Abstract

This study investigates the influence of customer knowledge, service features, perceived benefits, and convenience on user interest in adopting BSI Mobile Banking at Mojopahit 2 Branch, Mojokerto City, Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach with a purposive sample of 100 active users, the study employed multiple linear regression analysis through SPSS. Results demonstrate that all four variables significantly affect customer interest, both individually and simultaneously, with perceived benefit emerging as the most dominant factor influencing user adoption. This study contributes to the growing body of research on Islamic digital banking by highlighting how cognitive and experiential factors drive mobile banking adoption in emerging economies with large Muslim populations. Unlike many conventional studies, this research emphasizes the unique feature set of Islamic mobile banking—such as zakah calculators and Qibla direction services—that align with faith-based financial behaviors. The findings provide actionable insights for Islamic financial institutions aiming to expand digital financial inclusion while preserving Shariah compliance. Future international studies can build on this model by comparing adoption dynamics across Islamic banking systems, examining the role of religious values in fintech usability, or integrating behavioral economics into Islamic digital finance frameworks.

Cosmetics have become an important part of women's lives, including teenage santriwati at Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah, who use cosmetics not only to maintain skin health but also to boost self-confidence. Indonesia, as the second largest market for halal cosmetics, is a relevant place to examine the influence of Islamic branding, halal awareness, trust, and product quality on purchasing decisions. Islamic branding is expected to give consumers a sense of trust that the product is halal. The research uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique with the criteria that female Santri are at least 15 years old, Wardah cosmetic users, and have used it for the past year. The data were analysed using multiple regression with a sample of 100 respondents obtained through filling out a questionnaire by Santri, which was then carried out using a using a validity test, a classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results showed that partially Islamic branding (0.029), trust (0.003), and product quality (0.001) have an influence on the purchasing decisions of Pondok Pesantren Annuqayah Santri on Wardah cosmetic products, while halal awareness (0.062) has no effect. These results provide an understanding of the behaviour of santri through an Islamic economic approach. Further research can increase the number of observations about the behaviour of Santri at the Islamic Boarding School.

Abstract

The palm tree (Arenga pinata), which is a member of the areca nut family (Arecaceae), is a closed seed plant (Angiospermae), which means that the seeds are entirely encased in the fruit meat. In general, this plant resembles coconut trees, although palm trees have different stems from coconut trees. The trunks of coconut trees are pristine, in contrast to the filthy trunks of palm trees. Nearly every area of East Rombiya Village is covered in palm trees. The palm tree produces a sweetener known as palm sugar. East Rombiya Village, which has not been heavily farmed, is where the community processes palm sugar. Although resources from palm trees can be used in the food and beverage business, practically all sections of this plant can be utilized and have high economic value. The abundance of these resources can be used as the village's superior product. The purpose of this service is to develop palm sugar production through concentric diversification, namely the development of new products while still using the same production material, namely palm sugar. The service method is carried out through Participatory Action Research (PAR) which in this method is known as a method and strategy that can produce local leaders whose job it is to be able to continue these assisted activities after the service program ends. The results of the diversification produced by the service team are Liquid Palm Sugar and Ant Palm Sugar products. This product is a development of the production of palm sugar produced in East Rombiya Village. This product can add to the selling value of palm sugar, which is often sold at a superficial level. The diversification of palm sugar products that has been carried out can be used as a superior product in East Rombiya village to increase people's income. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the digital transformation process of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the creative economy producing keris in Sumenep, Madura, to preserve cultural heritage while promoting sustainable economic growth within Indonesia’s economic development framework. Keris craftsmen are part of the creative economy’s handicraft sub-sector, which has great potential in increasing economic added value through cultural heritage utilization. This research employs a qualitative-descriptive approach through in-depth interviews with keris craftsmen, observation of digitalization practices, and analysis of digital marketing strategies implementation in three main keris-producing sub-districts: Aeng Tong-Tong, Bluto, and Lenteng. Abstract

Baitul Mal wa Tamwil (BMT) as Islamic microfinance institutions face challenges in creating sustainable service differentiation amid increasingly intense financial sector competition. This research develops the Community-Embedded Islamic Service Excellence (CEISE) Model as a theoretical framework to understand how the integration of Islamic values and community engagement creates competitive advantages in BMT operations. Using a qualitative case study approach at BMT NU East Java Pasongsongan Branch, the study involved in-depth interviews with 10 staff members and 15 customers, observation, and document analysis. Data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman thematic analysis framework. Findings demonstrate that CEISE Model implementation through four main dimensions: Spiritual Service Dimension (SSD), Community Integration Mechanism (CIM), Adaptive Accessibility Framework (AAF), and Sustainable Intimacy Balance (SIB) successfully creates distinctive value propositions. Service innovations such as "door-to-door service" systems (73% utilization), temporal flexibility (67% staff), and Islamic values-based approaches resulted in 89% customer retention, +73 Net Promoter Score, and 56% community participation. Integration of Islamic values (justice, trustworthiness, excellence, public interest) at every service touchpoint creates emotional bonds transcending transactional relationships. This research provides theoretical contribution through CEISE Model development filling literature gaps on service excellence in religious-cultural contexts and practically provides strategic framework for BMT service optimization.

Abstract

This study investigates the resilience of the Indonesia Sharia Stock Index (ISSI) to policy-induced ambiguity shocks, with a specific focus on Trump tariff policies framed within the VUCA paradigm. Employing a GARCH-X(1,1) model on daily data spanning from 3 June 2024 to 27 June 2025, the findings reveal that ISSI exhibits greater sensitivity to global uncertainty, significantly influenced by the VXEEM index than the conventional Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG). However, the dummy variable representing Trump’s tariffs shows no statistically significant impact on the volatility of either market. These results suggest that the ethical screening mechanisms underlying Sharia-compliant stocks may offer limited protection against non-systemic, policy-driven shocks. The study offers conceptual and methodological contributions to the discourse on Islamic finance volatility modeling in an increasingly ambiguous global policy environment.

Customer satisfaction represents a personal assessment of how well a product or service meets predetermined expectations. This investigation seeks to analyze the impact of mobile banking collection services and ethical communication practices on member contentment at BMT NU East Java's Lenteng Branch. Employing quantitative methodology, the study engaged 100 carefully selected participants through targeted sampling techniques. Research data was gathered via survey instruments and processed using multivariate regression analysis with SPSS 26. The findings demonstrate that mobile collection services and communication standards positively and substantially affect member satisfaction, both individually and collectively. Subsequent studies might benefit from examining additional influential variables or incorporating qualitative and mixed-method designs, including in-depth interviews, to obtain more comprehensive insights into member perspectives
