Abstract

Rice nutrition including vitamin and amylose contents become important aspect for many people around the world. Rice with high amylose content (low glycemic index) is good for those with Diabetes mellitus. Tocotrienol, one precursor of Vitamin-E biosynthesis is catalyzed by enzymes encoded HGGT, while amylose biosynthesis is catalyzed by enzymes encoded GBSSI. The objective of this study was to find rice varieties with high tocotrienol and/or amylose content based on the expression of HGGT and GBSSI among eight Banyuwangi local rice varieties. Relative expression of HGGT and GBSSI was measured by qRT-PCR and analyzed using 2ΔCt method. Statistical analysis resulted in the significantly different of HGGT and GBSSI relative expression among samples. Relative expression of HGGT from the highest to the lowest were demonstrated by Hitam Melik, Hitam Pekat, Blambangan A3, Merah Bali, Blambangan A2, Berlian, Janur Kuning, and SOJ A3, respectively; while relative expression of GBSSI from the highest to the lowest were demonstrated by Hitam Melik, Hitam Pekat, SOJ A3, Janur Kuning, Berlian, Merah Bali, Blambangan A3, and Blambangan A2, respectively. Based on this research we conclude that Hitam Melik potentially produces higher tocotrienol and lower glycemic index than other studied varieties.

Abstract

Returning losses from the proceeds of corruption will make the perpetrator unable to enjoy the results of his actions. This can be done by seizing certain items obtained or produced in a criminal act as a criminal in carrying out the principle of the life of the nation and state. Basically, state losses occur if the achievements received by the state are less than the money paid by the state. The research method in this thesis is a normative legal research method, namely by conducting library research namely research conducted by examining library materials, especially laws and legal literature relating to problems. The source of data used in this thesis is in the form of prier legal material and or secondary legal material that has to do with qualitative problems, namely what is obtained from research in the field is studied in a comprehensive and comprehensive manner. "State finances or economy" has been explained as discussed in Article 2 of Law Number 31 of 1999 jo Act Number 20 of 2001. Whereas the word "can" actually gives flexibility to the Prosecutor / Public Prosecutor does not have to prove an element of loss " financial / economic state "because corruption is a formal offense, namely the existence of criminal acts of corruption enough to fulfill the elements of corruption, enough to fulfill the elements of actions that have been formulated not by the emergence of consequences. The formulation of the provisions of Article 3 of Act Number 31 of 1999 in conjunction with Law 20 of 2001 is almost identical to the provisions of Article 1 paragraph (1) sub b of Act Number 3 of 1971. only difference is the provisions of Article 3 of Law Number 31 In 1999 jo Law No. 20 of 2001 included elements of "corporation" in it.

Abstract

Mangkunegaran in early establishment initially had a capacity and authority armed with forces and territory, which currently only deemed as one of the cultural guardian institution even more physically interpreted as a cultural heritage object. The inability of Mangkunegaran to dampen the Anti-Swapraja Movement is actually the beginning for waning power politics in Mangkunegaran in the royal system with the doctrine of keagungbinataraan. Declarations to declaration issued by KGPAA Mangkunegara VIII to face the Anti Swapraja movement was compeletely ignored by the society. In traditional Javanese life, it is signed by oncate (the loss of) wahyu kedhaton of Mangkunegaran. In the end the Swapraja Region in Surakarta was revoked, Mangkunegaran has no authority as the center of government.

Abstract

Abstract: Jatropha Leaves, Staphylococcus Epidermidis, Staphylococcus Aureus. Jatropha curcas L leaves contain tannins, saponins and flavonoids. According to some studies, tannins, saponins and flavonoids have antibacterial power. Based on these indications, it is important to do research on antibacterial potency of jatropha leaf extract (Jatropha curcas L) against Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. The aim of this research is to know Antibacterial Activity of Jatropha curcas L Extract on Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus aureus". This research. An experimental study by testing the antibacterial activity of leaf extract and jatropha result of maceration, infundation and reflux as measured by Minimal Inhibitory Concentration (KHM) on growth of Staphylococcus epidermidis and Staphylococcus aureus bacteria. From the results of the research, it was found that the extract of the reflux was brownish green and the characteristic of jatropha leaves. The amount of extract produced was 17.03 g, so the yield was 17.03%. Jatropha leaf extract of maceration has no inhibitory power to S. epidermidis in 4 series concentrations starting from 3.125 ppm to 25.000 ppm. Inhibitory zones begin to appear at concentrations of 50,000 ppm and increase at concentrations of 100,000 ppm. The drag zone diameter in the Jatropha curcas extract of the reflux showed the inhibitory power in all series of concentrations. The smallest inhibitory zone was shown at a concentration of 3,125 ppm (9.33 mm) and increased with increasing concentrations. The diameter of the inhibit zone was greatest at 100,000 ppm concentrations of 22.67 mm. Description of inhibitory zone diameter of methanol leaf extract of jatropha result of maceration and reflux to S. epidermidis. The conclusion of this research is extract of reflux result giving bigger resistance than maceration extract to S. epidermidis and S. aureus. Methanol extract of jatropha from the maceration and reflux have strong antibacterial activity against S. epidermidis and S. aureus but still under Klindamycin.
