Abstract

This study aimed to analyze organizational culture, the work behavior of production employees, and the relationship between organizational culture and employees' work behavior in coffee production. Determining the research location was purposely done considering that the factory is an active factory operating in producing and processing agricultural products. Respondents in this study used the survey method, in which collect 101 sample of field labors from the population. Data collection was done by interview using a questionnaire. Analysis of the data used is a correlation. The organizational culture analyzed here includes the production process, payment of employee salaries, the value of the type of work, rules, beliefs held in work, decision-making processes, and taboos. The results showed that organizational culture in the form of rules, payment of employee salaries, work beliefs adopted at work, decision-making processes, and taboos simultaneously affected employee work behavior. In contrast, the value of work type had no relationship to employee work behavior. The company should provide training and rewards for employees to improve employee work behavior and enhance employee performance.

Abstract

Women play an important role in development, both in developing countries and in developed countries. As mentioned in Law No. 22/1999 and No. 23/2014, women should have an equal role in local government. This study aims to analyze the law's implementation in terms of women's role in local government in the Kediri Regency, East Java. This study showed that females dominated the number of government employees. The proportion of women working in public services varies across the office services. Women are concentrated in specific sectors requiring expertise, such as health care, education and social welfare. Conversely, the lowest proportion of women is in construction-related sectors. However, the proportion of women in the House of Representatives remained low. These findings imply that local governments should pay attention to allocating female employees. Regencies with female (or male) employee disproportion should be transferred reasonably, the mutation of employees should be fair, and the recruitment of new employees should also be proportionate.

Abstract

A program intervention has been launched to achieve food and nutrition security in Indonesia. However, the process and implementation are supposed to be smoother than anticipated. This research analyzes the involvement and roles of stakeholders and organizations in implementing the program as the factors affecting the process’s smoothness. This research espoused an actor and institution-centered communication approach to dissect the stakeholders directly and laterally involved in executing the program. The East Java region was selected as the study sample. A qualitative ethnographic-phenomenological approach was adopted for this study. The crucial snatchers include government officers, extension workers, original leaders, and growers. Data were compiled using direct interviews and focus group discussions. This study applied triangulations among government organizations, stakeholders, and end-druggies to corroborate the data and information. Results of the analysis show that the dispatches of actors and institutions played dominant roles in the program’s execution. In the early application stage, the dominant role of actor and institution communication was explosively needed in a new program intervention to smooth implementation. In the provincial position, government officers played significant communication roles. The main actors in the program included women leaders of ménage substance education and farmer leaders at the grassroots position. Agrarian extension officers dominantly communicated between parochial and grassroots situations. The roles and involvements of the stakeholders varied across stages of program implementation. Institutions should reduce the dominant roles of their staff members in the late stages, engage local champions to replace the staff members, and substantially lessen reliance on formal institutions.

Abstract

Technological developments have changed the landscape in various sectors, including health, education and industry. However, its influence in Human Resource Management (HR) and financial management is still an important research topic. This research was conducted at CV. Landel Elektrik Semarang, a company engaged in the distributorship of electrical equipment. This project, which employs forty-three people, aims to investigate the relationship between the use of technology and the management of corporate finance and human resources. The analysis method involves path analysis and bootstrapping methods. The results show that, although the SDM shows a good level of reliability, problems of consistency between items within the construct surface. However, the application of technology and financial management shows higher validity. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is no relationship between human resources and the use of technology. However, there is a strong correlation between financial management and technology use. The implication of these findings is the importance of paying attention to technological factors in managing company finances, while improving the consistency and validity of human resources.

Abstract

Urbanisasi yang pesat menyebabkan berkurangnya lahan pertanian di wilayah perkotaan serta meningkatnya volume limbah organik rumah tangga yang tidak terkelola dengan baik. Kondisi ini berdampak pada terbatasnya akses masyarakat kota terhadap pangan segar dan sehat, serta munculnya masalah lingkungan. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketahanan pangan rumah tangga, mengurangi limbah organik, dan menciptakan peluang ekonomi baru melalui penerapan urban farming berbasis hidroponik serta pemanfaatan eco-enzyme sebagai pupuk organik cair. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Bendan Ngisor, Kota Semarang, yang merupakan wilayah padat penduduk dengan keterbatasan lahan hijau dan meningkatnya limbah rumah tangga. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan eco-enzyme, dan praktik budidaya tanaman hidroponik. Melalui program ini, masyarakat dilatih untuk mengelola limbah organik secara mandiri dan memanfaatkannya untuk menunjang pertanian berkelanjutan di lingkungan rumah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan warga dalam mengolah limbah dan memanfaatkan lahan sempit untuk budidaya pangan, sekaligus mendukung penguatan ekonomi rumah tangga secara berkelanjutan. Program ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi teknologi sederhana berbasis hidroponik dan eco-enzyme efektif diterapkan dalam konteks perkotaan sebagai solusi atas permasalahan pangan dan lingkungan.

