Abstract

Advances in digital technology have encouraged the utilization of artificial intelligence, especially machine learning, in various sectors, including property price analysis. However, there are still many people who do not understand the basic concepts of this technology, so structured and applicable education is needed. To answer this challenge, an activity entitled “Utilization of Machine Learning for Property Price Segmentation and Prediction” was held which aimed to introduce and train participants in the application of machine learning to predict property prices. This activity consists of two main parts, namely webinars and workshops. The webinar focused on introducing the concepts of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and AI Project Cycle as the main method in analyzing house prices. Meanwhile, the workshop provided hands-on training to participants in building prediction models using Google Colab. This activity was carried out through a series of stages, starting from socialization, preparation of materials, pre-test to measure initial understanding, educational and practical sessions, to evaluation through post-test and filling in participant feedback. A total of 39 participants from various backgrounds participated in this activity. The evaluation showed that 38.7% of participants were satisfied, while 51.6% were very satisfied with the program. In addition, the post-test results showed a significant increase in understanding compared to the pre-test results. Based on these results, this activity proved to be successful in providing new insights into the application of machine learning in property price prediction and equipping participants with practical skills that can be applied in the real world.

Abstract

Permanent file deletion on USB storage media is often assumed to completely remove data from the device. Technically, however, this process only deletes file system metadata references while the physical data remains on the storage media until overwritten. This study aims to analyze the file recovery process of permanently deleted files using a digital forensic approach based on the ISO/IEC 27037 standard. The research was conducted using a scenario involving the permanent deletion of ten files from a USB flash drive on a Windows operating system. Digital evidence acquisition was performed using FTK Imager, while examination and file recovery were carried out using Autopsy. The results indicate that all deleted files were successfully recovered because the storage sectors had not been overwritten. The compliance analysis with ISO/IEC 27037 shows that all digital forensic stages were conducted in accordance with the principles of authenticity, integrity, and traceability of digital evidence. This study is expected to serve as a practical and academic reference for the implementation of international standard–based digital forensic investigations on removable storage media.

Abstract

The Create, Read, Update, and Delete (CRUD) concept is one of the four basic operations in data management for web applications. However, there are still people, especially students and beginners in the field of information technology, who do not understand the CRUD workflow systematically, making it difficult for them to build web applications that are integrated with databases. This community service activity aims to improve participants' understanding and skills in applying CRUD logic using the PHP programming language and the Laravel framework. The implementation method was carried out through webinars to reinforce theoretical understanding and workshops for hands-on practice. The activity was conducted online and attended by 48 participants from universities. Evaluation was carried out through pre-tests, post- tests, and feedback questionnaires. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average test score of participants from 64 to 85 percent, an average increase of 32.8%. Meanwhile, the satisfaction level results showed that 39.6% agreed and 47.9% strongly agreed. Thus, this activity was able to improve the basic understanding and skills of web application data management.

Abstract

The rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology requires users to have the ability to compose effective instructions or prompts so that the output produced meets their needs. However, many users, especially students, do not yet understand prompting strategies optimally. Therefore, this community service activity was carried out in the form of a webinar and workshop entitled “Prompt Strategies for Optimal AI Results.” This activity aims to improve participants' understanding and skills in utilizing AI through prompting techniques such as Chain-of-Thought (CoT), Few-shot Prompting, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), ReAct, and Tree of Thoughts (ToT). The methods used in this activity included socialization, pre-testing, webinar material delivery, hands-on practice in the workshop session, post-testing, and evaluation through a feedback questionnaire. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, marked by an increase in the average score from 78.06 in the pre-test to 100 in the post-test, or an increase of 28.1%. Additionally, participant satisfaction with the material, presenters, and activity implementation was very high. Thus, this activity proved effective in improving participants' literacy and competence in the optimal use of AI.
