Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, pengetahuan, dan kemandirian ekonomi Kelompok Pemuda GMIT Imanuel di Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan budidaya jamur tiram berbasis potensi lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah participatory action research yang melibatkan mitra secara aktif pada setiap tahapan, mulai dari focus group discussion (FGD), sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, penerapan teknologi sederhana, hingga pendampingan dan evaluasi. Pelatihan mencakup pembuatan media tanam (baglog), sterilisasi, inokulasi bibit, pemeliharaan, panen, dan pengemasan hasil produksi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, di mana sebagian besar mampu melakukan proses budidaya secara mandiri. Dari aspek produksi, panen jamur tiram berlangsung secara konsisten dengan kualitas yang baik, memberikan kontribusi terhadap pendapatan kelompok. Selain manfaat ekonomi, program ini juga mendorong terbentuknya kerja sama yang solid, rasa memiliki, dan semangat kewirausahaan di kalangan pemuda. Budidaya jamur tiram terbukti menjadi alternatif usaha produktif, ramah lingkungan, dan sesuai dengan kondisi lokal, sehingga berpotensi berkelanjutan serta dapat direplikasi di komunitas lain.

Abstract

Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka yang digulirkan pemerintah Indonesia banyak menimbulkan kegagapan di sekolah, khususnya para guru. Para guru harus belajar dan berlatih lebih banyak tentang kurikulum baru ini. Sekolah-sekolah yang berada di kota dengan jaringan internet yang lancar barangkali menerima informasi tentang Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dengan mudah. Hal ini tentunya tidak sama dengan sekolah-sekolah yang ada di pedalaman, termasuk SMP Negeri Teflasi. Sekolah dengan akses yang terjal dan kondisi jaringan internet yang buruk menjadikan informasi tentang Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka tidak mudah diperoleh. Tujuan adanya program pengabdian sosialisasi di SMP Negeri Teflasi adalah untuk memberikan informasi berkaitan dengan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka beserta platform merdeka belajar. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Sosialisasi Pengenalan Kurikulum Merdeka ini disampaikan kepada para guru SMP Negeri Teflasi Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah metode presentasi yang  menampilkan materi melalui LCD dan juga demonstrasi langsung platform merdeka belajar melalui smartphone. Implementasi hasil pengabdian yang dilaksanakan adalah guru mengetahui informasi berkaitan dengan Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah dan guru mampu menggunakan platform merdeka belajar. Guru-guru juga mengetahui perbedaan antara Kurikulum Merdeka dengan kurikulum sebelumnya. Guru-guru juga sudah memperoleh platform merdeka belajar di smartphone masing-masing dan dapat diakses kapanpun ketika jaringan internet baik.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the knowledge and skills of the Kana farmer group in cultivating oyster mushrooms by utilizing furniture waste. The method of implementing this service uses participatory action research with the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The evaluation instrument for this activity uses a questionnaire sheet, and then the data obtained is analyzed descriptively. The results of this service show that there is an increase in knowledge about the utilization of furniture waste in oyster mushroom growth media and provide skill experience to farmer groups in cultivating oyster mushrooms.

Abstract

Background: The province of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Indonesia, boasts a significant expanse of marine territory, making its waters a potential treasure trove of aquatic resources. One such marine resource is the Stylotella SP sponge, which is found in this region. Sponges like Stylotella SP often have intricate relationships with microorganisms, including bacteria. Method: This research was to characterize and identify proteolytic bacteria and test bioactive compounds from isolates of proteolytic bacteria from the sponge Stylotella sp. Proteolytic bacterial strains were rejuvenated first in 2% TSA + Nacl medium and then characterized microscopically and biochemically using catalase and oxidase tests. The diffusion method used the antibacterial activity test against E.coli and S. aureus. Result: The results showed that proteolytic bacterial isolates had irregular and rounded colony shapes, wavy and intact colony edges, hilly and convex colony elevation, and white color, while biochemically, it was declared positive for the catalase and oxidase tests. Antibacterial activity tests on proteolytic bacterial strains showed the ability to inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus with an inhibitory capacity of 9.5 mm and Escherichia coli with an inhibitory capacity of 7 mm.