Abstract

Kinerja pegawai merupakan hasil dari aktivitas individu atau kelompok dalam organisasi berdasarkan wewenang dan tanggung jawab untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Salah satu lembaga pemerintahan di Kabupaten Semarang adalah Dinas Penanaman Modal dan Pelayanan Terpadu Satu Pintu (DPMPTSP), yang bertanggung jawab atas perencanaan, pengkoordinasian, pembinaan, pengawasan, pengendalian, dan evaluasi pelayanan serta perizinan terpadu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh karakteristik pekerjaan, disiplin kerja, dan organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) terhadap kinerja pegawai DPMPTSP Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Sampel diambil secara sensus sebanyak 82 pegawai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara, dengan data primer dan sekunder yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik pekerjaan, disiplin kerja, dan OCB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai. Artinya, semakin baik karakteristik pekerjaan yang dirasakan pegawai, semakin tinggi kedisiplinan, dan semakin kuat perilaku OCB yang ditunjukkan, maka kinerja pegawai juga meningkat. Temuan ini menekankan pentingnya pengelolaan aspek internal organisasi untuk mendukung peningkatan kinerja pegawai secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

One of the training programs that can increase economic income is making Aromatherapy candles, namely by utilizing used cooking oil waste, taking into account that the available resources are easy to obtain and also ingredients that can be used every day. The aim of this community service is to empower young housewives, young men and women and students around residential areas to produce Aromatherapy candle products from used cooking oil and increase community knowledge about how to make Aromatherapy candles using environmentally friendly raw materials. The method of implementing this training is a direct demonstration of aromatherapy candle making techniques using prepared materials and how to make them. The results of the training show the potential for significant social change, both in material (candle production) and non-material (change in mindset) aspects. Changes in participants' mindsets about waste and entrepreneurship reflect a transformative learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the community-based sustainable tourism development in Sukarara Tourism Village, Central Lombok Regency. In the context of the NTB regional government's initiative to promote 99 tourism villages, this research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach to explore the role of the community in preserving local culture, enhancing the economy, and protecting the environment. The results of this study show that the collaboration between the community and the government in Sukarara Tourism Village has created sustainable and inclusive tourism, positively impacting both the community and the environment. The village government emphasizes the importance of preserving the ikat weaving tradition and effective environmental management, despite facing challenges related to infrastructure and human resource skills. Community involvement through Pokdarwis groups is crucial in planning and implementing tourism activities. Innovations in local product development, such as handicrafts and traditional foods, are optimized through effective training and promotion. The community also provides tourism services, including homestays and local guides, to enhance visitor experiences. Community involvement in decision-making through village meetings ensures that tourism policies reflect local needs. Environmental preservation is carried out through cleanup programs and education for tourists, while infrastructure development is improved with community participation. With a collaborative approach, Sukarara Tourism Village can become a successful example of sustainable tourism that benefits future generations.

Abstract

Keberhasilan atau keberlanjutan suatu usaha pembuatan tahu atau tempe dapat dipengaruhi oleh sejumlah faktor yang kompleks. Ada beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan atau keberlanjutan usaha produksi tahu dan tempe, diantaranya adalah kualitas kedelai atau bahan baku memiliki dampak langsung terhadap hasil akhir tempe atau dan tahu. Ketidakmampuan bersaing dengan harga, kualitas, atau inovasi dapat membuat usaha sulit bertahan di pasar yang kompetitif. Tujuan penelitian ini: 1). Mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan usaha tahu tempe dan, 2). Merumuskan strategi dan solusi untuk meningkatkan keberhasilan dan keberlanjutan usaha tahu tempe. Penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus dengan tekhnik analisa datanya menggunakan metode interaktif dimana merupakan pengumpulan data terus menerus dan berlanjut. Metode ini akan memungkinkan peneliti untuk memahami secara mendalam pengalaman para perajin tahu tempe di Primkopti Salatiga, Jawa Tengah. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa industri pengrajin tempe dan tahu di Jawa Tengah memiliki keberlanjutan yang cukup baik dalam menjaga tradisi dan kelangsungan usaha. Meskipun dihadapkan pada beberapa tantangan, seperti fluktuasi harga bahan baku dan adopsi teknologi baru, namun industri ini tetap mampu bertahan dan berkembang dengan strategi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan pasar dan lingkungan sekitar
