis or milk stasis, which in certain cases requires supplementation or stopping breastfeeding entirely. We describe a complicated case of a primipara patient who appeared three months after giving birth with lactational mastitis. In this review, we emphasize how crucial multidisciplinary teamwork using Midwifery care is to accurate diagnosis and successful treatment. We go over the usage of oral antibiotics and provide examples of the kind of client support needed to help patients heal and successfully breastfeed during the postpartum phase. Giving the mother the right care and guidance is therefore crucial since poorly managed mastitis can result in an early end to breastfeeding and cause suffering for both the mother and the child.

Abstract

Background: A midwife's fundamental care includes lowering anxiety, improving comfort, and managing labor pain. The health of the mother and fetus is adversely affected by some pharmacologic techniques for reducing labor pain. Applying ice massage to acupressure points can have a variety of benefits, including promoting energy flow there and reducing stress and discomfort by activating peripheral nerve receptors. Activating the spleen (SP6) and large intestine (L14) points reduces labor pain and alleviate anxiety. Purpose: The aim of this paper is to review the literature to identify the effect of ice massage on labor pain and anxiety at SP6 and LI4 point. Methods : A narrative review of journal articles was conducted. Databases searched were PubMed and Google Scholar. Search terms used were “ice massage”, “labor pain”, and “anxiety”. Limitations included ‘English language’and ‘published between 2000–2024. Results : Reviewed for this paper were 10 studies that met the inclusion criteria. Results were categorised using thematic analysis. Themes that emerged were labor pain and anxiety and will be explored under these themes. Conclusions : The impact of ice massage on labor discomfort and anxiety has been covered in this review of the research. Most of the research articles that were used to source this review were conducted at SP6 and LI4 stages and published in clinical trials. The results of the study showed that applying ice massage to the LI4 and SP6 sites reduced labor discomfort. A midwife may think about using ice massage as a technique to lessen anxiety. Midwives can utilize the results of this study to manage labor discomfort.

Abstract

The end of the covid-19 pandemic has provided several important lessons, including the importance of understanding scientific knowledge related to healthy lifestyle behavior and the implementation of healthy lifestyle behavior itself. This study aimed to measure students' science knowledge and healthy lifestyle behavior and the differences between male and female students. This research was descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research was carried out in August-September 2023 involving 432 public senior high school students in Tanjungpinang. Data was collected using tests and questionnaires. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that students' science knowledge and healthy lifestyle behavior were generally in the good and very good categories. There were variations in the number of students in each category. The percentage of achievement of science knowledge and healthy lifestyle behavior between male and female students generally did not have that big of a difference. Even so, students' science knowledge still needs to be improved, especially through science learning

Abstract

Ekosistem mengrove merupakan ekosistem penting di wilayah pesisir. Kerusakan ekosistem mangrove menyebabkan berbagai dampak buruk diantaranya menurunnya keanekaragaman hayati, terjadinya abrasi serta intrusi. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk mengoptimalisasikan penghijauan kawasan pesisir Kota Tanjungpinang melalui pendampingan penanaman mangrove. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk pendampingan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan pada Desember 2022 di Tanjung Sebauk, Kota Tanjungpinang. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh masyarakat yang didominasi oleh para remaja.  Ketercapaian kegiatan diukur melalui kuesioner dengan pertanyaan tertutup dan terbuka. Melalui kegiatan ini, sebanyak 2500 bibit mangrove telah ditanam. Respon peserta terhadap kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan dapat memberikan manfaat terhadap diri sendiri, masyarakat, dan lingkungan. Kegiatan ini dapat menumbuhkan kesadaran pelestarian lingkungan, mengedukasi masyarakat tentang manfaat hutan mangrove dan dampak buruk akibat kerusakan hutan mangrove di kawasan pesisir, serta memberikan pengetahuan tentang cara menanam mangrove yang baik dan benar. Kegiatan pendampingan penanaman mangrove ini telah berkontribusi dalam optimalisasi penghijauan kawasan pesisir Kota Tanjungpinang. Kegiatan seperti ini harus secara kontiniu dilaksanakan, bukan hanya sekedar melakukan penanaman mangrove tetapi juga mengedukasi masyarakat tentang pentingnya hutan mangrove bagi kawasan pesisir.