Abstract

Tablet dosage form is one of the most widely used pharmaceutical. Acetyl salicylic acid is an anti inflammatory medicine, active substance not heat resistant. Starch as a binder of materials in the manufacture of tablets are hydrophilic because amylopectin starch can absorb most of the water. This study aims to determine the variation of the concentration of starch banana heart of stone as the material of binder on physico-chemical properties acid tablets acetyl salicylic meet the requirements of the Indonesian Pharmacopoeia. Based on the explanation above, the research conducted to make four concentration of the starch of banana, i.e. FI (5%), FII (10%), FIII (12.5%) and FIV (15%). From the results evaluation obtained include : flow time, steep angle, indication index, uniformity of weight, hardness, fragility and crumbling time of tablets, all formulas have been qualified by Pharmacopoeia Indonesia. Formulation IV after investigation had better tablet quality.

Abstract

Traditional medicinal plants have the potential for health maintenance and alternative medicine as well as increasing the competitiveness of the national economy because Indonesia is one of the countries rich in biodiversity. This research was conducted in March-June 2021 in Tapanuli Regency, North Sumatra, 3 different villages that are part of the Parmonangan sub-district, namely, Aekraja Village, Hutatinggi Village, Sisordak Village. The objectives to be achieved are to find out how to use medicinal plants. The research method used includes selecting respondents for traditional healers, ethnobotanical surveys including field surveys, interviews and sampling of medicinal plants and preparing herbarium specimens. The results obtained were then analyzed descriptively by calculating the index values ??of U, RFC and RI. Where the largest UV results are UV analysis, the Zingiber officinale value is found to have a value (the largest UV is 0.4), and the highest RFC use values ??include: Zingiber Offiicinale (RFC 0.4), and the highest Relative Impotance values ??include: Zingiber Offiicinale (RFC 0.67) then Based on the results of bioactivity observations; It can be seen that the use of Zingiber officinale contains glucan chemical and polygalacturonan with biactivity as an antitussive. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the psychomotor skills of Pharmacy students in using a microscope. This research is an observational study using a quantitative approach. The population in this study were all active students of Pharmacy of Imelda Medan University. Sampling was done by using simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out by means of descriptive analysis, namely to get an overview of the distribution of research results for each variable categorically with descriptive percentages. The results showed that on average, UIM Pharmacy students were skilled in using a microscope. The highest percentage of the assessed aspects is in the aspect of turning on and off the microscope with a skilled presentation of 64.10%. While the lowest presentation is in the aspect of holding glass objects, with the percentage of unskilled at 25, 64% and less skilled at 28,21%.

Abstract

Tanaman kelor (Moringa oleifera Lam) marupakan salah satu tanaman yang dimanfaatkan sebagai tanaman obat di Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT). Semua bagian tanaman kelor mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah mengetahui kandungan senyawa bioaktif dari ekstrak heksana bakteri endofit dari bunga dan biji kelor. Isolat bakteri endofit yang diperoleh dikarakterisasi morfologi koloni, mikroskopis, pengujian biokimia dan diidentifikasi molekuler. Kandungan kimia bakteri endofit dianalisis dengan metode standar untuk skrining senyawa kimia. Uji aktivitas biokontrol dilakukan terhadap penyebab penyakit layu Fusarium dengan difusi agar. Hasil isolasi menujukkan adanya 8 isolat, dan 2 isolat yaitu BiK.1 dan BiK.3 menghasilkan senyawa bioaktif yang mampu menghambat pertumbuhan jamur patogen Fusarium sp. Dua isolat BiK.1 dan BiK.3 memiliki golongan senyawa alkaloid, terpenoid dan saponin. Ekstrak kasar BiK.1 mempunyai zona hambat 3.1% terhadap Fusarium oxisporum TLPI, sedangkan isolat BiK.1 sebesar 1,2%.   Identifikasi secara molekuler berdasarkan gen 16S rRNA diketahui bahwa isolat BiK.1 memiliki kemiripan genetik dengan Bacillus sp. dan BiK.3 dengan Bacillus cereus dengan nilai query cover mencapai 100%.