Abstract

Dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka, pihak sekolah perlu memperhatikan beberapa hal diantaranya digitalisasi dan literasi. Meskipun telah mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka, tetapi pada beberapa sekolah masih mengalami berbagai permasalahan, diantaranya SD Muhammadiyah Tanjungpinang. Diantara permasalahannya adalah guru belum secara merata memahami kurikulum merdeka, digitalisasi yang belum optimal dalam mengimplementasikan kurikulum merdeka, serta literasi siswa yang masih rendah. Tujuan kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah untuk melakukan penguatan konsep dan implementasi kurikulum merdeka, serta penguatan digitalisasi dan literasi. PKM dilaksanakan di SD Muhammadiyah Tanjungpinang dengan guru sebagai peserta kegiatan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama 8 bulan mulai dari Februari hingga November 2024. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam bentuk pelatihan dan pendampingan dengan tahapan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, evaluasi, dan tindak lanjut. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa setelah mengikuti kegiatan pelatihan, terjadi peningkatan pemahaman pada guru dalam kategori tinggi baik untuk topik implementasi kurikulum merdeka, maupun literasi membaca dan literasi keuangan. Setelah serangkaian kegiatan PKM ini, guru diharapkan selalu konsisten melaksanakan pembelajaran berpusat pada peserta didik, serta terus berinovasi dalam meningkatkan literasi siswa.

Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan penerapan kebiasaan hidup positif pada anak-anak pesisir melalui sosialisasi “7 Kebiasaan Anak Indonesia Hebat” di SDN 005 Teluk Sebong, Kabupaten Bintan. Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada Mei 2025 dengan melibatkan 30 siswa kelas IV dan V sebagai peserta utama. Metode yang digunakan bersifat partisipatif, edukatif, dan interaktif, meliputi pemaparan materi menggunakan media visual, simulasi kebiasaan positif, refleksi, tanya jawab, serta evaluasi dengan angket skala Likert 1–4 yang mencakup 10 indikator. Angket dirancang untuk mengukur pemahaman, kebiasaan, dan komitmen siswa dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai karakter yang diajarkan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan 28 siswa (93,3%) berada pada kategori Sangat Baik dan 2 siswa (6,7%) kategori Baik. Rata-rata skor keseluruhan mencapai 87,75% (Sangat Baik). Indikator dengan capaian tertinggi adalah kebiasaan ibadah (94,17%), sedangkan terendah adalah kemampuan menjelaskan kembali materi (79,17%). Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa pendekatan kontekstual yang menggabungkan simulasi, diskusi, dan media visual mampu meningkatkan kesadaran dan komitmen siswa terhadap perilaku positif. Keberhasilan program ini juga dipengaruhi oleh dukungan guru, keterlibatan aktif siswa, serta kesesuaian materi dengan konteks kehidupan sehari-hari mereka di wilayah pesisir. Disarankan agar kegiatan ini dijadikan program rutin sekolah dan dikembangkan dengan fokus pada peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi siswa untuk memperkuat internalisasi nilai karakter secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The Community Service Program (KKN) in Nosari Barat Village, East Bintan District, was initiated due to the high risk of school dropouts caused by the low learning interest among children and adolescents. Economic limitations, lack of awareness of the importance of education, and insufficient motivation from the environment were identified as major contributing factors. The program applied a participatory approach through socialization, interactive lectures, motivational video screenings, and group discussions with children, parents, and the community. The results revealed an increase in educational awareness, stronger motivation among children to continue schooling, and greater parental involvement in supporting learning. This program highlights the significant role of KKN students as agents of change in reducing dropout rates. In conclusion, educational socialization activities effectively foster community awareness and should be sustained to ensure long-term impact.

Abstract

Kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) kelompok 08 Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji dilaksanakan di SDN 010 Bukit Bestari Tanjung Siambang Dompak dengan tujuan meningkatkan kesadaran siswa mengenai bahaya bullying serta menumbuhkan budaya literasi. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan refleksi kegiatan. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman siswa terhadap dampak negatif bullying serta tumbuhnya sikap saling menghargai dan peduli antar teman sebaya. Di sisi lain, kegiatan literasi memperlihatkan bahwa masih terdapat kesenjangan kemampuan membaca, khususnya di kelas 4 dan 5, sehingga diperlukan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih berkesinambungan. Kendala utama meliputi rendahnya fokus siswa, keterbatasan sarana, minimnya keterlibatan orang tua, serta waktu pelaksanaan yang terbatas. Meskipun demikian, penerapan strategi pembelajaran aktif seperti permainan edukatif, ice breaking, dan media interaktif terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan partisipasi siswa. Secara keseluruhan, program ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap pembentukan karakter anti-bullying dan menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun budaya literasi berkelanjutan di sekolah.
